Squad Two Meets [Miyuki, Suna + Invite | No Kill]

Okami walked down the street, sword tucked in his white rope belt. He wore his usual garb, dressed in the classic high-collared black Uchiha shirt with long white pants and leg wraps. His hair hung halfway down his back in a loose ponytail, and scars littered a handsome face. His Village headband was wrapped loosely around his neck, red silk and steel boldly portraying the fact that he was part of the shinobi forces. He was headed to the Academy, to the classroom that held his new Genin team. Or rather, the one that made it up.

As he arrived at the Academy, and at the door in question, he let loose a sigh. This was going to be interesting. Opening the door, he put on his signature wolfish smile and readied himself for anything to come. This was his team, and he was excited to be its sensei.

Miyuki didn't quite know how she felt about being put on a squad, but she wasn't going to argue with the Harukage. The woman had been generous enough with ensuring that Miyuki had a place to stay and food in her belly - even if those two things went hand in hand with the orphanage she had been put into. Still, it was better than living on the streets. The Harukage had also ensured that she was medical taken care of as well: the girl had arrived half starved to death and with more wounds than the medical staff had been able to count. Oh, she was still littered with scars across her mostly hidden body, but they were healing and in much better condition than they had been.

Speaking of a hidden body; despite the temperature Miyuki was covered nearly head to toe. A black sweater with sleeves that went down to her fingertips and whose hem line went halfway down her thighs was worn over top of a black tank top. This was worn with a pair of leggings that tucked into typical black shinobi sandals. Her weapons pouches were worn around her right leg while her village hitae-ate was worn around her neck. Long red hair was pulled up on a ponytail with bangs left down to cover her face. Her outfit hid the scars that littered her back, legs, and feet, but it wouldn't hide the one that went across her neck.

At the moment the thin and rather frail looking Kamizuki was seated in an empty classroom. However, she wasn't in one of the actual desks but rather at the teacher's desk. Seated comfortably in the padded chair as she waited.

She didn't have to wait long it would seem as the door to the classroom was opened and a grown man was seen in the doorway. Miyuki didn't say anything, she simply focused her attention onto him and waited for him to speak while sinking back a little further into the chair.

"Yo. My name is Okami, and I'll be your mentor and squad leader. You're Miyuki Kamizuki, correct? I read your file. There's a lot of messed up shit there. I'm sorry you had to go through that. If there's anything you'd like to talk about, just let me know, okay?" Okami would say with a smile, trying to get her to relax and open up. She seemed shy, with long, elegant red hair and a scar visible on her neck. According to her file, there was a lot more than just that one on her body. She looked frail, but looks were decieving. She had more than average chakra for her rank, and was a speed fighter, like him. His trained eye could see that, Sharingan or no.

She was fairly covered up, wearing an oversized black sweater that went down her thighs, and a black tank top beneath it. A pair of leggings covered her legs, with equipment pouches worn on her right leg. Her headband was worn around her neck, like Okami's. All in all, she was a pretty little thing, and Okami felt the immediate need to protect her. Damned Uchiha instincts and passions.

"All right, you want to go out to the training yard and work a bit?" Okami would say with another smile after she responded, if she did. He would open the door for her, keeping it open for a moment. He wanted to see where she was at in her training, and have her get more comfortable around him. He found that training together usually did the trick, so that's what he'd do.

The man standing in the doorway introduced himself as Okami and said that he would be her mentor and squad leader. When he asked if she was Miyuki Kamizuki she would not her head yes in response. He said that he had read her file which for a moment made her feel very dirty: especially as he mentioned how there was a lot of 'messed up shit in there': she had had a feeling that the kage kept excellent records even if she would have rather no one known about what had been done to her. He said he was sorry she had to go through all of that, and said that if she ever wanted to talk about it to just let him know. She nodded again, not having a verbal response to that.

When Okami asked if she wanted to go out in the training yard and work a bit she would shrug her shoulders before standing up. She walked out through the door he held open for her and then down the hall - she knew the way well enough by now. She didn't speak, and simply kept herself quiet: she didn't like to talk unless what she had to say was important and so far she had nothing to bring up.

Plus, she figured he would likely have some questions for her, or say something if he wanted to. For now, quietness was simply her way.

