Name: Way of the Illusory Fist [Maboroshi kobushi no hōhō] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D-SS (+Legendary) {Currently at D-Rank} Type: Supplementary Element: N/A Range: Self Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Passive Cooldown: N/A Description: The basic theory of performing any sort of genjutsu lies within the user's ability to disrupt the opponent's natural flow of chakra; targeting one of the five senses in an effort of manipulating their mind. An impossible feat to those whom are incapable of performing both ninjutsu and genjutsu as they have no possible way of projecting chakra in an outward fashion as to target an opponent and disrupt their flow of chakra. Albeit, the creator Sunėkuaizu Kiryuu, bearing absolutely no talent whatsoever within those aforementioned fields... had found an unorthodox method which allows him to disrupt the flow of chakra within the body of another. As he had no means of advancing his fighting potential via ninjutsu or genjutsu, he had no choice but to advance his taijutsu to unparalleled levels and thus came to a realization with his astounding level of intelligence as well as knowledge of human anatomy; specifically where Tenketsu points are located. He could strike an opponent in such a way as to virtually change the frequency of the flow chakra within their body and thus disrupt it; causing an illusion to occur. Each and every strike, whether a punch or a kick, an elbow or a knee strike, are performed in such a way that upon a limb being struck; a resonance occurs between the user's kinectic energy being sent and the opponent's chakra which then disrupts all of the chakra network within their body, travelling upward toward the key major organ: the brain. Using his excellent control as a taijutsu specialist, he was capable of changing the frequency of that disruption which allows him to control which genjutsu the opponent suffers as a result from a strike. Through repeated trial and error, he had learned and memorized which frequency does which; hence capable of performing a large array of genjutsu.
One of the strengths of this fighting style, is that unlike the vast majority of genjutsu, it requires no handseals; and as such is much faster than other forms of genjutsu, albeit only one may be used at a time no matter how many strikes are made in a single post. Unfortunately as a result of this interaction, the user must expend chakra (for both the strike and the genjutsu) as to allow a genjutsu to take hold of an opponent's mind; as without it, no genjutsu would occur. All techniques derived from this fighting style are considered to be genjutsu and thus the user is required to level up his genjutsu skill in order to use all associated techniques. Due to the nature of this style, no ranged genjutsu exists as the style targets the sense of touch; making this limited to only close-ranged attacks, The rank of this fighting style determines which techniques may be learned and used as to reflect the level of devotion one places within this fighting style.

Name: Kyotōryū [Swordless Style] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D-SS (+Legendary) {Currently at C-Rank} Type: Supplementary Element: N/A Range: Self Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Passive Cooldown: N/A Description: Kyotōryū, literally meaning swordless style, is an art developed by Sunėkuaizu Kiryuu, that integrates the aspect of turning oneself into a sword unto the life of it's practitioners; whom all dedicate themselves into researching every form of a blade and thus develop theories as to how one may best defend against them. As a result of their devotion, Kyotōryū further evolved into an art which specialized in the utter destruction of all matter of blades through bare fists alone. The developed techniques which all collectively constitute Kyotōryū all consist of shattering an opponent's weapon or further improve the practitioner's defense against sabers; hence making this style incapable of fully utilizing it's prowess against non-armed opponents. The general consensus of outsiders is that the style exclusively relies upon the user's strength in his ability to effectively perform all necessary techniques of Kyotōryū, however that is far from the truth, as all techniques were developed with the concept of effortlessly obliterating bladed weapons rather than using brute force to do so. This feat was achieved through collected knowledge on every aspect of a blade and thus being able to determine the weakest part of the weapon, which in turn results in practitioner's, no matter how weak or frail, being capable of fully utilizing the art to it's full potential.
However, as a result of their practice, all users are incapable of performing any sort of action with a blade without having it crumbling in their hands one way or another; and thus incapable of performing kenjutsu. Even if by chance the user attains a blade which he cannot break due to his current ineptitude of destroying such a material, due to the unique handling of Kyotōryū, results the practitioner in fumbling the weapon constantly and thus making it an impossible feat to use it within and outside of combat. This particular 'technique' is required in order to use any associated Kyotōryū techniques and it's ranking corresponds to which rank of techniques the practitioner may use; hence symbolizing their devotion and knowledge of the art. As a side note, most techniques are named after plants. Each rank attained within the style, the user gains +1 'tier' stat bonus against opponents armed with a blade or similar weapon in both Strength and Speed. - Multi-Rank:
Name: Kyotōryū : Kiku [Swordless Style : Chrysanthemum] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D-SS (+Legendary) {Currently at D-Rank} Type: Defensive Element: N/A Range: Close (0-5m) Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Instant Cooldown: Three Posts Description: The Kyotōryū technique renowned as Chrysanthemum is an elite technique designed to effortlessly obliterate any and all bladed forms of weaponry; it is but one of many sword-breaking techniques within the Kyotōryū style. The Chrysanthemum technique had been developed as to allow the style's practitioner to become capable of effortlessly destroying an armed assailants bladed weapon of choice through using an unique method unlike any other. After one had managed to successfully close the gap between themselves and the target, the student aims for the opponent's thrust or slash to be lodged between their back and arms through a small gap; once having successfully managed to do as such without incurring any harm on their being, their arms would then effectively lock the blade in place between the divide. Once secured, the opponent, unable to retract their weapon in time, would be puzzled by this odd scenario and thus allowing the user adequate amount of time to push their arms forward; steel upon biceps, with a solid back, the weapon would then snap into three separate pieces from the force and the exploited weakness of the blade in question. The rank of this technique determines which weapon may or may not be destroyed via this method; it should be noted that even with superior strength than the user, the opponent is more often than not incapable of retracting the blade in time as to disallow it to be rendered asunder. In order to retract the blade (without taking into account the surprise element), the opponent must possess strength higher than the user, else it is an impossible feat; lest they can somehow loosen the grip of the user some way.

