Morigakure. It was certainly unlike anything he'd imagined. There were trees everywhere. The biggest tree he'd ever seen in his life was in the center of all the trees; an ocean of green that seemed to go on forever in all directions. Myuto had previously climbed one of these trees up into the high branches to have a look at the landscape, impressed with what he saw.

Myuto was a 17 year old A-ranked Jounin. He had wild black hair and red eyes. Myuto was dressed like a Jounin would be. He had on a black shirt that had the symbol of Umigakure on the upper arm of each sleeve; over this he wore the standard Jounin flak jacket, colored blue, like the ocean. He wore baggy black slacks with a kunai and shuriken holster tied to his right thigh. Medical tape was wrapped around both calfs. Black sandals adorned both feet. Myuto had his Umigakure village headband tied around his neck, and two sticks that looked like swords holstered on his back. The "swords" were holstered on his back in a cloth that bared the Hozuki Clan Symbol.

Adjusting the strange device on his right forearm, Myuto entered the village amongst stares, which were met with a stare. The Umikage sent him here to deliver a note to the Harukage which basically stated that Umigakure was back on the map, and resuming it's function as a Hidden Village. Myuto assumed that the big tree in the center of the village was the residence of the Harukage, so this was where he headed first. The receptionist inside told him that the Harukage, a one Muninn Senju, had been in some sort of accident, and was currently in Sabakugakure for medical treatment. Morigakure had no such medics?... The accident must have been serious. No matter then, Myuto would wait for him to return. He had plenty of patience...

Myuto used the meantime to travel down to the waterfront, sipping on one of his mother's bottles of water. He took a squat at the water's edge to look at the water and the creatures and wildlife swimming within. Myuto put a hand in the water to slosh it around some, to feel the water, to test it's quality. He picked some of it up and let it spill from his hand. Myuto smelled the water, tasted the water. He let some spill over his head, to see how it felt. This garnered many strange stares, yet Myuto didn't seem to care. He was born in water, raised in water. He was water. The waters around Mori had a sweet taste to them, possibly because of the trees and all of the green. He bottled some of the water to take back home with him.

Okami stretched as he woke up that morning, performing his morning ritual with precision. Taking a shower, brushing his hair and putting it into a loose pony, it was all part of his routine. It was then he got dressed in his usual clothing; A short sleeved, high collared black Uchiha shirt, long white pants with black leg wraps, black shinobi sandals, and a white rope within which he tucked his finely-crafted katana. A black kunai holster was strapped to his right thigh, and a pouch containing several shuriken sat on the right of his belt, flanked by five scrolls on the left. This was his day to day garb, along with his red silk headband tied loosely around his neck. Walking out the front door, past the head of the dragon he had slain, he walked outside. It was a beautiful day, birds chirping and water trickling though the river in the middle of town. In fact, he decided he might as well walk down to the river and sight-see. He had nothing better to do, after all.

Myuto remained in his squat at the water's edge. He pulled a marker from his pack after putting a cork on the bottle of water, drawing a tree on it to signify that this water was from the village of Morigakure. He wanted to take it back so that his family could taste it. Myuto was a connoisseur of water; it may have seemed silly to others but water was something he took to with a passion. Myuto tied the bottle with the tree on it to his belt. He planned to gather samples from each village to take home.

There was a small island in the middle of the waters that traveled through Morigakure, with a patch of grass and several small trees. The many eyes that were on him, probably due to him being from a village thought inactive, was becoming somewhat overwhelming. The island looked like a nice quiet out of the way place to sit back and wait for the Harukage to return from Sabakugakure. Myuto stood and waded through the water that came up to his waist, walking up onto the small island to sit cross legged in the grass, his back to one of the trees. Myuto could have easily walked across the water's surface using chakra control, but he liked the feel of the water on his skin. His clothes were soaked in the oils of seals and sharks, insuring that they dried quickly.

Myuto pulled a pen and paper from his water tight pack. While sitting back and staring towards the village and it's people, he began to draw a picture. Along with being a musician, Myuto was, as he was told, a talented artist. He was never one to brag, mostly being that he didn't speak; at best Myuto thought he was decent. Myuto began to draw a detailed picture of Morigakure and the people he could see. He planned to capture his entire trip to take home and show his family.

As Okami walked down to the river, he saw a man testing the water, then wading out into the middle to a small island. That was odd. From his garb he was a shinobi, so he could have just walked across, but nope! He decided to get his clothes wet. Once he was on the other side, he appeared to pull out a sketchbook and a writing utensil and began to draw. Okami considered briefly doing an odd pose to see if he could get the guy's attention, but he decided against it in favor of just using Chakra Control to walk across the water. Walking up to the man, he would kneel down to his level and smile, greeting him happily.

"Hey! You're not from around here, are you? My name is Okami. I can show you around a bit, if you want."

Myuto's picture was coming out nicely. He was able to capture most of the big tree, and the majority of the houses. Myuto was even able to capture a few people, as they stood still long enough for him to pencil in their likenesses.