Okami shook his head sadly as Miyuki walked out of the room. She was so sullen, so introverted. His decided one of his goals for his new squad was to get her to open up. Following her out to the training yard, he spent a moment to be annoyed. Suna hadn't showed up, and it was annoying that he would be late to their first squad training. From his records, he was a product of clan warfare. It would e interesting to see what sort of abilities he had.

Stopping in the middle of the yard, Okami would spin on his heel, quickly pulling out a single bell. "Well, since we had to wait for the other member of Squad Two, we might as well get to know each other better. I am an Uchiha, and joined the Academy when I was 11. I graduated in 8 months, and became a Jounin when I was 13. Anything else you'd like to know?"

After a year, Suna was finally being assigned to a squad. A Jounin came to his 2 roomed home on the outskirts of Mori to deliver a scroll. The scroll read that he was now a student of a one Okami Uchiha. Uchiha... that emo clan that got stronger from the feels.

Bleh. This was going to happen sooner or later, he knew it, whether he liked it or not. So he took his sweet ass time getting ready. Suna put on his gourd, strapped on his mask extra tight and set out to the academy... to find no one in the classrooms.

"Man this is already startin to suck. They playing hide and seek? I gotta go find them then, huh?"

Suna next walked out of the classroom and then outside. He walked around the grounds with a strut, taking his time, until coming across the training ground with the guy with the scars on his face and the sickly looking girl. That had to be them. He continued walking with his strut and approached his new "Sensei" and "Team mate."

"Yeah, i'm late, whattaya gonna do, right?" he said when he was close. He was a kid of 4 feet, wearing a black body suit underneath a blue vest. He had black elbow pads, black finger less gloves and grey sandals. The kid had on a mask that totally concealed his face with the eye holes blacked out. On his back was a brown gourd. The Mori Headband was tied to the strap of the gourd.

"Suna Hari in the flesh ladies and gents. No autographs, please. Let's get this party started, yeah?"

Her arms would fold automatically across her chest as she came to a stop in the training field; it was a habit she hadn't quite broken. As it was her shoulders would slump in, giving herself the appearance of trying to fold in on herself and disappear: which was what she was trying to do nine out of ten times. This time however it was simply becuase she was uncomfortable with her surroundings: or rather the unknown much older male who was now her sensei. He hadn't given her a reason to think he would harm her, but she was weary around males due to her past, so it was simply a thing she was going to have to get over.

Before she would open her mouth to respond another male would approach whose face was completely covered in what appeared to be a gas mask whose eyes were blacked out. He made a comment about being late and then introduced himself as Suna Hari. He seemed like a big of a joker considering his no autographs comment.

"I'm Miyuki Kamizuki. I didn't go to the Academy... Lady Temaki... learned of what I was... taught. She gave me a test to see where I was at and then placed me on your squad." She was unwilling to go into more detail: calling what had happened 'teaching' had been the nicest and less graphic way to put things. She reached up with her right hand, rubbing at the scar across her throat as if it irritated her.

Okami nodded, understanding where she was coming from. Miyuki had been through hell and back, and had the scars to prove it. Suna, on the other hand, had absolutely no features or experience whatsoever other than being used since birth, and the little bit of experience he had from the Academy. As a Genin level shinobi, he'd have to take missions outside his normal skillset, and if they were to function as a team, they'd have to work together, hence their first test.

"Alright, Miyuki. Suna, I have a little test I'd like to try. You see this bell, right? You guys need to take it from me by force. I will try to keep it from you. Don't worry, I won't kill you. Rather, I'll have the one who doesn't pass the test sent back to the Academy for a year. Use whatever jutsu and equipment you can, and you might pass."

The point of the exercise was simple: If they worked together, they both passed. If they didn't, he really would send the one who failed back to the Academy for more training. From looking at Suna, he could tell immediately that speed was not his strong suit. Rather, he would most likely rely on his physical strength and the sand he reportedly kept in the gourd. Tying the bell around his rope belt, Okami would undo the his collar, revealing his headband. The zipper would stop partway down his chest showing his collarbone. This was on purpose to increase air flow and to remind the students that he was still an elite member of the military. Loosening his finely-crafted katana in it's sheath, he waited for them to make the first move.

