What a journey, what a journey indeed. Though Avery couldn't be sure her gut instinct was telling her that this vast journey she had undertaken was coming to end: that soon she would find exactly what she had been looking for - her family. She had stayed behind while Alec, their children, and several others had gone on ahead to explore a new land. However, she had found herself missing them too badly to remain behind. She had little to no idea where it was they could be, but she had been willing to explore and look until she found them.

The journey had taken it's toll on Avery; she had picked up some new techniques, and even some new weapons. She was stronger and faster than ever before. She was definitely a force now to be reckoned with. For the moment the majority of her weapons save for her katana which hung from her obi around her waist were sealed in scrolls and stored in the pouch hidden beneath her torn and tattered robes: her clothing had definitely suffered wear and tear during her journey, but she hadn't wanted to waste the money to replace it until she found herself a place to settle down in.

For now Avery was wandering through the darkness, darkness that reminded her very much of home. She was well aware of a large gastly looking beast that was stalking her; an indication of this being her hand resting on the hilt of her katana. The beast had been following her for some time, and had ever intention of making a meal out of the female, but Avery was more than prepared to take care of it and cut it down when it chose to attack.

The beast lunged finally, and Avery unsheathed her weapon. A twirl to build momentum while the beast was in the air, and the sword plunged through the beast like butter, cutting him in two separate halves. The beast was dead before both halves hit the ground, and the sword of Avery's sheathed just as quickly. "Should have tried to eat someone else...you might have survived.", Avery muttered as she kicked the upper torso of the beast out of her way before starting her journey towards the village once more. She didn't get much further before it seemed a large wall was in her way: it seemed clear that the point of it was security; to keep what lurked in the darkness in the darkness and out of whatever was on the other side. Speaking of which: she could hear a familiar voice coming from the other side which caused her to grin.

Bending her knees Avery launched herself into the air and over this wall; the wind gusting around her form as it slowed her decent. She landed on the soft grass in a crouch and stood up as her gold colored gaze took in Alec and three young individuals; two girls and a boy. A grin spread across her face and she folded her arms across her chest. "I was wondering where you got to, Alec..." She glanced over towards the kids; debating whether it was safe to go to Alec or not since it looked like there was a training exercise of some kind going on - or they were actually trying to attack Alec for real, though that wasn't the vibe she was getting.

Akira ran towards their kage while weaving hand seals, hand seals that led for the formation of clones. These clones purpose apparently was to attack Alec, as was Akira's own purpose. It seemed like these attacks were pointless there as something strange, some kind of weird armor, seemed to block the attacks for Alec. Namie darted in as Heiwa did, following the opposite route. She ducked in close but it seemed pointless as it was clear that Namie had in fact secured the bells they had been targeting. She darted off to the opposite side and skidded to a stop with her monkey still on her face.

With her focus back on Alec she could hear him tell them not bad. Heiwa was just beginning to relax her stance when a female clothed in tattered robes came over the protective wall and into the yard. She looked at them all, but addressed Alec by name. Who in the world was this woman? Was she here to fight Alec, as her words had indicated she was searching for him? She was armed after all: Heiwa could clearly see a katana strapped to her side, and she knew that skilled shinobi could make it look like they didn't have weapons on them at all when they really did.

Heiwa looked between Alec and Avery, wondering what Alec's reaction was going to be. Meanwhile, Fa Mulan let out a monkey-like screech and pointed at the woman as if trying to let everyone know she was there; whether they knew or not.

Alec had some kind of strange armor cover him when the clones closed in. It made Akira take a strange look. Alec also blocked his drop kick, but that didn't matter, the distraction worked. As Akira backflipped out of the block, he looked down to see Namie speed in and snatch the bells.

Akira landed on his feet as Alec grinned and said "not bad." He was still puzzled as to why he designed this exercise for one of them to take a loss. In a crouch with his hands on the ground, Akira noticed a woman jump over the back wall, and Heiwa's pet screeching at everyone, announcing her arrival. Who was she? Was she a surprise part of the exercise?

Akira stood up straight, satisfied that Namie and Heiwa were able to get the bells because of his distraction, and fully ready to walk around with an F on his forehead. He was ready, but that didn't mean he was cool with it. He let out a sigh and frowned some. His brothers and sister weren't going to let him live this down. Recruited by the Kage, but a failure at their first exercise...

"Excellent...", the words left Namie's mouth as, upon skidding to a stop successfully, she realized that she was holding not one but two of the bells. Their task had been completed, and the bells aqcuired. Still, she couldn't help but feel like maybe Alec had let them win? Surely it wouldn't have been that easy had their sensei actually been trying? Still, it was a victory and it made her grin.

The screeching of Heiwa's monkey brought her head around, and the grin slipped off of her face as she noticed an armed woman. Given that she hadn't seen her enter the yard by normal means Namie figured that meant she had come from over the wall. She called their sensei by name, and seemed to know who he was. Was she an enemy? An old friend? Who was this strange woman?

Namie looked towards Alec, attempting to judge his reaction to the woman, and wanting to see what it was. Could this be part two of their test? Or was this woman's arrival unexpected?

Someone jumped over the back wall, after killing something, probably one of the monsters in the wilds. getting a good look at the female, Alec recognized her to be Avery, the mother of his child. She must have gotten bored with staying behind in Makkura and decided to come looking for them. Alec was surprised that she was able to find him. He used Telepathy to speak to her, and seeing as it would work better with people he knew, his voice in her mind would be as clear as day.

Fancy seeing you here. I figured you would show up sooner or later. Long story short, we took over this village and got it up and running again. I'm the Kuraikage. This isn't The Dark all over again, we're running a legit village. I'll tell you the whole story later, if Artemis doesn't first. There's a lot of Uchiha living in this village, and I took a couple of them under my wing as students. They've been dreaming of something like this their whole lives; living in a hidden ninja village and being trained by a sensei. But there's thieves out there... thieves that will want their eyes. So i'm training them to be able to defend themselves. So... what you're about to see me do, don't take it the wrong way, alright?... You'll understand.

