Like usual Temaki was in her office and pouring over paperwork. This time around, however, she was nearly done. It was about five o'clock in the afternoon and she was looking forward to being able to get out of the office in a timely manner. She had ensured that all of that day's paperwork was done and completed, and that her In Box was empty while her Out Box was full and waiting for her secretary to come in and snatch up the last remaining stack of papers that needed to be filed, sent, and otherwise handled.

Her two large ninken, the all white female, and the red and orange colored male, were sprawled out on their overly large dog beds - special made given the fact that both of the wolves were the size of horses. Temaki's kage robes and hat hung on a peg nearby and she was in her usual blue tank top, black pants, and black shinobi sandals with her rainbow colored hair making her stick out fairly easily.

The double heavy wooden doors to her office were propped open, as were the large bay windows behind her so that there was a constant comfortable breeze as well as the smell of fresh air. Her office was furnished comfortably: her desk a large and heavy oak thing with many claw and scratch marks some new and some old. A matching padded chair, and several chairs in front of her desk as well. There were couches along the wall, as well as pictures her daughter her drawn plastered all over the place, along with family photos. It was a comfortable space, and Temaki would have it no other way.

As the Harukage finished signing her last piece of paper she threw it into the Out Box with a flourish and grinned from ear to ear. "Excellent, finished."

Pissed. Still. Suna didn't think he'd ever been this angry. Was this really how this village system worked? He wasn't going to just let this ride. Either they were going to turn him loose, or he'd leave. He heard about Missing Nins and all that, but that didn't scare him much, even though they had people who could disappear and reappear out of thin air.

The receptionist downstairs directed the furious Sabure towards the office of Temaki the Kage. He made his way to her office and barged his way in.

"So you're Temaki, right?" he asked, walking into the office. He stopped walking after so far to see the biggest dogs he'd ever seen in his life. What the hell did she feed those things? Who had the unfortunate job of cleaning the poop?.... Anyway, that wasn't important right then. "How do I resign, I want out of here. Let me go. I don't feel safe in this village anymore. That scarface Uchiha tried to kill me, and would have if that other guy with the funny kunai and the wrist blade didn't appear from thin air and stop him. All because I was cracking jokes! All because I didn't fetch a stupid bell! Now I feel like I have to hurry up and get strong and kill him before he kills me!"

The gourd on his back was moving around as the sand within moved and churned with his anger and rage. "Then I get told I have to go back to that stupid academy for a whole other year, and if I graduate again I have to do that dumb exercise with the bell, again! Me and that girl Miyuki! She looked like she was about to pass out. It's stupid! I was trained to be a killer, not this crap! Is this how all these villages work? If it is i'll gladly go back to my torn down village with my dead parents!"

He really, truly wanted to give this village thing a go. He wanted to try being a normal shinobi in a hidden village. If this is how it was, then he began to think that he'd made a mistake. There wasn't any jokes or sarcastic lines now; now he was serious.

".... Well, TemTem. Sounds like you've got your hands full.", Emiko would remark as she stepped in to the Harukage's office. She didn't bother knocking, nor did she bother calling Temaki some form of Harukage, Lady, or any of that rot. Their friendship being what it was, and the Harukage knowing about her past, there was little to no need for the formality: besides, she knew Temaki hated it with a passion since she considered herself equal to everyone else.

As Emiko entered she would bring with her the smell of blood, though she was impecably dressed with pristine white hair. No, it wasn't her attire that was causing this odor but the large gourd she carried on her back. Around the goard of sand was wrapped a red sash which went down across her chest and then around her waist. The sand itself was shifting and moving within the gourd, stirring up the smell of the blood of her fallen enemies.

She would come to a stop about ten feet from Temaki's desk, and roughly six feet to the right of Suna. After folding her arms across her chest she would look from Temaki to Suna and then back again. "Seems I came back to the village just in time. Someone want to fill me in as to why we have rage quitting Genin? Or am I to assume this has something to do with your husband, Rin, and that other Uchiha named Okami? Saw a bit of a confrontation when I was coming to find you."

Temaki's right eye twitched when she realized that her calm and peaceful day was about to go to hell. She hadn't expected anything of this sort to pop up just as she was preparing to leave her office, but she wasn't going to brush Suna to the side just because she wanted to leave. She cared about her people, every last one of them, and if he had a problem she would hear him out and try and solve it. As it was, she didn't want to see him quit, nor return to the hellish place he had come from.