Suna tilted his head to the side. Take the bell by force? What the hell was this? Suna tapped the side of his mask twice, to make sure the ear holes were clear, then looked over at the girl, who introduced herself as Miyuki Kamizuki. She was looking about as unwilling to do this as he felt. There was no point behind this at all, he figured.

"You... cannot be serious," said Suna. "...Take the bell from you? From off your waist? What the hell do you take us for, dogs or something? I'm not chasing around a Jounin to try and fetch a damn bell. This has to be some kinda practical joke or something, i'll pass on this. Next? What's next?"

Suna folded his arms. This guy was ranked higher than them, so this meant he was faster and stronger. Suna didn't feel like chasing him around this yard to try and get a dumb bell. He stood his ground and didn't move.

Her brief explanation seemed to be enough to pacify her new sensei, and her teammate didn't ask anything of her. Their sensei started to explain what their first test was going to be and as he did Miyuki felt her blood running cold: what little color her face did have drained completely and she tightened her arms across her chest even more. They had to get a bell off of him? She had to actually get close enough to risk touching him? To risk being touched? She had very little reason to trust men, and no urge to want to touch or be touched by one.

However, just as Miyuki was trying to find a legitimate escape route out of this exercise - she didn't want to get sent to the Academy after all but she certainly didn't want to risk being touched - her new teammate spoke up and her jaw nearly dropped. What he said caused her to blink several times in shock: he was blatantly defying their sensei: refusing to do the exercise. If only Miyuki had balls like that.

How was their sensei going to take this? She had heard Uchiha could have nasty tempers: would he get angry? Would he punish Suna, and perhaps her too? Miyuki doubted she could get the bell herself even if she wanted to: her strength was pure Genjutsu, and given the difference between herself and her sensei she highly doubted her Genjutsu would work on him, not enough to trick him so she could get the bell at least.

'Oh bother...', she thought to herself.

Okami, to his credit, did the last thing that either student expected of their new Sensei; he laughed so hard that he doubled over. Wiping tears form his eyes, he looked at Suna and laughed even harder. The fact that he would openly defy his teacher, someone who could probably kill him in an instant...That took guts. Regaining his composure, he started to speak with a small twinkle in his silvery-gray eyes.

"Suna, you could just go back to the Academy for a year, you know. Maybe by then there'll be another Jounin that's a bit more suited for your style. However, you'll still have to learn the same lesson. They just might not go about it in as direct a fashion as I do. All you have to do is get the bell. Simple and elegant. There are a million different ways to do just that. Find one!"

Oh no, Okami wasn't letting them out of this one. Well, not Suna, at least. He dug that hole himself. Miyuki, on the other hand, seemed to be reluctant to do this. It read in her file that she distrusted males, and that was probably something to do with it. He wouldn't force her if she asked. He had also noticed that she hadn't brought a lunch, and was at an orphanage. He made a mental note to buy her some food later, maybe dinner. She deserved better than what she had. His smile faded just a touch as he looked at her sullen frame, then brightened again. Dinner would be a good start to getting her to open up, definitely.

Suna, while looking reluctant, was belligerent. He was headstrong, obviously, but had gotten good marks in the Academy. Together, they could definitely pull this off.

The guy laughed. He laughed pretty hard. Given the reputation of the Uchiha, Suna expected him to get all red eyed and rage mode. Uchiha were real big of the feels after all. While it was true that this guy could kill him in a second if he wanted, Suna didn't think he was really as stupid as he looked. Kill a Genin? Then risk getting blown into bloody bits by Temaki the Explosive Queen? Sure thing, coach.

"Back to the academy? Fine with me, coach. I could use the holiday! Save me the trouble of having to do some pointless training exercise for 365 days. This seriously how they train the newbies in academys? Fetch the bell, good boy, champ!... If i'da known this I woulda stayed in the desert!"

Suna looked at Miyuki and noticed that she was getting pale, adding to her overall sickly look. "Say, why the hell do you even have her out here like this, coach? She looks like she needs a nurse! And you're trying to make her fetch a bell?" Suna tilted his head again. "Hey Miyuki, I wouldn't blame ya if you headed back to the Academy. Temaki's gotta find some kinda use for us, right? I mean, I was trained to kill since the time I could walk, not chase after bells, and you... you gotta have something that makes you stand out, right? I'm gonna guess Ninjutsu or illusions, am I warm or cold?"