At the same time, Alec would send a message to Namie, hoping she would hear it. She would surely be confused by his next actions. Namie... Don't be alarmed, it's me, Alec. What you're about to see me do, don't take it seriously, alright?.... It's all part of the plan. Don't worry, you all did well, and I will reward you. Just stand still and watch me for now...

Alec had been responsible for something like this a couple of times in the past. He honestly wanted to see if he still had it, among other reasons. The grin on Alec's face suddenly melted into a frown. After quickly forming hand signs, he created a clone, that was also frowning.

Shadow Clone Jutsu:

Both clones took off faster than ordinary eyes would be able to see. Both would maneuver themselves to ram into both Akira and Heiwa, with the force that would knock the children off of their feet and probably cause them to roll several times. Yet Alec and his clone would be right with them, unsheathing the Blind Fury Stick Sword and holding it in a stabbing position while causing Raiton to Channel up and down the blade; the tip of the blade pointed at their heads, inches away. The Raiton would occasionally lick from the blade to touch bare skin, giving them a slight shock.

Blind Fury Stick Sword:

Alec and his clone took a serious tone then, frowning evilly, standing over them with the sword inches away from their faces. "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO ATTACK ME WITH THE INTENT TO KILL!?" both he and the clone yelled at the same time, speaking in complete synchronization. "Do you think this is a joke? A game?! Do you want to die, right here, and get buried where you're lying? I could kill you and go tell your parents you ran away! Tell them I taught you powerful moves and you defied me! Ran off! Maybe I SHOULD just end the both of you right here, right now!... Are you scared? YOU SHOULD BE!!"

The Symbiote was moving around as if a wind were blowing, adding to Alec's "anger," even though no wind was blowing. He truly looked like the villain that he used to be at the moment. How the kids were going to take it, was yet to be seen....

Alec's three students seemed as if they didn't know what to make of her sudden appearance. She offered a polite smile, but otherwise kept her attention focused on Alec. She would have gone to him, seeing as things seemed peaceful enough and the training exercise over, however his telepathically projected voice in her head caused her to remain exactly where she was. He said that he figured she would show up sooner or later. He said that he had taken over the village and got it up and running. He was the Kuraikage but that this wasn't a Dark situation all over again, and instead of that it was a legitimate village. He said he would tell her the whole story if Artemis didn't first. He then went on to mention that there were a lot of Uchiha in the village and that he had taken a couple of them under his wing as students. They had been dreaming of something like this their whole life, and he was making it come true. He then went on to mention that there were theives out there who would want their eyes, something that Avery knew herself given she had awakened her own Sharingan quite a while back. Alec was training them how to defend themselves. What he was about to do next he said not to take the wrong way, and that she'd understand. Avery simply nodded once in understanding, and remained where she was.

She leaned herself against the wall behind her, confident that nothing would get over it and at her given how high it was. She folded her arms across her chest once more and simply took to watching in silence: she didn't want to interupt whatever it was that Alec had planned for his students. Alec cloned himself once, and then both the real Alec and his clone rushed at the two Uchiha students. The two children would be knocked off their feet from the force of impact, and yet it didn't stop there. Alec and his clone's swords would be unsheathed with Raiton channeling down the blade. These blades were pointed at the children, with raiton dancing down the blade and occasionally looking as if it were touching bare skin.

Then, in a voice Avery had never before heard Alec use, he began to speak. This was definitely not the Alec she knew: he would never attack an innocent or someone who didn't deserve it, so she definitely figured there had to be a point behind this. Some sort of lesson to be learned or a benefit... a benefit. Avery kept her face passive and relaxed though inside she was grinning: she had a feeling she knew what Alec was up to - awakening the children's Sharingan the best way it could be. Avery knew Alec wouldn't really harm or kill them, but would they know that? This definitely looked like a high stress moment, exactly what a Uchiha needed to activate their eyes.

Avery shifted her gold colored gaze over to Namie, curious as to what Alec's remaining students reaction was going to be to all of this: had Alec spoken to her the same way he had spoken to Avery? Or was this all a surprise for the other female?

Heiwa looked over towards Akira, the technical 'loser' out of the group despite the fact that they would not have got the bells had it not been for his sacrifice. It was odd to think of something like that: a sacrifice being the only way they could accomplish their task. It made her wonder if this was how things were on real missions; not the little D and C rank ones she had been doing to help out around the village but the really serious ones. Did this sort of thing sometimes happen during those missions? Was that Alec's point behind this training? To make them work together despite the fact that one of them was going to fail in the end? To show them that so long as the goal was met, that orders were followed out and completed, that that was all that mattered? It was definitely eye opening. It made Heiwa want to train and grow stronger so that this sort of sacrifice would never have to be made in an actual life threatening situation.

Heiwa glanced over to Namie who was focused on their sensei: was she waiting for his reaction to the arrival of this strange woman? The woman didn't say anything further, and Alec didn't respond to her at least not in a way that Heiwa could hear, making her wonder if they did happen to be enemies or allies.

Just as Heiwa's mind was getting away with her, wondering about the possibilities of Alec and this woman's connection, she became aware of Alec suddenly making a single clone of himself: both of whom had frowns on their faces where there had once been grins. Then it was like they had both simply vanished, though in truth they were just moving far too fast for Heiwa's eyes to keep track of. Before she knew it, or would be able to react, Alec or his clone was ramming into her which caused a hard and pained "Ooomph!" of a sound and causing her to lift up off of her feet, hit the ground, and then go rolling several times from the sheer force: all of which had Fa Mulan jumping up and down in place and letting out a horrorendous screeching noise in fear.

This apparently wasn't to be the end of things however. Before Heiwa could respond the now evily frowning Alec or his clone was standing over her with his unsheathed sword mere inches from her face. Alec then began to yell at her as raiton danced across the blade, sometimes actually shocking her as it made contant with her skin. Heiwa's heart was beating fast and hard, the sound reaching her ears and drowning out everything but Alec's voice as he yelled at her that she was told to come at him as if she were attempting to kill him. He asked her if she thought this was all a game and Heiwa wanted to shake her head no and yet found herself utterly frozen from fear and unable to do so. He asked her if she wanted to die right here and be buried where she lay, and then said that he could kill her and tell her parents that she ran away: tell them that he taught her a powerful move and then she defied him and ran off. He said that maybe he should just end them now, both of them, and be done with it right here and right now.

