This was going to be one hell of a marathon, but slacking the boy had been, and he didn't like feeling like he was slacking. With things around the house, and life in general, mostly stable for the moment, he felt like taking the hours needed to heavily train was in order, so he'd gone and booked one of the few indoor training rooms that was available to be used. Being Jounin, even at his young age, had it's advantages, and he was able to get access to places that normally one wouldn't even be told existed, let alone allowed to enter. This was one of the former ANBU interrogation rooms, it had been retired for that purpose before he'd even been born, but those with high enough security clearance where allowed to use it for training; as the walls where entire sound and blast proof, and made for a good, safe place to train Genjutsu and other highly dangerous skills far away from anyone that would be at risk.

Starting early in the day was a good idea too, as it meant that fewer would be around outside of those meant to be there; no low ranking children trying to sneak in, or random chunin sent on errands with quick passes, etc. It was an issue in the daylight hours; or rather, the hours when the majority of the village was alive and working. Even with the dual nature of the village, even with the strong lighting from the natural corals and such, they where mostly still human, and they stuck to that fairly typical work during daylight hours routine. The sun way up when he left for the training room, yes; but barely, it hadn't even crested the treelines on the far shore yet; but the hint of color change in the far horizon could be seen. That was enough to let the child know his time had come to use the room, and that it was time to head that way. He'd only get a maximum of twelve hours, sadly; there was a waiting list a mile long for these rooms. It was why he was up before dawn; dog or not like liked to sleep in, same as the rest of his family, but this was important to him, so he was making himself get up and be active before the mist on the sea had even fully formed; it was normal for a morning mist to kick up just before dawn, when the world was starting to breathe again and the winds blew the spray off the water. It was a beautiful time, it gave the world a soft glow-feel, you could almost hide in plain sight and not worry about anything and everyone else; just go about your morning in peaceful reflection and gentle warmth, or cool, depending on the time of the year. This time of year it was an odd warmth; sickly and sweet and salty from the warmer water and cooler air; it wasn't uncomfortable, just strange, and only lasted for a day or two of the season. He was moving through his dim room, only a small candle for light, he didn't want to wake anyone else up by the light shining under his door if he was to use the ceiling light or something, and the candle was enough to see by; sharp eyes did wonders in low light, a byproduct of his canine heritage, even if it was diluted in a sense by his affinity for his Kamizuki blood.

He didn't want to wake his sisters up, even if Temaki was supposed to be coming with him so they could train together; but he knew not to push her too soon. She was just as likely to explode him as she was to not, and he didn't like dragging anyone out of their comfortable beds without needing to. If she was running late, it was fine; she could just meet him at the training room later when she was ready.

He had a small backpack ready to go; it was packed the previous night before he went to sleep, a few bottles of water and energy bars, a bag of jerky, dog treats for Shiroi, etc. Nothing special, a fairly typical day bag for when he was out in the village itself. He wasn't even sure that Shiroi would be coming with, she was exceptionally hard to get out of bed of a morning, and oftentimes he'd be nearly finished with breakfast before she even rolled over to start waking up. Such a good dog, she was. Yuki would feed her if she stayed behind, no dong in their household went hunger, ever; and it wasn't like he hadn't been feeding the other dogs recently either; he was usually the first up, even when he slept in. He'd made the dog's breakfasts the previous night as well; a special hot meal that was meant to cook overnight and be served fresh in the morning, it would be waiting for whomever got up after he left, so that everyone could eat and be happy.

He hefted the little backpack onto his shoulder and moved to the candle on his bedside table, cupping a hand around it and puffing a breath just hard enough to blow it out. The room plunged into grey darkness, that half light that was more shadow than anything that only existed in the pre-dawn twilight; he loved this time of morning, but hated getting up for it, so while it was a nice treat to exist in it, he was still sleepy and likely a tad grumpy, at least for him. He made his way across the immaculate room; for an Inuzuka he was rather clean, although to anyone outside of the family the room was a disaster area; it was immaculate because there wasn't a layer of dirt or soot or water on everything, but nothing was organized or even placed on something, it was sprawled everywhere and that was how he liked it. He closed to the door behind him, he had a lock but didn't use it, especially since Shiroi was still snoring on the bed, and while she could easily open the door when it was closed; the lock gave her a bit of trouble, and she had long since outgrown the little doggy doors they all had; so he never locked it when he left anymore. He made his way down the hall and out into the large social area that was their main living room, kitchen, and dog park; moving over the toys and training gear, and such scattered everywhere and toward the door. He was going to wait for a few minutes by the door; he was a hair early for the time he told his sister, so he'd give her until five or so minutes after that time before he'd leave.