Before she could open her mouth to reply Emiko was appearing, one of her best friends and someone she hadn't seen in quite a while since the Sannin liked to travel a lot. She looked between the pair, clearly Emiko knew more of what was going on then Temaki had considering she had spent the past several hours doing paperwork. Right, time to catch up. "You saw a confrontation between Okami and my husband Rin?", Temaki sighed and then would focus her attention on to Suna.

"Calm down, Suna. Explain to me first what happened in detail. I don't like hearing you don't feel safe in this village; I make it my job to ensure all of my people are safe and you are counted among them. So, if someone is upsetting that, then they will be dealt with. Now, what happened? I'm assuming this has something to do with that squad of yours given you mentioned Miyuki? Also I don't send Genin back to the Academy for punishment, nor do I allow others to do so. Now, you said someone tried to kill you, do you mean your sensei? Or someone else?" Temaki genuinly was concerned, and it showed on her face. She was also angry, however, upon hearing that someone had tried to kill one of her genin, which would be noticable by the increase in the explosive smell around her. Her wolves likewise were awake, heads up, ears perked up and alert: they too were ready to react. "Do you require medical attention? Emiko here is one of the finest medics I know, if so."

(Current Word Count = 2047)

A female walked in with white hair. He couldn't smell the blood because of his mask. Suna started to look away but noticed that she had a gourd that looked a lot like his. She called Temaki "Tem Tem" so he figured they were friends. Who was she? Was she part of his clan, the Sabure? She mentioned Okami, and someone else, Temaki's husband Rin, who had to be the guy who teleported in and saved his sandy butt.

Temaki told him to explain what happened in detail. "Detail... A messenger showed up to my house with a scroll that said I was now a student to an Okami Uchiha. I show up and there's this girl there, named Miyuki. I think she was supposed to be my squad mate. Scarface pulls out this bell, ties it to his waist and tells us to try and take it from him."

Suna pulled his finger less gloves on tighter. "I don't see the point in it, it's dumb. This guy has to be like, blinding fast, and he has that sword. To top that off he's one of those emo Uchiha with the eyes that see everything. Miyuki looked like she was about to pass out. I refused to try getting some stupid bell from him, and he said I had to go back to the academy for another year. I said no sweat and went to walk away, then he draws that funky looking sword and went to charge me. That's when Rin - he's your husband? The guy who can appear from thin air? - stepped in and stopped him. If he didn't come along I don't think i'd be standing here right now."

Suna made fists. It irritated him to no end that so soon after graduating the academy, and attempting to fit into an actual village after 13 years of shit that he'd come so close to being killed over a stupid bell. "So if this is how you guys operate, i'm gone. Sayonara. I'll go off and get strong my own way, and then i'm gonna come back here and kill that guy. He's dead meat. For now i'm not gonna stay somewhere where some emo weido with a fascination with bells is lurking around some corner waiting to stab you with a funky sword. Thanks but no thanks."

Suna was turning around as he said this, and walking back towards the door when he finished talking. He had some things to grab, then he was out of here...

Last but not least he said while he was walking off: "Oh and by the way, with the way he was staring at Miyuki, I think he's also a child molester! You might wanna keep an eye on her!"

Emiko listened to Suna's story in silence. She kept her arms folded across her chest and shifted her weight to one leg in a comfortable sort of way. Several times throughout his story she would look from him to Temaki, trying to judge the Harukage's reaction to the information the Genin was providing. Surely something like this wasn't going to sit well with the rainbow haired female. Temaki was beastly protective over her people, Emiko knew this all too well.

"The bell technique is supposed to show you that you and your teammate won't get nearly as much done alone as you would working together. It's supposed to show you that sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the good of the team: to put the team before yourself. It's a trick most sensei pull at some point. However, in a squad with long ranged fighters as most Sabure tend to be it's rather pointless, especially against a Jounin.", Emiko would say thoughtfully.

She would glance then at Temaki, hoping she wasn't stepping on the Harukage's toes with what she was going to say next: surely Temaki didn't want to lose one of her Genin, right? "I'll tell you what. Why don't I take you on to be my student? I don't normally take a squad because I like to travel, but if my skills could be useful here then I'll do it... I know you don't know me, nor have a reason to trust me, especially considering what you just went through. But, I'm a Sabure like I can tell you are, so we at least share some of the same skills. Plus, I'm not going to make you play fetch the bell. You could go off and train yourself for this revenge you're seeking, or you could train under me. The choice is yours, I won't force you."

She would look towards Suna's back as she spoke, wondering if her words would cause him to turn around, wondering if he would accept her offer, or if he would simply keep going. "I'll take on that Miyuki girl, too..."