His words, and the strange armor he wore, as well as the expression on his face had Heiwa petrified, more terrified than she had ever been in her life. It was this fear that led to what happened next. She shut her eyes tightly, know even as she felt it what was happening: her Sharingan was awakening in response to her extreme fear. With her heart feeling as if it were about to burst out of her chest she opened her eyes again, both having gone from black to red with a single tomoe in each pupil: if she was going to die here and now she was going to see it coming instead of closing her eyes like a coward. In the back of her mind, as she waited for death to come, she wondered what would happen to Akira and Namie: where they in a similar situation as her? Would they die, too, here and now? She couldn't look to see though, her gaze was stuck fast to the sword in her face, waiting to see it growing closer as it was plunged into her, waiting for death.

Despite the fact that he was probably about to be walking around with an F on his forehead, already hearing the mocking laughter of his brothers and sisters, Akira opened his mouth to ask Alec did he know that woman or not, but he then noticed that Alec went from grinning to frowning. He made a shadow clone suddenly, and then they both seemed to just disappear.

Akira found himself hit, so hard that he was lifted up off of his feet and sent flying. He hit the ground and rolled, groaning and grunting everytime he impacted the ground. When he settled, he turned over to see Alec standing there with a sword out. He would have been surprised that the stick he was always holding was really a sword, disguised to look like a stick, but the sword was in his face currently. The blue glow of raiton was on the blade, and sometimes touched his face, shocking him.

Akira was a mixture of scared and angry now, moreso scared, as Alec yelled at him. He said to attack him with the intention to kill. He asked if this all was a game to them. Akira started to answer, but Alec asked if he wanted to die, right there and get buried in this backyard. He said he'd kill them and go tell his parents that he ran away. The thought of it terrified Akira, more than he'd ever been in his life. Would he ever see his parents and family again?

Alec said he should kill both of them, right now, asking if they were scared, and saying they should be. Akira was too scared to move. He was angry, but the fear was over riding the anger, especially with the way his clothes were moving, and the evil look on his face.

A funny feeling was in his black eyes as he stared toward Alec. As he truly began to feel like this was the end, Akira suddenly found that he could see exceptionally clearer. Feeling his vision suddenly change, Akira realized that his Sharingan had awakened, his pupils changing from black to red, each containing one tomoe. He could clearly see the chakra on the blade in his face. He would probably be pretty excited if he weren't inches away from being killed.

Was this really the end?

Namie opened her mouth, about to ask the Kuraikage if he knew this woman or not and if they should be concerned when suddenly the Kuraikage's voice was in her head. She shut her mouth, while feeling startled and shocked. She had read various books of people having such an ability, people who could use telepathy and talk to other people without using their mouth, but she had never thought it actually existed. Alec told her not to be alarmed, and mentioned not to take what he was about to do seriously: that it was part of some sort of plan. He told her not to worry, and that they all did well, and that she was going to be rewarded. He added then that she should just stand still and watch him...

Namie didn't respond, she didn't really have time to. Before she knew it Alec was cloning himself, unsheathing a weapon clearly coated in raiton, and attacking the two Uchiha: or rather knocking them over and then sticking the sword in their face which seemed to be shocking them a bit. Fa Mulan, Heiwa's monkey, was jumping up and down in place and freaking out: it made her think the monkey wasn't used to such hostile situations.

Namie found herself unable to move even if she had wanted to: what was their sensei doing and why? She couldn't understand what sort of lesson was to be learned by this, at least not at first. Not until she saw the chance in the two Uchiha's eyes and realized what was happening: she knew Uchiha had the ability to use something called Sharingan, which was an enhanced sight. Was this what this was all about? Was their sensei trying to force their Sharingan to awaken? If so, it had worked...

Alec saw that he still had it. He'd scared both of the kids shitless, so shitless, that both awakened their 1 tomoe Sharingan.

He began to feel bad then. Alec and his clone immediately sheathed the Blind Fury sticks, the frown disappearing from his face. They helped the kids up to their feet and kneeled to begin dusting them off.

"I apologize," he said, a look of pure sincerity on his blindfolded face. "Truly, that's not me. I'm sorry... I'm sorry. I would never hurt you kids. I only did what I did to bring out your true potential, and it worked. I could never bring myself to kill a child, please believe me... If there were any other way to help you awaken your Sharingan I would have done it, but this was the only way."

When his clone was done dusting off Heiwa, looking her over to make sure she wasn't too badly injured, it vanished into smoke. Alec stood up again. "You all must be wondering what the meaning behind this exercise is, and i'll tell you... it was teamwork," Alec said, resting his hands on top of his stick again. "It was to see who would put themselves at risk so that their teammates would win; who would put aside their individual interests for the team as a whole. You passed with flying colors. I never planned on putting an F on your foreheads, and we'll all eat something when the time comes, so don't worry."

Alec looked towards Avery again. "You must be wondering who the woman is over there, she's Avery, the mother of my daughter. Seems like she just arrived on this continent from back home in Makkuragakure."

Alec rubbed the bottom of his chin while thinking, looking the kids over. "I'm going to reward all of you kids... I said I would make sure you could defend yourselves, even you Namie, and I think I know what i'll teach the 3 of you. But before that, you must have some questions. Feel free to ask me anything, and i'll answer the best way I can..."

They had to have many questions, about his clothes, his weapons, and mainly how he could see with that blindfold on. Alec would tell them whatever they wanted to know. He owed them that much now.

The Uchiha children were scared so badly by the act that Alec was putting on that sure enough their Sharingan activated, just like Avery had thought they would. Alec and his clone sheathed their blades as they too spotted the change in their eyes, and then both Alec and his clone helped the kids back onto their feet before dusting them off. It was during this time that Avery walked over closer and came to a stop nearby. The kids seemed to be mostly uninjured from first glance, though she could imagine the amount of fear they had to have been feeling during the whole thing.