Suna made adjustments to the strap that held his gourd as he turned and began to head back towards the classrooms. "So yeah, it's been fun and all coach, but if it's really back to the academy for a year it's no sweat off my gourd! Hey, Miyuki! Maybe i'll see ya in class, yeah? Later, ladies and germs!"

Suna waved behind him as he moved back towards the academy buildings. There had to be something else the higher ups could have him do besides chase bells. Maybe he'd go meet Temaki in person himself. He was a trained killer, not an animal. These childish exercises made absolutely no sense to him.

Despite Suna blatantly saying that he wasn't going to do the exercise all their sensei did was laugh. Miyuki had been expecting him to get angry, maybe even hand out some punishments. Yet, he hadn't. All he had done was laugh and then explain that all they had to go was get the bell and there were a million different ways to do it. Their sensei seemed unwilling to let this training exercise go: a training exercise that Miyuki was sure she knew the point behind.

Miyuki was about to just bow out, to claim that she wasn't feeling good and hope that it was enough to get her out of the exercise when Suna once more spoke up. He said that going back to the Academy was fine by him. He said he'd prefer it because it would save him from some pointless training exercise.

When Suna asked her about her specs she nodded her head. "Mostly Genjutsu, and very little Ninjutsu.", she would respond. She then watched as Suna turned and looked like was just going to go ahead and walk off. Her jaw actually did drop this time around, and she looked between their sensei and Suna, wondering if Okami Uchiha was going to actually let him just walk away like he was.

Well, then. The Uchiha temper really began to flare then, at that moment. Moving faster than their eyes could see,  Okami would slash once, twice, then press that flat of his blade against Saru's throat as his gourd and mask fell to the ground, the straps cut. Saru's age was covered in scars, reportedly from an accident involving sand and glass.

"So, you do have distinguishing features...Well, when I say a year, that's if you are a prodigy. In reality, it'll probably  take you six. Humor me on this. There IS a point behind this, even if you don't see it. Use those skills you are so proud of, and you might get the bell, right?"

Being in charge of the security of his village was a wonderful thing. He was literally able to do as he wished without having to answer to anyone, save for his wife. And even then, he was not worried. For example, killing that traitor a few days so? His punishment was to cook her dinner, and give her a foot rub.

Tem trusted Rin's judgment on almost every situation, and would continue to do so. Thus, why she trusted him to check up on a few people that he had in mind.

Miyuki, the young girl gifted with Genjutsu, but with the troubled past.

Suna Hari, a young man who showed the promise of skill, but also possessed quite the mouth on him.

And then there was Okami, the jounin who'd gone to Kuraiyami and acted a fool. This particular persona was more cringeworthy; he and Rin shared the same gene pool, even if it was distant.

Quite an intersting mix of people. He could see why Tem wanted him to keep an eye on them; it was seemingly a volatile mix. This is why he was leaning against the trunk,  perched in a nearby tree, quietly listening in on their conversation. He was amused greatly be the exchange, particularly from Suna. However, the more he listened, the more he began to frown a bit.

“"Suna, you could just go back to the Academy for a year, you know. Maybe by then there'll be another Jounin that's a bit more suited for your style.”

Did he really just say that? Jounin were assigned their squads for a reason; they were chosen for their students because there was no other matches for them. For him to refuse a squad was unacceptable. For the moment, Rin would remain silent; but he made a mental note to speak to Tem about Okami's mannerisms.

"So yeah, it's been fun and all coach, but if it's really back to the academy for a year it's no sweat off my gourd! Hey, Miyuki! Maybe i'll see ya in class, yeah? Later, ladies and germs!"

Well, this wouldn't do. Suna giving up meant that he would have to sit idle until another Sensei was found; which there was an extreme lack of currently. As Rin began to hop out the tree and intercept Suna so that he could not leave, something caught his eye – was Okami unsheathing a weapon? Even at this distance, his eyes could pick out the movements, even without his Sharingan active, and began to react accordingly. From his hip pack, the male drew a Kunai and threw it with great force and speed. He knew how this would play out; his fighting style demanded that he knew this stuff.

