A Butcher Knife? [A Rank Mission][Jr Kane, or Invite]

Masked Massacre:

Shizuka had been trying to take it easy since the Kage Summit ended. She had very nearly fully lost her temper and killed someone without even a second thought. She hadn't regretted it then, and she still didn't regret it now. Muninn had been speaking poorly to Jr and Shizuka had felt the need to put him in his place. For now all she could do was hope that he had brains enough not to show his face again anytime soon. Several times Shizuka had thought back to the day he had first arrived at Kurayamigakure to speak to Alec: she had had him lined up in her sights and was only a trigger pull away from blowing his head right off of his shoulders. Now, when she thought about it, she found herself thinking she probably should have just gone on an pulled the darned thing - it would have saved them the headache they had all had to endure later on. No matter, though, because the past was the past.

At the current moment Shizuka was positioned as she so often was on the roof of the Kane Mansion's left tower. It provided an excellent view of the majority of Kurayamigakure, especially when looking through the scope of her gunscythe like she now was. It allowed her to see in great detail everything that was going on: including the little boy attempting to steal some candy from a stall in the market while his friends distracted the owners. Thankfully, Shizuka had some sense about her, so she didn't fire on the boy even though he was committing a crime. Thankfully, one of the nearby market guards noticed it quickly enough, and was snatching the boy up before he could get away with what he had just done. Grinning a bit Shizuka then shifted her attention elsewhere.

As the wind began to blow Shizuka found herself tucking a loose strand of brown hair not in her ponytail back behind her ear and out of her face. It was warmer today, so she had changed up her usual bodysuit for something a tad bit more revealing yet at the same time more comfortable. The symbiotic armor that Alec had given her had fomed a black bikini styled top to keep her chest covered, fish-net stockings, black shorts, and a pair of boots. Her usual belt was around her waist from which her gunscythe normally hung when not in use like it was at that moment, and there was a weapons pouch that contained the rest of her supplies and weaponry around her right leg.

As she shifted her gunscythe into a better position for a new view she found herself looking at an odd sight. Incidentally she had pointed her gunscythe in the direction of the residential area only to see what looked to be clearly blood splattered on a window. The outside wall that she could see didn't look like it had been touched, only the window did, meaning that the blood had likely come from the inside. Shizuka wasn't sure if this was just a prank, or an actual issue, so she let out a sharp and urgent whistle in hopes that someone either nearby would hear her, or through the party line: whatever was going on she figured backup was needed. As she waited for a response she kept her scope trained on the building in question, waiting to see something else out of the ordinary, or something that would at least explain what was going on.

3 of the villages on this continent were in their pocket now. His father and the rest of their friends took over Kurayamigakure. It used to be run by freaks who ran experiments on people. Sabaku was run by Emiko, where Holeman and Mitsukai lived. His father outed that wood guy Muninn from power in Morigakure, putting Kurai in charge there. He'd taken his sister Hikari with him, and seeing that Muninn and that Okami guy were both idiots, there were no worries over there.

That just left the water village. Jr was sketchy about water, because it was his weakness. Taking baths was even a delicate process. The water people seemed cool enough. That silent guy didn't seem like he would be a problem, and his father said Umiko was straightforward. The only problems would liley be the wood guy and that Uchiha. They probably didn't like Jr, and that was fine, because Jr didn't like them either.

His thoughts were interrupted by a whistle that came through the party line. Currently, Jr was in the house, in the kitchen, eating a sandwich. Stuffing the rest of it into his face, Jr went outside. Sensory had Shizuka placed on one of the towers next to the mansion. She only whistled when she had someone lined up to kill them, or when there was trouble. With his phoenix aura flaring to life, Jr lifted off and raised himself up to the tower's level.

"Trouble, Quiet?" He asked, his arms folded.