"... Mother fucker." It wouldn't surprise her if Rin hadn't murdered Okami over this. Given her husband was the clan head of the Uchiha's that tended to mean that dealing with the members in general made them his responsibility. Rin had already taken someone's life just a few days prior, would he take Okami's too? She would have to go see what was going on herself...

She didn't like hearing that someone had been about to attack one of her Genin, though she was glad she had sent Rin to keep an eye on Suna and Miyuki and to check on them like she had. Who knew what would have happened had he not been there? Thankfully Suna was unharmed, although it was clear he was pissed off. She didn't know what to say to convince him to stay, she didn't even know if she could convince him at this point given how pissed off he was. However, it seemed that Emiko was willing to take a chance at it by offering to take him under her wing. If anyone could help the kid then it would be her: Emiko was highly skilled, and very dangerous. But, she had a good head on her shoulders, and would offer excellent training. Emiko even went so far as to offer to take on Miyuki.

"If Uchiha Okami is still alive when I go and find Rin I'll ensure I have a talk with him, you can mark my words on that. I don't take kindly to my people being threatened, nor so I take kindly to Genin being put in such a position. He will be dealt with. As far as your revenge... I won't stop you. Lord knows I'd be wasting my time to try. Emiko here is a Sabure like you, if anyone can teach you how to wield your power to maximum effect its her. She's one of the strongest people in the village. I won't force you to be somewhere you don't want to be Suna, but I suggest you give her a shot. Don't let one bad situation ruin things for you."

Temaki went silent then, wanting to give Suna a chance to make up his mind for himself. She wouldn't force him to do something he didn't want to, and she wouldn't force him to stay if he wanted to leave. That wouldn't be fair, nor would that be right. As far as Miyuki went? She would have to talk to Okami later, and get his side of the story too. Plus, she'd also need to speak with her husband. Miyuki was a delicate matter: the girl was mentally broken, and physically broken too, and Temaki was beginning to feel that perhaps a squad wasn't the right place for her - at least not a large one.

(Current Word Count = 2533)

Suna would have kept on moving, but his legs seemed to stop on their own. He was being offered something he would be stupid to just pass up. The woman with the white hair - Temaki called her Emiko - was offering to be the new coach. She said the bell thing was supposed to foster team work, to see who'd put their own thing aside for the good of the team. So, the way he saw it, he was supposed to dance around with scarface while Miyuki went for the bell. With the way that girl was looking, that wasn't going to happen. Add that on to the fact that she didn't do physical stuff at all. Overall it was still a dumb exercise.

Emiko, a Sabure like he was, half, anyway, said she didn't really do squads since she was a traveler, but she could teach him things about the clan and their techniques that he'd otherwise spend forever figuring out on his own. Emiko said she didn't do the stupid bell thing, which was probably the main thing that made him stop moving. Emiko said she'd accept Miyuki too, meaning he wouldn't have to worry about the emolester getting his lobster claws on her.

Temaki sounded and looked pretty angry, and glancing back, he could see those 2 dogs put their heads up looking alert. Maybe they could understand what was being said. if it weren't for his mask, Suna would probably be able to smell the fragrance of something just blown up. She said she was going to talk to Okami if Rin hadn't killed him - which would suck since that's what he planned on doing once he was strong enough - and that she didn't condone A ranked Jounin trying to attack lowly Genin. She said sending someone back to the academy was a no-no; they didn't do that. Suna didn't see what talking was going to do. She vouched for Emiko, saying she was one of the strongest in the village, and if anyone could get him ready for revenge it was her.

She also said she wasn't going to stop him from leaving if he wanted, nor would she stop him from putting emolester's lights out. So, yeah. Stay here and be turned into a super sand by Emiko, or, leave, and go about the process himself which would probably take years.

Suna turned around and remained in the office. "Gotta admit, I never met another Sabure who wasn't only interested in results and battle performance, and I never got the chance to learn some real sand techniques. So... if you're serious about not having to fetch bells, and you don't try to kill your student just because you can't take a joke, then ... sure, coach.... sign me up."

Temaki didn't voice an issue with her taking Suna on as one of her students, though she didn't respond when it came to Miyuki. Emiko knew better than to push the kage's buttons - she would make a decision and let Emiko know when she was ready. Either way someone was going to be dealt with later on, though she had a feeling Temaki wasn't going to actually kill Okami, but likely give him an ear full.

Emiko grinned a bit, golden eyes twinkling in the light from Temaki's office. "Let's just say me and the rest of our clan, at least the branch I belong to, have never really seen eye to eye. I'm definitely not your average Sabure. But, I'll tell you about that later. I also have absolutely no intentions of trying to harm you. The tasks i put in front of you won't be easy, but my overall goal is to make you stronger, not kill you."