The kunai would impact the ground between Okami and Suna just before Okami could begin his first step. As it did, a strange item would appear on Rin's free hand, blade emerge and ready.

There was no time to waste; Rin would appear without any notice, save for the Kunai appearing between the two, free hand moving and intercepting the drawing arm while his gloved one pressed the blade that emerged from it to Okami's neck. “If you even breathe too hard, I will make your neck smile.”

As Suna strutted off with a jolly bounce in his step, beginning to whistle a merry little tune, he could hear some commotion behind him. He turned to look back to see someone appear out of thin air, as Okami looked to be about to rush towards Suna with the intention of drawing that sword of his. Instead though, there was a crazy looking kunai on the ground, and another man appeared in a flash. With one hand he intercepted Okami's arm he used to draw his sword, and with his other arm he put some kind of gloved blade to his neck.

“If you even breathe too hard, I will make your neck smile,” the new guy said.

"..."

Suna was in shock. It froze him in place for several moments, but soon this shock turned into anger. Rage. Had Okami meant to kill him? It certainly looked so. It appeared that his life had been saved at that moment by this strange individual who apparently could teleport. Suna would have to swallow his pride and thank the guy sometime later, but for now... there was rage.

"So, let your anger get the best of you and decided to kill the little Genin, didja?" Suna asked, turning around again. "Big bad Jounin! So big and bad he has to display his almighty powers to a mere Genin! I seriously didn't think you were stupid enough to let a little smack talk piss you off to the point where you would try to kill me, but I was wrong! YOU ARE pretty stupid!... And you're also a dead man. You hear me?" Suna pointed an index finger at him. "You're a DEAD MAN. Once I get strong enough, i'm gonna come find you, scarface. The last thing you'll see is the 50 pounds of SAND that gonna erupt from your ASS!"

Then, Suna would turn around and continue walking off. "Mark my words and cherish the rest of the days you have left on this Earth before I come for you."

"Wha... what?", her voice broke as in shock she watched the series of events that had just taken place. Their sensei had been about to react in some physical manner to Suna, clearly, only to be stopped by another individual whom now had some sort of strange blade to their sensei's throat. Where had he come from? Had this new arrival been watching them the entire time? And if so, why?

Miyuki couldn't believe it. She had been weary about this whole situation, weary about having to be around people she didn't know. She had done it because she hadn't wanted to disrespect Temaki by trying to refuse, but this was a prime example of what she had been terrified to see happen. Though, at the same time she was also amazed: this new individual had arrived out of nowhere. Had actually teleported. That was the skill of a true shinobi: of someone high ranked. It was something she wanted to learn when she got strong enough: which meant she was going to do a lot of training.

Miyuki was knocked out of her thoughts by the feeling of strong anger due to her natural telepathic abilities. Suna was pissed off, and she could understand why. He began to yell at their sensei, saying that he was a dead man. That when he got strong enough he'd be back, that he would fine him. Then Suna turned and went back to walking off. Miyuki looked between her sensei and this new individual and then to Suna, contemplating if she too should leave.

"Maybe.. maybe I should leave too...", she thought to herself.

"Rin-sama, so glad to see you here. I was just going to stop him from leaving by slashing off that mask of his. You and I both know that I am not currently at liberty to relieve this team of duty. This was meant to be an exercise in teamwork. Suna has obviously failed, meaning that we would have to work on that. I would never have actually killed him. Temaki-sama would never forgive me if I did." Okami said, letting his katana fall back with a decisive clack. He wasn't afraid of the blade pressed to his neck. A small line of blood trickled down his neck as he spoke. Smiling with that wolfish grin of his, Okami would wait for Rin to rake the blade away from his throat.

"So, let your anger get the best of you and decided to kill the little Genin, didja?" Suna asked, turning around again. "Big bad Jounin! So big and bad he has to display his almighty powers to a mere Genin! I seriously didn't think you were stupid enough to let a little smack talk piss you off to the point where you would try to kill me, but I was wrong! YOU ARE pretty stupid!... The last thing you'll see is the 50 pounds of SAND that gonna erupt from your ASS!"

Suna was pissed, and rightfully so; given the appeances. How could one be expected to react when someone they were supposed to trust their lives with attacked them?

