The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill] Empty
PostSubject: The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill]   The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill] EmptySat Jun 18, 2016 9:03 pm

Time off? Something like that. Suppose it could be called that for the sandy Kage. At the moment she was doing something a little less Kage like, and a little more entertaining: amusing the nearby children. She had manipulated the sand to resemble to Shukaku's in miniature - no larger then two feet high - and had the two beasts fighting each other much to the children's delight who surrounded her.

Emiko chuckled herself as one of the Shukaku's pinned the other and began what was clearly meant to be some kind of tickle attack on the other - nothing vicious, overly frightening, or overly violent for the surrounding children to see. The Shukaku's roared softly at each other and kept play fighting while Emiko looked on with her arms folded across her chest and a look of amusement on her face. The children were of course eating it all up, laughing and clapping and giggling up a storm.

Emiko was quite pleased to see the youth of the village having so much fun, which was why she never minded a little wasted chakra at their expense. As Emiko remained standing there she glanced around, wondering if any of her shinobi were nearby. She had been planning on checking later on if the cannibals had been heard causing anymore trouble, or if anything had come about over that Uchiha having the blood of a Senju on her, but she just couldn't be bothered with it for the moment. She knew if something bad had happened that someone would have been in contact with all of the Kages by now to let everyone else know.

Teleport:

The sand near Coach Emiko started moving, swirling like a whirlpool. The air above the sand started to twist and distort itself. After a flash, there appeared Suna. He didn't look like he normally did anymore, he'd undergone some major changes. Suna looked like he'd grown some, being taller and longer. He'd put on a little muscle. Suna was wearing a black top that resembled a straight jacket. The sleeves were way too long for him, hiding his arms and hands. He had on brown specialized pants, and was barefoot. He still wore his trademark gas mask, but no longer wore a hood, allowing blood red hair to hang down either side of his head. On his back was his prized gourd.

The strangest thing about Suna was that he was floating above the ground. He seemed to just hang there, suspended, as if some invisible force was holding him airborne. Suna gazed upon the scene, attracting several stares himself.  he could hear things like "Suna's floating" and "How is he doing that?" He didn't mind. There was no hostility like back in Mori, since he'd saved Sabaku several times. Most everyone thought he was a hero, and that was just fine with him.

"You out here playing with the kids when you should be doing Kage stuff, i'm telling," Suna said to Emiko in a joking, parent-like manner. "Bad coach! Bad coach!"

Suna hadn't told her or Miyuki about his changes yet; it just dawned on him. If she asked, it wouldn't be like he'd hide it. They both had to be wondering what was up with him since the Summit...

PostSubject: Re: The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill]   The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill] EmptySun Jun 19, 2016 11:05 am

The two Shukaku's were wrestling around at this point, each trying to pin the other one down with a series of cute sounding roars coming from both of them as they did so.

Something strange started happening nearby, the sand began to swirl and it looked like the very air was distorting. In a flash Suna appeared wearing his usual gasmask but without the hood. He looked different and was dressed differently; stronger than before, and he was definitely floating with seemingly nothing holding him suspended there. Emiko had no idea how he was doing that: she could use sand platforms to fly, but this wasn't the same thing. It made her quite curious as to what her student had been up to since the Kage Summit.

Emiko also noticed that some of the attention had shifted off of the two mini Shukaku's that were continuing to battle it out and onto Suna: everyone else seemed equally as curious about him. At Suna's words she couldn't help but grin. Hehe, even Kage's need breaks every so often.", she responded with a chuckle. "Seems you've been busy lately, Suna... "

Emiko glanced back to the fighting Shukaku's. One had the other one pinned so well it couldn't escape. They remained like that for several seconds before the Shukaku doing the pinning stood up victoriously and both of them poofed back into harmless sand. Emiko chuckled and looked back to Suna, giving him a curious once over. "I see you've got some new tricks up your sleeves, too."

Suna didn't want to discuss his private business out in the open like this. It wasn't for everyone to hear. He knew that if the wrong kind of people caught wind of this, an unknown, new release unseen in... probably forever, he'd potentially bring trouble to Sabaku. His left sleeve seemed to roll itself up on its own allowing him to put a hand on Emiko's shoulder.

Telepathy:

The whole story would unfold in her mind's eye. His village's human weapons program; kids born and bred for the sole purpose of fighting and killing. There was the person known as "The Psychic," literally sucked dry so that his chakra could be used in experiments. Many children were saturated in this chakra, but Suna was the only survivor. His headaches were the indication that his new abilities had blossomed. Suna took one last trip to the ruins of his birthplace to find out about himself, and also to find his new gear, which amplified his new psychic skills.

When done, Suna removed his hand from Emiko's shoulder and the sleeve dropped again. "...Not everyday one finds out they're the only surviving member of a mad scientist project, yeah?" he said jokingly. It sort of bothered him to find things out as he did, but played it off as a joke. "Ah well. The bad guys won't know what to expect now."

PostSubject: Re: The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill]   The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill] EmptyMon Jun 20, 2016 10:30 am

Suna's sleeve rolled up seemingly of its own accord and then he placed his hand on her shoulder. When contact was made she was able to see the whole story without those nearby becoming privy to it. There had been a human weapon's program created in Suna's village with kids born and raised for this sole purpose. There was an individual known as The Psychic who was drained so that others could be essentially bathed in his chakra. Out of all of the individuals to undergo this however only Suna survived. Suna had disappeared to take a last trip to this old village of his which was where he had found all of this out and where he had got the gear he was wearing that enhanced these psychic abilities of his.