Emiko then would nod to the clock hanging on Temaki's office wall before looking back to Suna. "I just came home, so I need to unpack some of my stuff. Since you're uninjured why don't we meet in two hours time in training ground 15. Make sure you eat something beforehand, you'll need your strength and energy for what I'm going to be showing you."

She would then turn her attention back to Temaki. "Send Miyuki my way if that's what you choose. Either way... considering what's been described today, and what I know of the girl, it seems like she'll likely not go back to Okami willingly."

So, Suna was going to stick around provided that Emiko didn't try and make him fetch a bell nor attempt to kill him. Given what Temaki knew of her good friend that wasn't likely going to happen. Emiko was giving Suna two hours to go get something to eat and prepare: apparently whatever she had to teach him was going to require a lot of energy and strength. It was good to know that Emiko already seemed to have a game plan in mind for him.

Temaki thought of what Emiko said about Miyuki and nodded. "You know the girl well enough, Emiko. You know what was done to her. I highly doubt after Okami's display that she'll go back to him willingly either: from what Suna has made it sound like she was scared even before the display he put on. However, she might require some convincing to be willing to work with another squad. Perhaps if she sees Suna here growing stronger under your guidiance she'll be willing to try again. I don't want to push her into something and scare her worse than she is."

She would then look towards Suna with a small smile. "If you wouldn't mind perhaps you could share your experience with Emiko with Miyuki. Miyuki has been through... an ordeal. It's why she was acting as scared as she is. It's not my place to really give away the girl's private information but let's just say she went through three years of hell until she was rescued."

From what Emiko was saying, the Sabure clan didn't have the best of reputations, and didn't really come off as a loving family. Emiko said she wasn't going to try and hurt him, and while the things she had planned for him were going to be hard, the goal was to make him stronger. She said to meet in training ground 15 in a couple of hours. "I-I captain," was Suna's answer.

Her and Temaki were saying that Miyuki wasn't going to go back to sacrface. She'd have to be a fool to do that, he had the hots for her. Suna saw the look in his eye. Temaki said that Suna should tell her his screwed up history in order to convince her to come in, and that she'd been through something herself. That was obvious, and Suna knew it had something to do with guys.

He had no plans of asking her though, and didn't know how he felt about telling his own fucked up story of how he was trained to be nothing but a weapon for the first 13 years of his life. Suna was trying to move away from that now that all of that scum was dead, and the village was wiped off the map.

"I don't really like doing flashback episodes, coaches, but we'll see what happens when we return after these commercial messages," Suna said, again turning to walk out of the office and head home for the time being. Suna was heard humming a tune as he made his way out of the Great tree and towards his 2 roomed abode...

Suna seemed on board with meeting her in a few hours time to begin their training, and Emiko already knew what was going to be first on the list of things to be taught. So, figuring she needed to get cleaned up, put her stuff away, and get prepared she gave Temaki a bow of her head after Suna left. "I think I'm going to take off. I want to get my stuff unpacked and get ready for Suna's first lesson. If you need me you know how to find me."

Emiko would wait to see if Temaki had anything else to add and if not she would turn and walk out of the room the way she came, taking with her the smell of sand and blood.

Suna was going to accept Emiko's as his sensei, and Emiko was going to ensure that if and when Suna sought revenge he was as strong as possible. Knowing Emiko she was going to want to do some traveling with the kid and that was perfectly fine for her: sometimes you had to travel to learn new things, to learn things that your own village couldn't offer you. Temaki fully believed that was why Emiko herself was as strong as she was. Plus, adventures like that were always fun, so that was a thing too.

After Suna and Emiko left Temaki sent a bit of chakra into the seal on her desk, effectively activating it. The seal would cause her large heavy oak doors to shut and lock so that no one else could enter. Only her friends and most trusted advisors used her windows, everyone else followed proper protocol, and right now she needed a bit of a break. A lot had been going on recently and the Harukage was beginning to feel stressed. A stressed Harukage was like a nuclear warhead ready to go off at the slightest ping. That wasn't good for anyone.

With a soft sigh Temaki sat back in her chair, placed her elbows on the arm rests, and then brought her fingertips together. She closed her eyes and just started to breath in deeply and exhale slowly.... calming down so that she could truly think of what she wanted to do about this whole situation. She still needed to get Okami's side of the story before she passed any sort of judgement. She had no idea what sort of punishment her husband Rin had already handed out, but if Okami was still alive it was safe to say he was likely on house arrest until Temaki got her hands on the situation. What to do? The situation was going to have to be handled properly....