"Rin-sama, so glad to see you here. I was just going to stop him from leaving by slashing off that ma--”

“Not. Another. Fucking. Word.” Anger rolled off of Rin in crashing waves. This was beyond bullshit. He'd have to inform Tem of this situation. For the meantime, it would be best to get these kids out of the area. If this thing went south, they would be collateral.

“Both of you; go see Tem. This team is dismissed for the moment.” He spoke through gritted teeth, clearly speaking to Suna and Miyuki. He was pissed, more so that he should have seen this shit happening at some point. This was indeed a volatile mix; perhaps he would need to rearrange the active duty listings to find these two a new sensei.

For the moment, Rin would remain silent, awaiting to see if the two genin would follow his orders and leave. Once they'd departed the area, Rin would glare at Okami then speak to him again. “You are hereby relieved of your duty as a shinobi, Okami, pending an investigation. You WILL return to your home and remain there until you are summoned to speak before the Kage and a council of your peers.” Fire blazed within Rin's eyes, indicationing that he was completely serious. “We clear?”

Apparently Okami had intended on using his weapon against Suna by his own admittance: he had intented on removing the mask from his face. Suna likely had a reason he wore it, and probably would have been even angrier had that happened. He went on to say that he never would have actually killed Suna, because Temaki would have been upset with him. Miyuki didn't really know how to take all of that. She very much wanted to follow Suna's example and leave, and it seemed that chance would be given to her.

She was already beginning to feel the effects of being scared: she didn't like this situation and wanted no parts of it. Fighting back what would likely become an attack of past members she focused her attention on Rin when it became clear he was speaking to her and the retreating Suna. She nodded once to his words and then turned and ran: she didn't want to be anywhere nearby if two Jounin level ninja were about to start fighting - no, she wouldn't need told twice to leave.

OOC Note: Rin, you were not invited to this thread, not do you have the authority to enter it. I am NOT a visitor to Mori, I am a full Jounin. I don't appreciate you interrupting what was meant to be a fun environment with this...bullshit, for lack of a better term. I had the situation under control, and this is labelled a No Kill and Invite Only thread. I was the one that labelled it such, so I would not break that ruling. If you had read my post, you would know that Okami means no harm to either of his new Genin. There was and is no reason for you to interfere like that. I tried to work with it, attempting to defuse the situation you caused, but you have been unreasonable in character. Temaki would have given me a team for a reason, and she must trust that I would do right by them. Hell, she IS RPing as one of them. I understand you killing off Luke, and honestly it was a bit funny to read, but I would rather not have a situation like that blew up to be. Thank you for reading this.

You attacked a Genin as an A ranked jounin, whether your intention was to kill him or not, thus the reason for him interfering
You claim to be privy to information about Suna that you wouldn't know under normal circumstances
When ANBU brought him back to Mori, he wouldn't have told the entire story, only specific details
Whereas you supposedly know every little detail about him
Just because it's on his profile doesn't mean everyone has access to that knowledge
Furthermore you attempted the bell exercise with a female who is primarily genjutsu
And a sand user who is mid to long range
You are faster than them both, and have the perception to see everything coming
Meaning it was fruitless, and only a means to display your superiority over them
So please, check yourself before you call yourself checking anyone else

OOC: I did not attack Suna with the intent to kill. There is definitely ways for them to complete the bell test, since the only point is to show teamwork , even if you don't get the bell. Rin is not labelled as ANBU, and I was under the impression that Karukaya was the only ANBU in Mori, and he is not active on that character. If he had read my post and left well enough alone, then it would have been fine. IF Temaki was incorrect when an said Karu was the only ANBU, then I digress, but since it does not say so on the page, he is not ANBU.

Uchiha temper flaring to high heaven, Okaaki calmed himself down, knowing that Temaki would believe him. Blinking once, he activated his Sharingan to drive his point home further with the next thing he said, before he left. "Rin, I swear by our shared blood it isn't what it seems."

After walking away, he would go to the great rowan tree that held his home, past the blue Tien Lung head in the foyer,  into the kitchen. He began making some ramen, traditionally. He had enough time in his hands to do both that and clean his new blade, Kusanagi, after all.