Avery remained silent while Alec apologized for what he had done, saying that had there been another way he wouldn't have done things like this, but that there truly was no other way to help them the way he had wanted to. He said that the method behind his training exercise, the one that Avery had come into at the end, was to teach them teamwork and to put the individual interests on the back burner for the good of the whole team. He said he never planned on putting an F on their foreheads, and that they'd all eat when the time came.

She gave a nod of greeting and genuine smile as Alec then introduced her, and explained that she was Artemis' mother, and had just arrived from another continent. Avery kept silent then as Alec gave the kids a chance to ask him questions: she had no intentions of interupting, she was more than willing and patient to wait to hear the entire story of this new village.

Heiwa was still waiting for death to come, for Alec to cut her to pieces or plung his sword through her forehead: expecting lights out at any moment. But, that didn't happen.

A look of confusion crossed her face as suddenly Alec sheathed his weapon and then helped her to her feet before going about the process of dusting her off. She felt her legs shaking a bit from the residual fear she was feeling as she listened in stunned silence to Alec's apology. He said that that wasn't him, and that he would really never hurt them. He had done what he did to bring out their true potential: by which she assumed he meant forcing their Sharingan to awaken. He said then that he could never kill a child, and had there been another way to have done this he would have. By the time Alec's explanation was over Heiwa wasn't shaking anymore, and was quite a bit calmer: no longer was her heart beating so hard that she could hear it in her ears.

Despite everything that happened, and despite how scared she had been moments ago, she found herself unable to remain angry at the Kuraikage and found herself forgiving him easily enough. It made sense after all: the Sharingan could only be awakened through a truly stressful and traumatic moment and it didn't get any more stressful or traumatic than a near death experience. Had their sensei told them his plan ahead of time than it wouldn't have worked, and now that it was all over it seemed well worth it given she now had access to Sharingan. "I accept your apology, sensei. It makes sense now that you explained it..", she said, scratching the back of her head with a grin on her face. She found herself wondering if Akira would be as quick to forgive as she was being, or if he would end up holding a grudge against the Kuraikage for a while.

She watched then as the clone which had been dusting her off and looking her over as if checking for injuries poofed before she turned her attention onto the real Alec. She listened, still silent, as Alec went on to explain that the point of the earlier exercise had been teamwork, to see who would put themselves at risk for the good of the rest of the team. To see who would put aside their own individual interests for the good and benefit of the rest of the team. He said that they passed with flying colors, and that he had never had any intentions of making any of them wear an F on their forehead, and that they would all get a chance to eat when the time came. Given everything that had been happening it wasn't until food was mentioned that she realized just how hungry she now felt: her stomach growling and roaring to life as if the mention of food was its cue to start making noise once again.

It was then that the mystery behind the female was revealed: her name was Avery, and she was the mother of one of Alec's children. She had come from some other continent to theirs. Alec then went on to say that he was going to reward them, all three of them, and what he was going to teach them would allow them to defend themselves better, or so was his plan. He then went on to say that before that though he was sure they had some questions, and to feel free to ask him anything and he would answer the best way he could.

Heiwa thought of everything she had seen during their training exercise, and everything that happened, and the most burning question she had was about his sight: how exactly he could see. "How can you see? I mean, you have a blind fold on. But, you seem able to see everything everywhere anyway.", she was going to add that it seemed like he could even see better than people who had functioning eyes, but felt that that was too rude. She was hoping she didn't offend him with her question as is: he seemed to be blind, and her mother had always taught her that it was rude to ask people about their handicaps - yet, she also felt like perhaps she had a right to ask after everything that had just happened.

Akira could have sworn his life was passing before his new eyes. He could see his mother, his father, and all of his siblings. He could see past events in his short 14 years. So, this was how it was going to end, so soon after awakening his Sharingan...

But then, Alec was sheathing his sword, and helping him up. The frown was gone from his face, and his clothes stopped moving. Alec was on his knees, dusting him off and apologizing. The look on his face truly said that he was sorry. Akira, still sort of scared, looked over to see a clone of Alec doing the same to Heiwa, who'd also awakened her Sharingan.

Alec said he'd never hurt him or Heiwa, and that he only did what he did to help them awaken their gift. He said he could never bring himself to kill a child, and Akira believed him. It there were any other way to awaken their eyes, he would have done it. Everything began to make sense...

"I forgive you, Sensei," said Akira, calming himself down. When Alec stood up, he said the purpose behind the exercise was teamwork. He wanted to see who would go above and beyond for the sake of the team, and he'd been the one to volunteer. Again, everything began to make sense. He said he didn't have to wear an F on his forehead, which was a relief, and that they'd all get to eat.

Next, Alec introduced the female who jumped over the back wall, named Avery, who was described as either his wife or his girlfriend at least, seeing as they had a kid together. Akira waved at her, thinking that she had to be just as strong and amazing as Alec, with all kinds of hidden, powerful techniques.

Alec said he was going to reward them, which made him begin to get excited again. Along with awakening his Sharingan, there would be more goodies. Alec first asked if they had any questions, to which Heiwa asked exactly what he was thinking: how was it that he could see even though he was blindfolded. "Yeah... and um, what's up with your clothes?... They seem to be... alive. When I hit you with my Katon clones, your clothes turned into Armor! How do you do that?..."

Would Alec really tell them his secrets? Akira was curious to know.

Alec Kane apologized and explained himself and the reasoning behind what he had just done. Namie was kind of expecting her Uchiha teammates to be angry at Alec for forcing such a stressful moment in them, and yet both seemed willing enough to offer him their forgiveness. She found herself feeling glad to hear that there wouldn't be any hard feelings left over from this whole ordeal: especially since both of the Uchiha had come out with a pretty amazing sight ability.

Namie was excited to see what it was Alec was going to teach them: wondering if it would end up being something powerful like the Rasengan ability that Kurai had taught her a few days prior. She liked the idea of having another trump card at her disposal in case a dangerous situation rose up.

