The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] Empty
PostSubject: The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill]   The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] EmptyWed Jan 27, 2016 12:53 pm

Muninn walked about in the Village of Kurayamigakure, making his way north to what appeared to be the Administration Building. It would be better to meet the Kuraikage there, as he was likely already being watched by someone, if not the Kuraikage himself. Opening his bag, he would throw on his Kage cloak and hat, trimmed in a deep forest green and marked with the word "Tree". Various trees and shrubs marked the edge of the haori, with the words "Fourth Harukage" on the back. He had seen the design in an old text about the Kage of old, and had modified it to suit himself. Since he only had his right arm and basically what amounted to a left shoulder, the left sleeve hung limp at his side. Other than that, he wore a black button-up shirt underneath, with a pair of gray pants and black shinobi sandals. He figured that it would be best if everyone knew who he was, instead of having to wait for verification. He had a double edged mission here, as well. He had heard reports of Chiho, the missing Genin from his team, that said that she had left the country. She hadn't been in Sabakugakure, and it was unlikely that she had returned to Umigakure considering why she left, so that left here. He honestly hoped he found her, not because he wanted to bring her back, but because he wanted to apologize for putting her on a team with two screw-ups, one of whom was now dead.

The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill]   The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] EmptyWed Jan 27, 2016 1:49 pm

"Someone is in the village. He looks like he could be a Kage.  Black hair, white tips. Two different color eyes. He only has one arm."

"I know," responded Alec into the party line. "I saw the whole thing in Sabaku, and watched him travel here. He's expected, let him through."

Demi was here on this continent. Like clockwork, Jr showed up next, and had announced his arrival by killing Luke Yasenha. There was no doubt about him being dead now, and Alec was able to see that his son's infamous temper hadn't changed any.

This new Harukage was now here, alone. He was either brave, or stupid. It would be too easy to rub him out at this point. Alec decided to at least hear with this man, Muninn Senju, had to say, before he came to a concrete decision on whether or not he would take his village from him.

A tall man walked towards Muninn. He was dressed in a black robe-like cloak. This tall man had shoulder length white hair and a blindfold over his eyes, yet with the way he carried himself it was as if he wasn't blinded at all. There was a glowing katana at his left side. There was a polished black stick in his left hand.

Normally, Alec wore a sarcastic grin on his face, but there was no expression there now. Villagers out on the streets all knew him and spoke to him. Alec spoke and waved back, but kept "looking" towards Muninn.

"Muninn Senju... looks like you need a hand," Alec said, coming to a stop a distance away from him. Yes, Alec knew who he was, through correspondence with Holeman. With their abilities to look into other countries, and Holeman's ability to read lips, he knew everything that had happened. "Figuratively, seeing as you have two maniacs loose in Morigakure... and literally. Anyway, what brings you to Kurayamigakure today?"

The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill]   The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] EmptyWed Jan 27, 2016 2:36 pm

Muninn watched as the Kuraikage walked up to him. Just as reports said, he was fairly young-looking, seemingly around Muninn's age in fact, with a blindfold wrapped around his head of white hair to cover his eyes. He didn't move like he was blind, however, which was fairly strange, but the Harukage had seen stranger. He seemed to know who Muninn was, so Okami's report of his ability to seemingly see and hear everything had some grain of truth to it. Likely it was some form of sensory ability from the reports, but it would be rude to pry. He was tall, with a black cloak on and a staff in his left hand. Along his side was a katana that oozed white mist. His face was void of expression, but his voice seemed sarcastic at first, speaking of Muninn "needing a hand". It was true, and Muninn even laughed at the pun. Smiling wide, he would speak to the Kuraikage as an equal, just as he spoke to everyone else.