What was morning? It was something that to Temaki didn't exist; a figment of her imagination and nothing beyond that. Yet, if that was the case then why was there a steady and quite annoying beep coming from next to her pillow? Who in the entirety of the ocean had decided that it was a grand and glorious idea to set her alarm clock to go off before the sun was at least high noon in the sky? Oh right, she had. But why? As Temaki laid there, she felt the urge to blow up her alarm clock each time she heard the beep, and her eye twitched to boot in time with it, she found herself thinking over why exactly in the blue blazes of hell she had decided that getting up this early was a good idea. It took several seconds for her brain to catch up and the answer to come to her: training with Hiroyuki. Right, that was a thing.

It had certainly seemed like a good idea in theory: get up super early in the morning so that they would have the maximum time to work together. Get as much training done as possible and then move on elsewhere when they got the boot after the ten or so hours that the room was booked. A simple plan. A nice plan.

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. A plan that was now pissing her off.

With a growl she slapped her hand out without really thinking about what she was doing before hand; a burst of explosive chakra later as her hand made contact with the device followed by a soft bang and the annoyingly beeping alarm clock was in pieces all over her room. So, that was a thing: a thing that would later on in the day need replaced. Grumbling beneath her breath Temaki forced herself to sit up, hoping that the motion would be enough to wake her: which it wasn't.

With long golden blond hair a complete and utter disaster she threw the blankets off of herself and sleepily wandered about her room with her eyes half shut: not that it mattered since the rooms light was off and the room still mostly dark. As she went she picked up clothing: she couldn't very well train in her nightshirt and shorts after all, or could she? No, no that likely wasn't a good idea. That would likely lead to people getting their faces mauled off for looking at her wrong or her not being allowed to leave the house at all given her father's and brother. Definitely better to be dressed than not. When she had the appropriate clothing in hand she gave them a sniff: the Inuzuka nose knows after all. The clothing didn't stink which meant they were clean: given how messy her room was it was sometimes hard to tell without the lovely sniff test. She would have likely paid dearly had she been wrong, but it had been worth a chance. Her night clothes were removed and the appropriate clothing put on since she was still clean from her shower the night before - at least after she took her shirt back off and put it back on again the right way without trying to cram her head through the arm hole the second time around. Temaki, now dressed, wandered over to her dresser.

Temaki went to glance at her clock to check the time and make sure she wasn't running late but given the thing was broken and now in pieces around her room it was a wasted effort. Instead, eyelids still half lidded, she went about forcing a brush through her messy hair. Knots were easily ignored, she was just too used to messy hair and knots by now to be bothered by it, and made quick but rough work in brushing out the rest. It would still be wild, yes, but it was at least brushed and knot free for all of the next five minutes. As she put the brush down on the dresser once more - one of the few items she put back where it belonged funnily enough - she realized she was forgetting something. Bakuha suddenly gave a big rumbling snore from the bed as the overly large wolf rolled over into what had been Temaki's spot and got more comfortable without actually fully waking up. Right, she hadn't woken the wolf up, and given the way the giant beast had just gotten comfortable? That wasn't likely going to happen anytime soon. Meh, it was whatever: Bakuha would find her later when she woke up and ate, so it was all good and nothing to stress about.

Figuring there was nothing else left to waste time with, and still not knowing if she was running late or not, she walked out of her room and mostly closed the door behind herself: if she closed it the whole way a very grumpy Bakuha was likely to just knock it down when she finally did wake up instead of attempting to open it which she very much could when she wasn't being a grump butt. Out in the living room and such she was playing dodge the toys and training equipment as she spotted her brother by the door already waiting for her. "Mmm... mor--mor---" Temaki yawned suddenly and then made work of standing on the tips of her toes and reaching up towards the ceiling. "Morning. Am I late? Alarm clock broke..." She didn't say how; she figured her brother would guess easily enough what sort of accident had befallen her alarm clock: it wasn't the first she had gone through and it certainly wouldn't be the last.

"No, I'm running a bit early. You know how I am, Sister." He left off the bit about how he also knew how his sisters where, none of them were great about mornings, but he was usually the easiest to get up. Usually. If he hadn't been planning for today, he wouldn't be able to get up this easily either. Mornings where glorious time, but he was too much his father's son, and he hated getting up early. If left alone, he'd still be the first one up of the siblings, but it would be at, if not slightly after, noon before he did.