When Alec gave them a chance to ask questions Heiwa asked about his sight: how he could see everywhere and anywhere even though he was blind. Akira asked about his clothing and the wondered how it had turned to armor when he had been attacked. Namie wanted to ask something too, but something different than the other two: who knew if this chance to ask questions would come around again.

"You mentioned a place called Makkuragakure? Is that where you guys are all from? Why come here?"

Both of the Uchihas seemed to be forgiving enough. Alec decided to leave further development of their eyes to them; jump starting their abilities would be enough for him.

All 3 asked different questions. Heiwa asked how he could see, Akira asked about his clothes, and Namie asked about Makkura, their original home. It all put a grin on Alec's face, being reminded of his dirty history. "Heh... All of your questions seem to be related, so allow me to explain..."

Alec sat on his backside as he began to explain. He told the three kids about the time he was an ordinary ninja in a technologically advanced village called Hanagakure. The specialty of the village was the ability to create chakra enhanced weapons, named "Weapons Technician," or Weapons Tech for short. The village was ran by a man named Izanagi Uchiha, who fancied himself elite and planned to put himself and the village above all others. Izanagi had many followers. Hana was a parent village to another village nearby that was once beautiful and thriving, turned into a wasteland by Hana, called Makkuragakure.

Alec explained that he attempted to be a regular ninja of the village until catching wind of Izanagi's elitism. Alec admitted that he developed a villain mentality and began to cause mischief around the village. He bombed buildings, killed some of the elites that tried to kill him, and deserted Hana, becoming a Missing Nin.

After visiting a snow village called Korigakure where a family member named Mitsukai was Kage, where he was allowed the use of a forge to create his prized Kane Katana, Alec traveled to a desert village called Yokuchigakure, where he encountered his daughter Destiny. At this point is when wanted posters began to appear for Alec, with a large bounty. While drinking in a bar, several entered and tried to cash in on Alec, but they all failed, and ended up in bloody pieces in the bar. The Kage appeared and tried to have Alec leave, and in the process a fight ensued. The Yokuchikage was left without his right leg.

One of the Yokuchikage's Genin was lying in wait outside of the bar, a Uchiha. He was captured by Destiny, and similar to what he'd just put Akira and Heiwa through, Alec and Destiny set about scaring the Uchiha half to death in order to try an awaken his Sharingan. The process was successful, and Alec stole one of his eyes. Yokuchikagure was home to a genius medical prodigy named Holeman - currently residing in Sabakurgakure nearby - and Alec convinces him to surgically implant the eye into his head.

The next stop was a village called Niwaurushigakure, where he would encounter Demi, his other daughter. It was while plotting the next course of action, involving meeting a sage clan to gain more power, when Izanagi personally called Alec out. Alec returned to Hana alone. Several more elites try for Alec's life, but they fail... miserably. In the fight with Izanagi, Alec slits his throat. Before he dies he awakens his Sharingan, both of which are stolen by Alec.

At this point is when Alec would remove his blindfold to show the kids his 3 Tomoe Sharingan. "It's true I was a villain back then, and exploited Uchiha for their eyes, but Izanagi was worse... He deserved to die."

He would explain that he returned to the desert to have Holeman inplant the other eye. Since non-Uchiha with Sharingan eyes cannot deactivate them like pure blooded Uchiha could, and would have to keep them covered so that he wouldn't drain all of his chakra, Alec would need another method of seeing. He began to explain Holeman and his clan, and how they were once part of the Uchiha clan long ago. A powerful medic researched the eyes of the Uchiha and the devious methods involved in making them more powerful. Deciding that he wanted nothing to do with the eyes, he removed his own and created the Holeman Chakra Radar. It allowed him to see even better than his actual eyes, and at it's highest form, to see anywhere within the country he was in, as well as the next country over. After he was taught the radar by Holeman, Alec went on to evolve his radar into an even more powerful version all his own, allowing him to see the strength of his opponents, to notice their intent, to tell friend from foe, among other things.

After killing Izanagi, Alec left the village, not before kidnapping Avery. She allowed herself to be taken, and after explaining to her that the village was run by elites and was responsible for the destruction of another village were innocent people were turned into mutants and scum, Avery was more than willing to leave. Alec, Avery and the family decide to take over Makkuragakure. It takes a few deaths and some convincing of the locals, but they eventually accept Alec as their new leader. Alec, Avery and the family begin to bring Makkura out of the dump state that it was in. A tower situated in the center of the village had been sealed up for decades, but Alec easily opens it. The tower is filled with many secrets from long ages past including his Symbiote. It attaches itself to Alec, and he learns to control it. The Symbiote protects Alec from damage, and allows him to transform it into whatever article of clothing he thinks of, as well as disguise himself. Alec came to find that the civilization from long ago attempted to make living armor in order to avoid constant maintenance while at war, and to easily infiltrate enemy lines. The Symbiote was the prototype and the only version made. Possessing intelligence of it's own, it escaped and hid until encountering Alec.

Alec then vaguely described how Makkura went from being a dump and a wasteland to the largest, strongest village back on their home continent. After minor conflict with other villages, including kidnappings, a summit that went wrong, and the annihilation of Korigakure, all of the fighting ceased. Always being one for adventure, he traveled through another continent where there were other minor incidents before arriving here, discovering Kurayamigakure, defeating The Headbands, and ending up where he was currently.

Alec was giving the children a chance to ask questions and each one of the asked a different one. Heiwa wanted to know how it was that Alec could see even though he was blind folded, Akira wanted to know about the armor that he had, and Namie was curious about Makkuragakure. All three of those things went hand in hand, as Alec said, so Avery simply kept quiet while he went about telling the very long tale.

As Alec mentioned everything Avery could imagine it in her minds eye. Everything to do with Hanagakure, the way the Commander General there acted, the things that Alec did in retaliation. The other villages that he mentioned as he explained where he found each one of his children. Alec even went so far as to reveal his own Sharingan to the three, honestly admitting he used to exploit Uchiha for their eyes.

