PostSubject: A New Home [Open]   A New Home [Open] EmptyWed Jun 29, 2016 7:46 pm

Isao walked down the street with a smile on his face. The handsome ninja was now the Kage of a village, something he thought would never happen. Oh sure, Amara had been a kage for a time, but he never saw himself taking that hat. She didn't want it though, so it was now his. He looked around with curiosity as he wondered where she was off too. They were supposed to be meeting pretty soon. He waved to people in his new home as he continued to walk down the street. He was in his formal robes, as he wanted people to get use to the idea of him being a figure for them to look up to. Despite having been here for a short time, he wanted nothing but the best for his village. He would make sure it was strong and ready for anything.

A few kids ran beside him, giggling as he nodded in their direction. He had traveled for so long that he forgot what talking to a Kage was like at that age. He just hoped that in 20 years they would be satisfied with job he did. He would move over to a nearby bench, adjusting his legendary bow under his robe before sitting down. Despite being at home, he was always prepared for battle. There was a lot to be done in the village, but with Amara and even Raijin by his side, he knew they could make this place even greater than it already was. He would relax his head on the top of the bench, looking up at the close clouds passing them by. It truly was a beautiful site to behold.

Perhaps it was the sheer beauty of the village, perhaps it was because it was so high up just like Amara liked to be, or perhaps it was simply the friendly people around, but Amara was quite happy with their choice to live in Soragakure. Moving here had been simple enough: she did turn into a giant dragon after all, one which could carry a great deal of stuff from one place to another. Settling in had been even simplier. She made sure she was around when Isao might need her - her previous Raikage experiences more than preparing her to help him in an advisory type of position. Plus, she just liked an excuse to be able to spend time with him.

At the moment though she was running a tad bit late due to having stopped to get them some tea. She was rather fond of the drink herself, and there was no way she was going to show up to meet Isao without bringing him some too as that would have been quite rude.

She was on her way, though, and moving quite quickly along the rooftops. Oh, she could have flew, but she liked to keep that little secret as underwraps as possible - at least for the time being. Still, she moved quickly and effeciently without spilling a single drop of the flavored teas she held - both were watermelon, her new favorite flavor.

It wouldn't take her long to find him, and sure enough she landed nearby gracefully, her whitish purple outfit (a one piece outfit with black trim and a lot cut back to allow for an easy manifestation of wings, which really was pants at the bottom but resembled a beautiful dress when she was standing still) swirling around her legs for a moment before falling into place. "Looking for me?", she asked in a playful tone of voice, eyeing his Kage robes - she had hated wearing them personally, but that was because they were too hard to transform while wearing.

As usual, when around other people - and there were definitely people around - she reigned in her deadly passive shock so that it was nothing more than dim static: she didn't want to accidentally harm someone. Though, the smell of ozone, like the scent of the air after a massive lightning storm, still hung around the purple haired female.

Isao smiled as his wife appeared with tea. He accepted his cup and immediately took a sip, sighing at the delight it brought. Amara spoke, reducing her natural abilities to make it safe for others. She was truly one of the more powerful people he had ever met, and yet she was the sweetest person he knew. "Thanks honey, how are you liking the place so far?" he asked before taking another sip of his tea. Watermelon was oddly satisfying as a tea flavor. He noted her usual attire and how it moved with grace as she landed. She really knew how to make an entrance.

He would move over, allowing her a place beside him on the bench. He patted the spot, inviting her over before looking to nod at a couple as they walked by. He wanted to be a friendly Kage that knew his people. He wanted to be more than a figure head. He had advised Kage's before, but being the actual Kage was more work than most realized. Isao looked around at the beauty before him. He was lucky and he needed to remember that every day. He was working on a new division for the village as well, hoping to be active in making improvements. Their military was a good size, but it was better to have surprises for the enemy, if any ever came. This section of the world seemed to be more peaceful than the last one he was in.

Isao took his tea and seemed to enjoy the flavor she had chosen for them which made her smile: she bothered making a mental note of what he liked and didn't like when choosing such things, and so that was what she did then and there though she gave no outward sign. She took a sip of her own tea, pulling the liquid through the red straw, as she watched him scoot over and then pat the spot next to him in a clear indication of wanting her to join him.

Smiling bright she did exactly that, sitting down with the grace due someone with her physical abilities and skills - she might have been a Taijutsu user, but her Gentle Fist style required grace, and precision, not brute force, so the former was something that she tried to work into all aspects of her life.