Name: Kyotōryū : Igagoyō Sutansu [Swordless Style : Bristlecone Stance] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Defensive Element: N/A Range: Self Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Instant Cooldown: 2 Posts Description: Igagoyō is one of the most basic stances of the Kyotōryū style and thus, due to it's simplistic nature and it's augmentative quality, is often used in conjunction with the vast majority of Kyotōryū techniques. In it's barest essence, the stance serves to better assess the opponent's next move whilst eliminating any indication of the user's next move, which in turn improves the chance of catching the opponent off guard and allow the user to effortlessly get into position to perform one of the aforementioned techniques.
The vast majority of people, whether shinobi or not, are unaware of the subtleties associated with the stance and thus are often found surprised having met the user close in the distance between themselves and the opponent at an opportune moment. The relaxed and assumed unguarded pose inadvertently lowers the opponent's guard which then coerces them into attacking the user, using this as bait, the practitioner quickly determines the opponent's next move and respond with a countering technique. The aforementioned subtleties consists of slightly bent knees, and stiffened joints allow the user to dash in any direction at full speed without warning; whether to close in the distance, or to run away from an incoming strike. The user's reflexes are temporarily significantly heightened during the duration of the stance, granting an increased 1 'tier' bonus to speed; which loses effect immediately upon leaving the stance whether to attack or avoid a strike.
Name: Kyotōryū : Ugoki Nanba no Jutsu [Swordless Style : Nanba Movement Technique] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Supplementary Element: N/A Range: Self Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Passive Cooldown: N/A Description: The emphasis of the technique lies within modifying the method in which the user moves their feet, as it had been proven that the conventional method in which the vast populace practices is quite inefficient and thus bringing birth to this technique in few martial art styles. The usual method causes people to essentially fall forward whilst walking or running forward, however, the fall is interrupted due to being stopped by having the back foot becoming the lead foot and thus catching the individual before such a thing occurs. Due to this, the foot and knees are constantly strained with each and every step and thus expending energy unnecessarily. Not only that, but the normal method of movement also unnecessarily causes the hips to rotate and the arms to swing inversely or along to the lead foot.
Nanba movements removes all of these unnecessary motions thus significantly lessening the stress placed on the leg. Due to the nature of the modification, sound caused by movement is muffled lest stepping unto an object; such as a branch. Whilst not apparent at first, the user will expend much less energy whilst moving and hence will typically outlast non-users in long distance running; essentially equal to having a full 'mastery' in the endurance stat for movement alone. Whilst understanding the basic concept of the technique is enough to replicate it, it is tremendously difficult to do so as it goes against how one naturally moves their bodies; hence requiring adequate amount of time before being able to replicate it, especially without being conscious of how they move and thus slowed down significantly. This technique is treated as a passive once acquired.
Name: Kyotōryū : Sakeru no Jutsu [Swordless Style : Side Step Technique] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Defensive Element: N/A Range: Close (0-5m) Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Instant Cooldown: 3 Posts Description: Whenever matched up against an opponent whom charges forward toward the user with a, more-or-less, straightforward attack, the user promptly shifts the position of his feet inward to one another along with bending their knees slightly whilst they await for the opponent to come within their reach. Upon reaching the opportune distance between both the user and the assailant, the user slides their feet correspondingly with one foot going outside of the aggressor's lead foot and the other goes right on through with the motion. Should the technique be properly executed, which includes avoiding being hit during its execution, the user would find themselves behind the opponent thus allowing them one of two options; they may either slide their foot whilst pushing the back or the neck of the assailant and thus cause them to hurl toward the ground, or the user may simply launch an attack at their blindside.