The story continued up until the end, which was when Avery would smile gently and look to the three students of Alec's. "I too am a Uchiha like you two." She figured she might as well be honest considering everything that Alec had just admitted. They had a right to know that there was another Uchiha like them in their midst, even if she didn't nessecarily dress like the typical Uchiha did.

While Heiwa had been curious about Alec's ability to see it turned out that Akira had been curious about his armor, and Namie had been curious about Makkuragakure. Alec seemed prepaerd to answer all of them, and said that what they sought to know was all connected in some way. Alec sat down before he began his tale and it was definitely an interesting one. Alec said that he had come from a village called Hanagakure whos leader wasn't all that great. Because of this Alec caused some mischief and lashed out. He bombed some places and even killed some of the elites of the village. This made Alec a criminal, a Missing Nin. From there Alec ventured to a snowy village which was being run by a family member of Alec's, it was there he forged oen of his weapons. Alec then went to visit another village where his status as a Missing Nin was known. This led to a fight with the leader of that village while Alec's daughter, Destiny, scared a genin Uchiha into awakening their eyes. Alec took one of these eyes. Given they were in the desert which was home to a medical prodigy who now lived in the neighboring village Alec asked him to implant the eyes. Following this was a trip to another village which was when the leader of Hana called their sensei out for a fight, which ended badly for the leader.

It was then that Alec revealed what was underneath of the blindfold he wore: Sharingan. it made sense now for him to hide them - a non Uchiha had to endure a constant chakra drain when their eyes were in use, and they couldn't 'turn them off' so to speak so instead had to keep them covered until it was time to use them. Holeman, who was explained to descend from Uchiha, taught Alec how to see without eyes, thus giving him the ability that he had.

Following this was more of an adventure which led to the kidnapping of the woman named Avery who went willingly enough. The pair got into a relationship which led to them having a child. They also fixed up the village of Makkuragakure and got it up and running. On and on the story went until it ended where it did: with Alec and some of his people arriving here and helping them out to then establish a legitimate ninja village.

Following this Avery then spoke up, explaining that she too was a Uchiha like them.

It was a whole lot of information to take in, and a lot of it was jaw dropping. Alec was admitting to them that he used to be a criminal, who farmed Uchiha eyes. Yet, all of his story seemed to have good reasoning behind it. There always seemed to be a fairly legitimate reason as to why he did what he did. "I.... wow. That's quite a tale. I don't understand why they made you a missing nin though. I mean, you did bomb places, but it seems to me like those people deserved it." No, she wouldn't hold his past against him, Heiwa wasn't that sort of person. Besides, not all Uchiha were good, and some did deserve to lose their eyes: it was power that would only go to their head and lead to worse things.

"From what I remember from what my parents taught me about the clan history it's proven that some Uchiha shouldn't have their eyes; it makes them power hungry and evil. That guy from Hana sounds like that's exactly what he was like."

Alec said all of their questions were related, and he sat down to tell a story. Since he sat down, Akira figured it was going to be a long, interesting tale, so Akira sat down too.

The Kuraikage didn't fail to disappoint. He told a tale of his backstory that seemed to play out before his new eyes. As Alec told it, Akira imagined himself there with him, seeing it for himself. An advanced, futuristic village called Hanagakure, where he was a "Weapons Technician." That explained why he had that weird sword at his side, and that stick with the hidden sword in it. He said the people who lived there were elites, and it drove him to become what people considered to be a villain. Alec killed people and bombed buildings, then left, becoming a missing nin.

After going to a snow village to build his katana, he went to a desert village where some tried to capture him, to end up in pieces. A Genin Uchiha, much like himself at the moment, tried to set a trap, but his daughter foiled it. Alec and she scared him, much like he'd just done to himself and Heiwa, forcing his Sharingan to awaken, and Alec stole one of his eyes. He tried to imagine how it would feel to have an eye pulled from the socket, but it made him squint, so he put that thought out of his mind.

He went to another village with a name he could pronounce, and after meeting his other daughter, he was called out by Izanagi, another Uchiha, and one of the Uchihas that the old ones used to tell him about; arrogant, self righteous, power hungry. The kind of Uchiha that deserved to be put down; a Uchiha that painted a bad picture of the rest of the clan. Alec killed him and stole both of his eyes. Akira promised himself that he wouldn't become the same way.

Alec took his blindfold off then, to reveal that he had Sharingan, with all 3 tomoe. Akira looked surprised. Now it made sense why he kept them covered; the old ones also told tales of those who used the eyes of Uchiha but weren't Uchiha themselves. Non Uchihas had to cover them up when not in use, since the couldn't deactivate them. Akira was wondering how Alec could see with his blindfold, and he went on to explain that next.

He had a friend named Holeman, in a clan called Holeman. A long time ago, a Uchiha found out about the powers of their eyes, and the methods in which to make them stronger. He wanted nothing to do with it, so he removed his eyes, and created a whole new way of seeing. He said the Holeman method of seeing was better than real eyes, and allowed him to see anywhere in the entire country, and even in the next at it's strongest. Alec said he'd evolved his into an even powerful form that allowed him to see if people were good or bad, and how strong other people were.

It was amazing. Akira didn't think such things were possible. But it explained why Alec saw everything as they were attacking him, even with his back turned. Alec went on to say after killing Izanagi, he kidnapped Avery and took her out of Hana. She let him, and after everything was explained to her she was glad she'd left. The rest of the story was about what he expected: He took over Makkuragakure, turned it into a powerhouse, got into some conflicts with the other villages and became the strongest of them all. After some other adventures in another continent, he ended up here.

"...Wow. It all... sounds so exciting," Akira said. Avery said she was a Uchiha too, even though she didn't look it. "No surprise, we all lived looking like somebody else too, until Sensei and the rest got rid of the Headband gang. Now we can look like we should. You can too, Ms. Avery..."

Akira began to wonder if there were other Uchiha out there, in hiding. He also began to wonder if he would have an adventure as epic as Alec's one day. It all made him determined to get strong, but he wouldn't rush it. He would take it slow and steady as he'd always had.