"I believe we have a new batch of them in the closet; you should grab one tonight when we return." He had his little bag resting on the floor beside his feet, a second one packed to be safe just in case she had forgotten to make up one of her own. He lifted his pack, slipping the single strap across his chest, it was the type that was meant to fall across his chest from shoulder to hip, with the pack itself centered high between his shoulder blades. "Let us depart, yes? We should arrive just as the room becomes available for us."

To an outsider, there would have been nothing said on his part; he was speaking using their shared telepathic bond; he'd always been a bit of a mute, and highly prefered to use his mental voice over his physical one. His physical voice was always quiet and raspy, the way that one that wasn't used often was. His roars and other noises that related to his ninja skills where strong and often used; when he spoke in animal languages his voice was strong and perfect; but human tongues just never sat well with him. It was easier to convey his thoughts and meanings using mental words enhanced with emotion and memory and pictures to make sure nothing was lost in translation; as was a problem with verbalizations of human languages.

He'd give her a moment to speak, or do whatever she needed to do; then opened the door so that they could exit the house. He stepped out, holding the door open for her because he was a good brother; not because of some outdated views of chivalry or whatever. Oh, he was kind and caring naturally, but he gave everyone the same level of respect, unless they earned more, or deserved less; but he quantified that based on experience and actions. His sister had more than earned every ounce of his respect, which combined with the extremely tight sibling and familial pack bond that they had, meant he was basically going to bend over backwards to make her happy a lot of the time; but that he also treated her exactly as he wanted to be treated. Golden rule in action and all that.

The walk across the village wouldn't be that long; really; although since they had time, he was going to be that guy and stop for food. They were Inuzuka in stomach, if not always in skills; he was a genjutsu god, she was an explosion goddess, so they definitely weren't normal Inuzuka. They sure as hell eat like their clansmen, though; hence, breakfast was needed. They'd train better that way too; hungry Inuzuka were pissy Inuzuka, and pizzy Inuzuka were inefficient assholes. There was a perfectly good little hole in the wall market stall that was perfect for them; it was all meat and baked goods and such; and that was what they'd both want. They could get a slab of cooked meats and such, as well as a nice hunk of bread and cheese and such for a good breakfast. Hell, the place had amazing sausage rolls, cheesed and otherwise, and it was just... godly. He'd been saving his pocket money and mission pay for weeks for this; they ended up spending the equivalent of a normal family's monthly food budget on one trip to this place for a single meal, so they needed it. Scrawny he was, but he was not a lightweight for food.

"Breakfast first, Sister. We shall sate the beasts in our bellies while we wake up; then train. We can even get some coffee... I don't see anyone complaining about that since we shall be in a safe place."

Oh, telepathy. She liked telepathy. At least, more so than voices in the morning. She might have been awake but that by no means meant she wasn't still borederline grouchy. Even now it was hard for her to focus; what were they talking about? Oh right, the fact that she had blown up her alarm clock and had spoken of needing a replacement. "Mmmm.. Good. Good, good. Less chance of my grouchy ass blowing someone up then." Much easier to speak with her mind than with her mouth; plus it would look less awkward. Or rather, it would look less like she was talking to herself and more like two kids who were just being strangely quiet.

Upon seeing the bag her brother picked up she blinked, realizing she had actually bothered to pack her own - she had just simply forgotten about it until that point. She would hold up a finger, indicating she needed a minute, before disappearing back into her bedroom. A quick snag of her bag, and she was back out with a book bag slung over her right shoulder by a single strap. It was lightly packed with just the essentials in it; she didn't like to over do it after all and really there was no point with everything that they had been taught.

"Okay, let's go. Thanks." She would step past her brother and through the open door, glaring for a moment at the sky: too bright too quickly. But, she would just have to deal with it. So, she walked in silence next to her brother instead of growling at the brightness of the lights and such like she wanted to.

Just as her stomach was starting to wake up and start making noise of its own to indicate it was hungry Hiroyuki was mentioning stopping for food. She was about to nod when she realiezd how odd that might look so she settled on yet another telepathic response. "Mm. Both sound good; I think I need the extra boost anyway. I couldn't fall asleep early last night, though I did actually put in the effort of trying." It had been simply one of those nights. She had gone to bed at a 'normal' time, or rather a time that was normal for the average person, only to end up laying there for several hours straight. It had been one thing or another keeping her awake; too many thoughts racing through her head, too much energy, then once she did start to feel tired it had taken her forever to get to sleep. She didn't bother mentioning all of this of course; she was sure her brother knew how it was to try and go to sleep early only for that to fall through all too easily.

Still, food and coffee would definitely solve this problem. Plus, both would keep her from being grouchy. Oh, she wouldn't act snappish with her own family, so Hiroyuki was more than safe, but everyone else? They didn't get the same pass.