Shizuka kept watch through the scope of her gunscythe as she waited for someone to respond to her urgent whistle. The blood was definitely on the inside of the windows, and it was trickling down as if it were fresh and still very much wet. So far she could see no movement inside, but that meant nothing considering she couldn't see any other windows on that side of the house.

When Junior arrived she would focus her attention over to him to find him level with the height of the tower. She would offer up a nod and then make a follow me gesture before darting down the side of the tower and landing on the nearest rooftop: her gunscythe still unfolded in its full form and trailing safely behind her - she wasn't going to put it away if something serious was wrong. Once she landed in a crouch she would spring forward and begin to run across the rooftops, going from one to the other, and even across garden walls as she made her way straight toward the house with the blood on the windows. She figured Junior would follow her, and that he'd likely be faster than her and have no issues keeping up considering their speed difference. Still, she was pretty fast in her own right, and would arrive soon enough to see the house with her own eyes.

She would wait until Junior was stopped too before pointing toward the window with the blood painting it. She had no idea what was going on in there yet, but getting a look at the blood up close told her that it was definitely a bloodbath. Whoever lost that much blood stood no chance of having survived: there was going to be a dead body somewhere. Then, from somewhere nearby to the right of them, she heard the sound of a loud crash followed by a blood curdling scream. Glancing in that direction she noticed that it was coming from an entirely different house: what was going on? Was someone just going around attacking people?

Shizuka wanted him to follow her. When she started running, Jr was right with her, riding along inside of the phoenix aura which generated more than enough heat to carry him through the air. He followed behind her as she started travering rooftops, figuring she wouldn't try to get someone's attention if something wasn't wrong.

And something definitely was wrong. There was a house where a lot of blood was spilled. Something really bad was going on inside. Jr could sense a really strong guy on the premises. Just from the look of him, Jr knew there was going to be no talking to the guy; he was going to have to be incapacitated or killed. jr began to think it would be the latter.

"There's a real whackjob in there," Jr said, landing on a nearby roof and allowing the poenix aura to disappear. "No peace talks and no white flags with this guy Quiet, this guy isn't gonna stop unless he's put down." Jr pulled on his Boom Boom gloves tighter. "Good thing you said something, I donno if you woulda been able to take this guy alone. Well, there's that speedy thing you do, but better to have some help."

Junior, as she expected, was easily able to keep up with her while she was moving. Shizuka was sure this was a serious situation, and as soon as they quit moving Junior confirmed this. Whoever was causing all of this blood and mayhem was strong, strong enough to likely have given Shizuka a issue had she tried to come and handle this situation alone. Shizuka wasn't the type of person to purposely go and get in over her head: she knew when to play it safe. That was why she had called attention to the possible situation going on.

Junior went on to say that the guy was a real menace; there would be no way of talking peace or sense into the guy. The only way he was going to stop was to be killed and put down: it wasn't the first time Shizuka was in this kind of situation so she simply nodded in understanding.

So, moving with caution now instead of bum rushing in, she made her way toward the house where the fresh set of screams were coming from. Instead of barging straight in through the front door she kept herself crouched down as she approached the window. When close enough - while still making sure there was enough distance between herself and the open window so she wouldn't accidentally end up grabbed were the killer too close - she peaked over the edge and in to see what was going on. There was a spray pattern of blood on the walls that Shizuka recognized as arterial spray. Whoever had been cut, with the way the spray looked and how much was there, wasn't alive anymore.

Still, she could hear movement. The sound of hurried footsteps was coming from what was clearly upstairs followed by slow and heavy boot-like strides - someone was running while someone else was walking. Shizuka could only assume for the moment that the killer was more than willing to take his time, that he wasn't concerned in getting caught or being stopped - it made him even more lethal than what she had assumed from Junior's analysis of the situation.

Shizuka would then look to see where Junior had got to, and if he had some kind of plan on how he wanted to handle this guy. From the sounds inside his current mark was still alive and likely barricading herself in one of the rooms from the noise she could hear.