"....", Alec sat down and so did Akira while Heiwa seemed to remain standing. Figuring that this was likely going to be a very long and likely interesting tale she too sat down on the grass. While she listened to their sensei begin to speak she pulled off her gas mask the rest of the way and slipped it into her shoulder bag: she really felt no reason to have it on since no one had judged her and she doubted they would, and therefore she felt no reason to hide behind it.

Just like she figured Alec Kane's tale was filled with all sorts of adventure. It sounded fun and yet incredibly dangerous. He had gone from a normal shinobi in a technologically advanced village into a missing-nin because the person who ran the village had an elite complex. From there things only continued to get more and more interesting. From village to village Alec went, meeting new people, meeting up with some old people, and gaining Sharingan along the way and having them implanted in his head. At some point during his tale he had kidnapped Avery who strangly enough had been willing to go with; and after he had explained what had happened and what the village had turned into she hadn't minded at all. From there Alec Kane's tale continued, just as interesting as fascinating as she thought it was going to be. It ended with him and his friends having fixed up the village of Makkuragakure no Sato; turning it from a worthless dump into a powerhouse of a village and a place that that was safe and that people actually wanted to live. It reminded Namie very much of what Alec and his friends had done here: would they too become powerhouses? Namie didn't know if that's what she wanted; she wanted to be strong enough to kill the people who had murdered her mother, but she was worried that too much power might corrupt her way of thinking and turn her into someone else: someone she didn't want to become.

Then, as if this interesting tale wasn't more than enough of a treat, Avery added on more information by explaining that she was a Uchiha as well, just like her two teammates. She didn't look like one, or at least dress like one, and Namie found herself wondering if that would change.

"Wow, that's an amazing story, sensei. I hope I get to go on something like that too one day. I've never had the chance to visit outside of Kurayami before, I've never even thought of having the chance to see the other villages."

Alec signaled to the maids on the back porch. The two females dressed in maid uniforms came down off of the porch, each of them holding trays of food. There were sandwiches and cookies, and spring water to wash it all down. Alec's sensitive ears could hear the growls of the stomachs of both Akira and Heiwa.

Alec stood up again and stretched, his back and legs making popping sound. "Oww," he said, rolling a shoulder and shaking out his right leg. "Old age... alright kids, get something to eat. You'll need it for this next lesson. First i'm gonna teach you all a very handy technique, and then we'll move on to individual training. I'll teach you all something unique to only you. Then after that, I think perhaps we'll go on a mission if one is available... a dangerous mission, if you're all up to it."

Alec suddenly had another plan in mind. He didn't exactly know how this one would play out, or if it would work. But he would wait and see if the proper situation presented itself. First though, there would be a lot of training to do.

Despite the story that Alec was telling it seemed like all of his students were taking it very well. None of them seemed terrified to find out that their sensei used to be a missing nin and a criminal. None of them seemed to mind at all; in fact if Avery had to guess she would say that they seemed a bit fascinated by the whole ordeal.

Akira mentioned that she too could go back to looking like a Uchiha, and it was a sound idea. She had Uchiha robes, or rather robes with the Uchiha clan symbol on them that she could wear, she had simply chosen not to. She nodded and smiled at the idea.

She watched Alec get up and smiled again before watching the maids bring over sandwiches and cookies and water. Figuring she needed to get washed up, and wanted to give Alec a chance to continue his meeting without her interferring she would walk over to him and place a kiss on his cheek: not wanting to be inappropriate in front of his students. "I'll catch up with you later on. I'm going to go get cleaned up and find Artemis; I'm sure she'll be angry if I don't poke my head in soon." Avery would then wave to the other three before turning and heading into the giant house.

Exit.

Akira told Avery that she too could go back to looking like a Uchiha and Heiwa nodded her head in agreement: there was no point to hide if Avery would be sticking around Kurayamigakure. if Alec would protect them then certainly he would protect Avery too - though, it didn't exactly look like Avery required protecting. It also made Heiwa wonder that if Alec had several tomoe how advanced were Avery's eyes? Had she too gone through her own epic adventures?

Heiwa's roaring stomach was rather distracting, but it didn't seem like they'd have to wait much longer to eat as Alec Kane motioned for the maids on the porch to bring over the food. It looked to be sandwiches, cookies, and water, and it made her stoamch begin to roar again. Avery left as the food arrived, waving goodbye to them, which Heiwa returned. She figured Avery was likely going to go spend time with Artemis and perhaps the others roaming around and catch up.

However, she didn't think on that long as her attention moved to the sandwich she grabbed with a thanks and the cookie in her other hand. She took a bite of the sandwich first, and then after chewing and swallowing this followed it by the cookie. She was exicted once more to hear that Alec was going to teach all of them something new, and then each of them was going to learn something individually: she couldn't even imagine what it was that Alec would teach her. He said then that when that was all done they would go on a mission, a dangerous one. Heiwa played with the idea of what kind of ranked mission it would be while she ate her food in silence with gusto.

As Heiwa finished her sandwich a question popped into her mind and she looked over to Namie hesitantly: Alec had told them a lot about themselves, and she was wondering about her teammates a bit now. "Namie, you don't have to answer this but I was curious: why do not like your family? I mean.. you mentioned your mom was killed and all.. " She almost immediately felt bad for asking, but she couldn't take the question back now that it was out there. Would Namie answer, or would she just ignore her? As Heiwa waited to see she would take a bite of her cookie and chew it slowly.

Alec signaled for his maids to bring them something to eat. When the females brought the tray, Akira didn't hesitate to grab a sandwich, some cookies and a glass of water. Avery seemed to agree with him saying that she should dress like a proper clan member, then gave Alec a kiss before saying she was going to go freshen up and find Artemis, who Akira presumed was their kid. With a mouthful of sandwich Akira waved back when Avery waved to them.

Alec said he was going to teach them all a handy technique, before teaching them all something unique to only them. He also said that he was going to take them on a mission, a dangerous one. There was excitement mixed with a hint of fear at these words, but if the Kage himself was coming along, there was nothing really to be worried about. He wouldn't let anything happen to them, right? Especially with all that he just revealed. He had fully developed Sharingan. He had living clothes that could turn into armor. He had two magical weapons that he'd built himself. He had the ability to see everywhere, at any given time, in this entire country and the next. What could possibly stop him?