Name: Kyotōryū : Kanokosou [Swordless Style : Valerian] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Offensive Element: N/A Range: Close (0-5m) Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Instant Cooldown: 1 Post Description: Kanokosou counts itself as one of many disarmament techniques within the Kyotōryū style, however it is more favored; especially by beginners due to its simplicity. Naturally, it is quite an effective technique, further proved by it's categorization as a Kyotōryū technique. Unlike many of techniques found within the Kyotōryū art, the technique is usable against most armed opponents. As a precaution, the user takes upon himself a defensive stance resembling that of an orthodox boxer, both hands located near the head in order to provide cranium protection against any possible blows, dominant arm slightly further than the other, body facing the opponent slightly sideways as to further limit any striking opportunities. Upon taking this stance, the user quickly twists his body and strikes the opponent's wrist with a sideways kick; all in an effort of weakening the opponent's grip on their weapon and thus send it sprawling across the battlefield. This technique amplifies in effectiveness the more often it is successfully used against the same wrist. Once the weapon is out of the opponent's grasp, the user may proceed toward the weapon and render it asunder via a powerful stomp; or the use of another technique.
Name: Kyotōryū : Kuchinashi [Swordless Style : Gardenia] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Offensive Element: N/A Range: Close (0-5m) Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Instant Cooldown: 3 Posts Description: The user positions their body so that their leading shoulder is directed towards the opponent, this offers very little area on the user's body for the opponent to strike effectively. Their feet are spread somewhat wide with their leading foot slightly up-turned at the heel and a couple inches forward of their rear foot. Their arms are staggered, their leading arm raised near their chin while their rear arm is diagonal and brought close against their mid-torso. This way, both their head and torso are protected by both arms and their feet are spread enough to step out of a kick. When the opponent punches or thrusts with a weapon, the user leans back on their rear foot and reaches forward with their rear arm: their rear arm grabs the opponent's wrist and pulls them forward off their balance. Their leading arm will be brought down into an elbow strike at the opponent's elbow joint. If successful, the strike may be powerful enough to shatter their elbow and render their arm useless.

Name: Kyotōryū : Anpurōshia [Swordless Style : Ambrosia] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: C Type: Offensive Element: N/A Range: Close (0-5m) Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Instant Cooldown: 4 Posts Description: One of the few striking techniques of the Kyotōryū style, designed to effectively subdue an individual by performing a short series of actions which will, when performed successfully, leave the person breathless as well as on the ground. The user performs three moves in rapid succession: a knee strike to the abdomen, another knee strike to the head once grasped within the user's clutches and brought into the knee, and finally an elbow slamming down unto their back. These three moves are made quickly and with fluidly, which implies that the first strike may be defended against, though if successfully landed, the opponent will have no chance defending against the short surge of movements following suite. The reason behind the difficulty of defending against the other two should the first strike hit, is that the knee-strike to the abdomen results in temporary paralysis of the diaphragm, which in layman's terms mean that it would knock the breath out of the opponent and thus causing him to double-over alongside have difficulty breathing. The last strike slams the opponent into the ground with great force.
Name: Kyotōryū : Dorasena [Swordless Style : Dracaena] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: C Type: Supplementary Element: N/A Range: Self Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Passive Cooldown: N/A Description: Dracaena is perhaps the single most important technique belonging to the kyotōryū style as it effectively makes use of the practitioners general knowledge on their anti-kenjutsu art to become quite capable of grabbing any sort of blade without having any cuts inflicted upon their hands. Hence the user becomes capable of severely hampering the opponent's ability to swing their piercing weapon as they become capable of clutching the weapon in question; which then they may choose to either render the weapon asunder via the use of a technique, or merely take it away from the opponent's grasp. However, the opponent has a chance of regaining their weapon should their weapon be grabbed, which is determined upon the difference between their personal strength as well as the user's. Equal or above level allows the assailant to take back their weapon relatively effortlessly, but should the user possess higher strength; it is an impossible feat unless their grip may be significantly loosened in some other way.
Name: Kyotōryū : Dokuninjin [Swordless Style : Conium] Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: C Type: Offensive Element: N/A Range: Close (0-5m) Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Instant (Max 10 Strikes) Cooldown: 5 Posts Description: After having extensively researched human anatomy, the kyotōryū initiate had gained the ability to perform the conium technique; which is a technique meant to effectively disable an arm through striking various pressure points and causing them to relax to the point of being unable to contract whatsoever. An effective way of disarming an armed opponent as they become literally unable to hold their weapon of choice, though the technique may be used to disable an opponent's ability to weave signs with one of their hands; hampering the ability to use ninjutsu as well as most forms of genjutsu. However to completely disable an arm, would require at the very least ten individual strikes; each single strike reduces the opponent's ability to use the afflicted limb by ten percent. Upon having successfully performed the ten strikes, the foe is unable to use their arm for one post; the second post their arm would be quite numb and thus slowed down by an entire 'mastery', returning to normal upon the third post.