"Hello. You are Alec Kane, the Kuraikage, correct? I've heard a lot about you, and it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm here for a couple of different reasons, the first being the treaty you set up with my predecessor. I wanted to know if you still wished to uphold the alliance between our countries after Temaki-sama's retirement. Also, I wish to invite you to Morigakure for a Kage Summit. I have already spoken to the Arenokage, Emiko Sabure, and she has agreed to come and thinks it is a splendid idea, considering we have several Kage that stepped down recently. Is there someplace we could hash out details?" Muninn would say with a smile, before his face grew somber. He would then speak in a lower tone, his happy attitude and baritone voice both lowering an octave. "I...I was also wondering if you'd heard anything about a Chiho from the Dovahkiin clan. She was to be one of my students, but seemed to have a disagreement with the squad she was to be put on. She didn't show up, and I've been worried about her ever since. She had left Umigakure because she didn't feel appreciated, so she wouldn't return there, and I didn't see her in Sabakugakure, so chances are she's either here or in Yasei...She isn't in any trouble, I just want to make sure she's okay and apologize. One of her would-be teammates, Luke Yasenha, was killed by one of your children, in fact. He deserved it, and I was going to do it myself, but it still weighs heavy on my heart that one of my students perished, even if he was an insubordinate fool who tried to order me around. The other one has been handling himself much better, and I'm considering giving him a second chance when it comes to training a team. I know everything that happened, but Okami's come a long way from that stereotypical Uchiha he used to be."

With that, Muninn shrugged his shoulders and blinked. He was being hard on himself, and he knew that, but Luke's death was going to tear Okami apart. At least he hadn't had to bear witness to it.

The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill]   The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] EmptyWed Jan 27, 2016 3:05 pm

Shizuka was, as usual, perched on the left tower next to the mansion - the highest point in the village. She was shrouded in shadows, hidden in the darkness. The symbiot covered her in what was quickly becoming her new trademark outfit; a bodysuit. This one came with a hood, all black in color like the rest of her clothing, that cast her face in shadow. There was no light around, nothing to cast a glint on her scope, nothing to indicate her prescene there at all to an outside source.

For those who she was allied with they would see a green beam trained on the side of the Harukage's face; something with the way she would bend the light would be unseeable to the Harukage himself. It would produce no heat, give no sign that it was there, but it was. Oh yes, it was, and her gunscythe was loaded with light release bullets; ten of them in fact.

She wouldn't fire, not unless given a reason, but she was prepared. Alec had saved her life, he had taken her in when others would not have been so kind. He had given her freedom, instead of using her as some kind of weapon like those who once held her. She owed him her life, and she would protect him and his family and friends with her own. So if the Harukage moved in a way she didn't like? If he gave her a reason? She would pull the trigger and remove his head from his shoulders without hesitation.

But, for now she would wait. She would wait and she would see. As Shizuka waited to see if she'd be given a reason to fire she would begin to whistle a very soft tune which would be able to be heard for any wearing a wireless communicator in their village.

The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill]   The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] EmptyWed Jan 27, 2016 3:54 pm

A beam of light shined in Muninn's face. Without even having to turn his head, eyes of chakra follow the beam back to it's source; one of the towers next to the mansion. Alec watched the mission that Konran and Shizuka went on, rescuing more hostages and eliminating more of the Headbands, and came to find that the device she carried with her was a firearm. He'd received more details from Konran; she'd modified it to fire bullets made of Light, bullets that grew in power when she was exposed to the sun's rays. Alec didn't feel like she owed him anything because of everything he'd done for her, but if she had his back, which she clearly did at the moment, that was fine with him. Alec was still catching on to the hums and the whistles that she did. When she hummed, it meant she was in a calm mood. When she whistled, like she was now, through the party line, this had to mean she had someone lined up to kill them. Konran had told him that no one would be able to see that beam except for friends, given her ability to manipulate Light, so Alec knew he wouldn't see the beam, or know that a high caliber weapon was currently aimed at his face.

Muninn began talking. He knew Alec's name and that he was the Kuraikage. He said he'd heard a lot about him, which came as no surprise. Word had to be spreading about him by now. He'd turned the village around almost single handed, and welcomed in tourists from far and wide, sometimes personally. People all around had to be talking about the dark village and the "blind man" that ran it. Muninn said he knew about the alliance set up between him and Temaki, and wanted to know if that could continue. He also wanted to know if there were somewhere they could talk this out, but Alec was fine with doing things right here. Alec hid nothing from his people; it was how trust was built. He told everyone that they were free to get themselves a wireless communicator and listen in on what was called the party line if they wanted.

"Alliance?.... heheh. An alliance is when 2 parties work together and help each other. You can't help me, let alone yourself. An "alliance" at this point wouldn't be an alliance... It would be us, playing bodyguard for you. You're in no condition to defend yourself, or that village... I could invade Mori with several of my people and there wouldn't be anything you could do to stop me. Look how you handled yourself against those 2 maniacs... Yes. I heard all about that... But a Kage summit, fine with me. It seems the perfect place to... "hash things out," as you put it."