Akira finished his sandwich and ate the cookies, then drank down the cup of water, which didn't taste like regular water, but better. "Thank you," he said to the maids while putting the cup back onto the tray. Akira dusted his hands and face of crumbs, then anxiously waited to see what the handy technique that Alec was going to teach them was. With Sharingan, it would be as simple as watching him perform it. Akira pulled both of his fingerless gloves on tighter.

Alec said it was time to get something to eat and then afterward he would teach them all a very handy technique to have, followed then by teaching them each an individual thing. Namie was excited, still wondering what it was they were going to learn. Namie got comfortable in the grass as Avery gave Alec a kiss goodbye and then went to clean up, returning her wave as everyone else did.

She took then some water, a cookie, and a sandwich. "Thanks!" Namie started on the sandwich first, feeling actually pretty hungry after everything that had happened that morning. Just as she was beginning to start on her cookie though Heiwa asked her a question that caused her to pause and stare at the ground for a moment. She hadn't told her story, not the whole thing, and it was something that she felt they should know if they were all going to be working together. Besides, given how much she knew now about her teammates and sensei it seemed hardly fair to keep it bottled up and a secret. Chances were they were going to find out sooner rather than later anyway.

"Um... well. My parents moved here while I was a baby, and I have a younger brother and a young sister as well. My dad had once been a Jounin, and he taught us how to fight in secret: he wanted us to be strong in case those Headband people ever bothered us. Since there was no work around here he would go hire himself out a lot as a mercenary and stay gone for sometimes weeks at a time. Well, I was about ten the last time that happened and my mom was pregnant with a new sibling. My dad told me that since I was the oldest I was in charge, and it was my job to keep my mom and everyone else safe while he was gone. We were okay at first, but about three days before my dad came there was a knock on the door. I looked through the little peep hole like I was taught to do and saw a man covered in blood on the other side. He was begging for my help, and I really thought he was actually hurt. I knew better than to open that door, but I was afraid of what would happen to him when the headband people came around. So I let him in...It was a trap. He let his friends in and they started to rob us. My mom tried to fight back, and chaos ensued. I tried to fight them off, but I couldn't get to my mom in time before they slit her throat. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't save her.. and I had no idea what to do about my little brother or sister inside of her." Name would pause there, what had been a sad look on her face suddenly turning stoney cold: as if she were raising some sort of mental defense to protect herself from what was coming next. "My dad came home three days later. He didn't say a word to me, he just buried her and then went on about life as if everything was normal. Only it wasn't. He'd talk to my brother and sister, give them hugs and stuff, act like a dad you know? But with me? Nothing. It was like I was invisible. Like I had just suddenly stopped existing. He kicked me out a couple months later... Said he couldn't stand looking at me anymore, even turned my brother and sister against me."

"I lived on the streets for a while until one of the madames of the local brothal gave me a choice: I could become one of her girls or protect them since she had seen me fight. I refused to allow anyone to touch me, I decided to become a bodyguard instead. But, when the headband people were gone that meant my job was no longer needed. The madame was talking about kicking me out when a friend of our sensei, Kurai, saw me spray painting a wall. He pulled some strings and got me an apartment in the building he lives in."

Namie took a bite of her cookie then, chewing slowly, and keeping her face as emotionless as possible: she didn't want to feel the pain, she didn't want to acknowledge it was there because it made her angry.

Alec gave Avery a hug with his right arm when she kissed him. He hadn't seen her in a while, and would have to catch up with her properly when time permitted. Knowing Artemis, she would tell her mother the whole story, especially the part where she'd made a bunch of bad guys kill themselves.

He listened to Namie's story with the children after Heiwa asked her about it. It seemed that she'd been through her own fair share of drama here before they'd come along. Someone tricked their way into their home and killed her pregnant mother while she was busy fighting others. Because of such, her father turned against her, as did her siblings. She was forced to live in the streets, and work at a brothel as a bodyguard, and almost as one of the working girls. After he and the others cleaned up Kurayami, the mistress at the brothel saw no more need for her, and she'd have been on the streets again if not for Kurai.

"It isn't your fault your mother was killed," Alec said. "I'm sorry it happened, but don't blame yourself. I'll tell you what... i've already taken in 2 kids who were held captive here, Konran and Jynx. There's more than enough room in that mansion, and Artemis would love to have more company. Both of you are around the same age. I know Kurai set you up with a place already, but why don't you stay here? Something to think about while you train."

Alec would wait until they were finished eating, then send the maids back inside with the glasses and trays. "Alright, let's start the next exercise. The handy move that I said I was going to teach you is Shadow Clone Jutsu, the ability to make living, breathing, solid clones of yourself. Every ninja should know this technique, for when you get surrounded. There will come a time when you'll have to complete a task solo, or infiltrate an enemy stronghold by yourselves. Creating clones will help you finish a task like that easier. You can send a clone ahead to recon an area, and when it disperses itself, all of it's experiences are automatically passed back to you. You can also exploit this to help you train... Now, learning this should be pretty simple for you two, Akira and Heiwa, since all you have to do is watch me. It may take you a little longer to get the hang of it Namie, but from what I hear you're a fast learner. I don't want you to feel that this is a competition, or that you have to live up to these two. Things will come natural to them now that they've awakened their eyes, but i'm sure this isn't something they'll hold over your head. You've all learned the concept of teamwork, stick to it. Watch closely..."

Alec formed the proper hand signs and created 2 clones, both of them appearing on either side of him. Both looked exactly identical to Alec, down to the cloak, the blindfold, and both of his swords."It's really easy to get the hang of. After a few tries, you'll even learn how to send more chakra than usual to clones, to make them stronger. Give it a try, and go easy at first. We don't need you using up all of your chakra."

Shadow Clone Jutsu:

Alec caused his clones to disperse, both of them disappearing in clouds of smoke and blowing off in the winds. Making adjustments to his blindfold he waited to see how the kids would do....