Myuto came over to this island to get away from the people, and not be in the way. His presence here was drawing attention, because of his blue flak jacket and overall appearance. Myuto knew he probably wasn't going to be able to sit over here by himself for long, before someone would come over here and attempt talking to him, which they did.

It was one of the village ninja, who looked stronger than ordinary. By his look, Myuto ascertained that he was a part of the Uchiha Clan. Myuto had only seen drawn pictures of them, and heard stories. Uchiha Clan members were reputed as the cause of some of the world's major disasters in the past. Wars, monsters, plots to take over the world...Uchiha were involved with them all. Myuto was to understand that many of them were wiped out in a massacre within a legendary village hundreds of years ago.

Some of them survived it seemed. Myuto heard the stories about their eyes. Supposedly they had the ability to hypnotize people just by eye contact. The eyes let them see what people would do to them before they actually did it, and they also let them copy jutsu and techniques performed in front of them. This one's eyes didn't look too strange at the moment, as he kneeled so he was level with Myuto. Myuto didn't know if the stories were true, and he didn't care. He wasn't one to judge a clan or it's members on what they did in the past either. It was none of his business, and Myuto tended to mind his own.

The man said Myuto wasn't from around here, which was true. He said his name was Okami, and offered to show him around. Myuto put up a hand, as if to say "no thanks" and continued to draw at his picture, which was beginning to look quite detailed. He occasionally took sips of his water; he had to in order to stay hydrated. Since he wasn't in an ocean environment anymore, it was very easy for him, as a Hozuki, to dry out...

Seeing the way the other man looked at him, Okami almost slapped himself. The man must be mute, or something. Judging from his attire, he appeared to be a Umigakure shinobi, if the sigils on his arms were anything to go by. Watching his drawing carefully, he saw that it was the work of a skilled artist, something Okami himself could appreciate. He had learned how to read, write, and draw young, but almost never had the time for it anymore. Watching him slowly, judging the strokes of the pen, it was relaxing in a way.

Shaking his head, Okami would laugh, his waist length ponytail hitting the side of his face as he berated himself within his head. This was no time to be gawking at the man's drawing. "If you want, there's a really nice art supply store just down that street there. That's where I get all my stuff from, when I have the time for it. So, what brings you to Morigakure?"

The man looked like he was impressed with how Myuto's picture was coming along. After watching for so long, he seemed to laugh at something. Myuto had no idea. He glanced to the man and didn't change his plain expression, trying to figure out what was so funny. He spoke of an art supply place nearby, where he got his things, when he had time for it.

Asking why he was here, Myuto reached behind him into his pack again to show Okami the sealed note. It had the word "Harukage" on it, and it had the seal bearing the symbol of Umigakure; the Harukage would recognize that it was from the Umikage. It was still sealed shut, meaning Myuto hadn't peeked inside at it's contents. Myuto wouldn't give the note to anyone but the Harukage, so after showing it to Okami he put the note back into his pack, then took a long drink of his water.

If he'd brought colored pencils he could really make the picture look nice, but he'd left those back home. He thought of visiting this supply store that was mentioned, but black and white would be fine enough to convey his message. Myuto eventually finished his water and put the bottle into the river, filling it up again. He emptied the bottle a couple of times so that he didn't get dirt or grass in it, having to pick some out himself, before taking another long swig.

Nodding his head, he noted that those letters were for the Harukage. From what Okami knew, the Harukage wouldn't be back for several days at the least. "Uhh, I'm sorry to tell you this, but the Harukage is in Sabakugakure right now and I don't know when he'll be back. Can't tell you much more than that, though. As long as you have time, though, I'd suggest sticking around for a bit, or maybe heading over there and seeing if you can find him. The Arenokage should be able to help."

Standing up, Okami would then make to leave. Hopping back across the river easily, he went to continue his day to day meanderings in peace.

Hmm. Well that put a damper on things. Okami said the Harukage was in Sabakugakure, the desert, and there was no telling when he would be back. The Umikage told Myuto to take his time, but he didn't exactly want to be stuck sitting around a village bored with nothing to do but draw and play the Koto. He could do that at home. There wasn't looking to be any other noteworthy shinobi here in Morigakure besides Okami either.

The Uchiha said that he could stick around, or head to the desert himself for more details, before jumping back across the river and going on about his day. Myuto continued to draw his picture until he was finished. He folded it up and put it along with his pencil back into his pack. Sipping on his water again, Myuto debated on what to do. Wait around here? Or move on, to possibly return another day, when there were more shinobi around?

Moving on was beginning to seem like the better choice of the two. Myuto stood up and stretched. This time he used his chakra to walk across the water's surface to the other side, and returned to the big tree. He handed the note to the receptionist, being sure to point to the word Harukage written on it. After that, Myuto took one last walk around Morigakure, and headed out, in the direction of the desert, Sabakugakure.