A kage summit... Alec didn't mind attending that. Perhaps he would get to meet the Umikage at last. Muninn next spoke of Chiho. He said everything he already knew; she was put on a squad with Okami and the now dead Luke, and disagreed with it. Okami and Luke seemed to have gotten into a fight over her, causing her to defect. He said she wasn't in trouble or anything, but Alec wasn't exactly in the position to trust this man. He said he doubted that she went back to Umi, she wasn't in Sabaku, so that left Yasei and here... but Alec wasn't going to put her in potential danger.

"Chiho... Dovahkiin?... Sorry. Can't say that I know who that is."

Muninn admitted that Luke deserved to die, but felt bad that one of his students was killed, by Jr, his son. Alec couldn't bring himself to care, honestly. He said Okami was calming down being the "Typical Uchiha," but Alec would have to see it to believe it.

"I'll attend your summit. I'll even do you a kindness and give you intel of what you're dealing with when it comes to those 2 maniacs in your country. The one with the white hair, who took your arm, his name is Ranmaru. I've encountered him myself on another continent. He can do strange techniques with cloth, as you've seen, and is a psychopath, well beyond reasoning with. There is no talking to or bargaining this man, make sure you understand this. You either kill him, or get out of his way. You? I would suggest staying out of his way. The little girl, while I don't know her name, I can tell you that she is part Uchiha, part Holeman. The Holeman Clan is reputed as being some of the best medics in the world, as well as having eyes of chakra that can see most anywhere. She also seems to have unlocked some of the most forbidden techniques of the Uchiha Clan. Together they form an almost unstoppable team, unable to be taken by surprise. Now, as they have your arm, the arm of a Senju, there is also the chance that one, or both of them could possibly bring back the most powerful dojutsu there is: the Rinnegan. If that happens.... well. Maybe we should save this discussion for the summit."

Alec rested his hands on top of his polished walking stick as if it were a cane, as he often did. "Will there be anything further, Harukage?'

The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill]   The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] EmptyWed Jan 27, 2016 4:13 pm

Muninn's eyes widened at the mention of the Rinnegan. So this man knew of the old stories? Well, that made a whole lot less explaining to do. He admitted that he was likely the weakest of the Kage, more along the lines of a newer Sannin if anything, but the people that attacked him were plenty strong. If the girl that was along with him, the one with bunny ears, gained Rinnegan, that would be a problem for everyone. He decided he needed to hasten his plans further. The alliance had no hope, but a treaty between all the Villages in light of this new information was definitely possible. He also felt that Alec was withholding information, particularly about Chiho, but he didn't mind. As long as she was safe.

Now, to go home before heading out to Umigakure. Before he went, he wanted to clear up one thing. "Kuraikage-dono, pleae don't misunderstand me. I might be the weakest of the Kage I've met so far, but I'm not as weak as most people think. The Senju are a strong people still. You have no idea how many times I've been underestimated in my career. Anyway, see you back in Morigakure!"

And with that, he was gone. He had no doubt the Kuraikage could see him go, even at his fastest. Yet, his speed was still the fastest possible without unnatural augmentations.

The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill]   The One Armed Kage [Open, No Kill] EmptyWed Jan 27, 2016 4:39 pm

The Harukage said something else that Shizuka couldn't quite hear given her location and then left. The entire time he walked, up until he was out of the village gates, the green light which would indicate where Shizuka was aiming would follow him - remaining constantly on his head where a single shot would surely be the death of him were he to give her a reason which he didn't.

Her whistling stopped and switched to a content sounding him as she straightened up and quit looking through her scope. The danger was passed, and she had no intentions on spying on Alec. Instead, she simply yawned and then stretched while standing on the tips of her toes: she had been in the same position for far too long before the Harukage arrived.

When she was done with stretching she would fold up her gunscythe once more and then jump over the edge of the tower, landing on a lower point before then jumping off of that and to the ground as a way of keeping herself from getting hurt. Once on the ground she would glance about, still humming. She had no idea why the Harukage had arrived, and was curious if Alec would tell everyone or not: he had done the meeting openly, and she was also curious as to how the Harukage felt about that - even though it was truly none of her business.