It was interesting, and yet sad at the same time. She had a feeling that even though his comment seemed joking it likely bothered him at least somewhat: that was a lot of horrible stuff to find out about oneself. Emiko simply smiled gently, glancing toward the children who were running off to be distracted elsewhere, or otherwise being called away by parents who wanted them to come in the house for supper.

"Sometimes... we have to walk through hell for the sake of keeping others in heaven." It was a pretty good analogy. Emiko herself had gone through some serious challenges and horrors in life only to become as strong as she was today. Now she was strong enough to run and protect a village; to keep the people within it safe and sound from the horrors of the world. When she was growing up she likely would have wished that pain on anyone else, but today she was quite happy she had gone through it because it shaped her into the person she was - into someone strong enough to defend those she cared about.

"You're new abilities will definitely keep your enemies on their toes, that's for sure." She could only imagine how frustrating it would be now to go up against Suna with his new slew of abilities. Any enemy that crossed him was going to be in for a rude awakening, and a serious surprise. It made her think about Okami too: was he still around somewhere? Would him and Suna end up facing off one day?

"Walk through hell? I'm barefoot, coach!"

Suna got the message though he was joking like he usually did. Suna knew that Emiko had gone though some sort of life changing thing of her own, and seeing it for himself would be as easy as thinking about it now, but some things were better left private. Suna wasn't going to invade the Kage's memories like that.

...Yet, since he was on the subject of memories, there was something else he could read her mind and see, and she wouldn't know what he was doing unless she had psychic powers herself. Suna started to have second thoughts when he remembered the beast inside of her, but could Shukaku tell her that someone was reading her mind? It would technically be stealing, yes, but Suna wasn't going to hurt anyone, and it would probably benefit everyone in the end.

Emiko had a vast array of techniques and abilities. Suna was interested in those that had to do with medical. There were many of them, but there was one that stood out above the rest. it was an ability to totally transform, into a woman if he chose. He would be able to make himself look like anyone he wanted... meaning he could go without his mask if he chose. Suna didn't exactly know if that was something he wanted to risk at the moment, but the technique was something he couldn't pass up on.

Mimic:

With that bit of knowledge absorbed into his own memories, Suna began to wonder what to do next. Go get something to eat? Go do some missions? Maybe go and visit Holeman? "So, any word from the other villages yet? Anything on those two psychos out in the woods of Mori?... How bout that lobster Okami and his moron master Muninn the one arm?"

PostSubject: Re: The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill]   The Sand Kage Plays [Open][No Kill] EmptyMon Jun 20, 2016 10:36 pm

Emiko couldn't help but to laugh at Suna's joke. She got the feeling that he understood exactly what she had meant, but by his usual nature he made a joke. It didn't bother her in the slightest - not like it had probably bothered his previous sensei.

While Shukaku stirred within her he gave her no alert to Suna 'borrowing' one of her techniques for himself. Not that that was exactly something Emiko would have minded either way - though, she probably would have preferred he ask first. Still, it was a non-issue since she - at least for the time being - knew nothing about it having even occured.

At Suna's question about whether she had heard anything or not she shook her head; though she felt the need to elaborate more since he had asked several questions. "I haven't heard anything at all from the other villages, actually... though, they're probably all busy with their own business so I'm not entirely worried about it. As far as the two trouble makers go I haven't heard anything about them either, nor has Holeman alerted me to them entering within our villages perimeters. I'd imagine Munnin to be off busy training at the moment - if he didn't just give up all hope and dream of ever being able to actually prove himself worthy of taking the hat back... Then again, that Shizuka girl likely scared him too. I'd imagine he was about pissing on himself when that Genin had him pinned to the wall - real eye opening to just how very weak he really is... Okami... well, I haven't heard anything about him either, so I dunno."

Suna could feel the drop in his charka from reading the Kage's mind and copying a medical technique. It wasn't a big drop, but he felt it. Emiko said she hadn't heard anything from the other villages, but no news was good news. She said there was nothing from the two psychos either, and Holeman hadn't said anything about seeing any sort of strange movements. She said the one armed former Kage was probably training after being pinned against a wall by a mere Genin, and nothing had been heard or seen of Okami. Not that he cared.

For the most part Suna had let that past situation with the attempted murder - or whatever he intended on doing - go, but that didn't mean he'd forgotten about it. With his new Psychic abilities, remembering the incident back in Mori only re-ignited an old flame. It, and everything that happened after it, such as him attempting to make friends, smiling, and offering to take he and Miyuki out. There was part of him that wanted to go teach the lobster Uchiha a thing or 2, but he was a super hero now, in his own right, and a revenge mission probably wouldn't settle too well with his new fans.

"..."

Suna decided to go find something to do to change his mind. A job, a patrol out in the desert badlands. Or maybe he'd go copy a few more moves from Holeman. "Well i'll leave all those politics to you, coach," he said, beginning to float backwards, away from the scene. "Call me when someone needs their butt kicked! Later!"

Like a bullet, Suna took off, speeding down the sandy streets.