She would remain silent for a moment or two as she thought over her answer to Isao's question and just focusing on drinking some of her tea, and looking around to those who passed by. When she finished a good several gulps of the delicious - and somewhat addicting - liquid within the cup she would smile at her husband and shrug her shoulders in her usual thoughtful way. "I like it here.. okay, well, love I suppose would be the appropriate word. There's just something about this place that feels more like home than anywhere else we've been. Maybe it's just because we're so high up and that in itself bring sme joy... or maybe it's because in a way this seems like where we were meant to settle. Either way, I'm happy."

Amara fell silent then again, thinking about the mountain of tasks laid out before them. They would eventually have to go and make nice with the other villages - or at least see where they stood with them. She had no idea if they would all get along, or if war ravaged some of the villages the same as they had previous ones. Either way, they were sure to find out soon enough. "When do you plan on contacting the other villages? I feel like we should let them know whose in power here sooner rather than later - and assess the situation. There's no telling the standing the other villages are in with each other, and I'm sure you as well as I do not want caught up in a war if we can help it."

Amara floated over beside him, giving extra care to her tea. She then answered the question, making him smile. Of course she loved it, he did too. She was right, it really did feel like the first home he had since Denryu. "I'm glad, because I'm happy too." He said smiling sweetly. He ran his hand through the end of her hair, the silky touch was nice. Amara being the smart one again, brought up the other villages and getting a grasp on the state of things down there. She was right of course, they needed to act sooner rather than later. "I felt we could make it a top priority. The more we know about their relations with us and each other, the easier it will be to be safe here. I don't want to go to war anytime soon. I've had enough of that in my lifetime to last me a while." He spoke honestly, as he was tired of the constant death and conflict that had happened in his past.

"Should we make a personal appearance? I don't want to leave, but I'm not sure they would take anyone else seriously. I think we should be respectful and inform them of our presence her, so if that means I have to travel, then I will." He spoke with a tone that he had lacked for some time. Duty and protecting your home didn't matter when you traveled as a wanderer, so this was a refreshing experience to say the least. He would take another sip of his tea, thinking of different people he could take as escorts. He wanted to go ahead and get this done, so he could come back and build this place up to even greater heights of prosperity.

He would notice one of his ninja checking the area, just to be safe. The people here appreciated his leadership, as it was far from a hostile takeover. Isao and Amara were to mature for such tactics. They showed respect to the people, offering to teach them in the many ways of fighting they both knew. It was a partnership that he expected to be quite fruitful for both sides.

Amara smiled more as she felt him run his fingers through the bottom of her hair: it felt nice, plus she simply enjoyed him touching her in general. This spot they sat in was quite relaxing too, so it helped her to maintain a calm demeanor even when talking about such a serious issue. She thought over his question carefully, deciding that making a personal appearance would likely be for the best. "I think we should go ourselves.Together. A show of power goes a long way. We don't know who we're dealing with, yet, so it's best to be safe than sorry. I'm placed enough fuuninjutsu seals around the village to alert me of any potential danger while we're gone - plus, my father will be here, so the village will be safe while we're gone."

Of course this was more than just a show of power. She didn't like the idea of Isao, even as powerful as he was, wandering into what could potentially be enemy territory with anything less than the best... considering Amara could down a group of men just by allowing her passive shock to reign free that made her one o fthe best the village had to offer - even if she would never verbally admit it. She wasn't one to brag, after all...

"I found an old map of this region. As well as basic information on the various villages, their names, previous leadership, resources. It's basic, none of the indepth knowledge we'll recieve by actually going there and doing the meet and greet, but it's a good bit to go on for now." Amara thought over what she had memorized so far. "Outside of us there are four other ninja villages, and then a wasteland area ruled by no one - it's dangerous in general just because of the climate, and I don't really see a point of us going there. The actual villages though are Morigakure, Umigakure, Sabakugakure, and a place called Kurayamigakure. The latter of those four I'm not entirely sure about - the books say it was once run by a organization that called themselves Nightmare and which was destroyed near a century ago. It says nothing about it being rebuilt however, so we'll have to ask and look around and see I suppose. Morigakure has the best building resources with all of the trees around. They're surrounded not only with a forest but natural water sources which gives them glorious protections like what we have here with our floating village. Sabakugakure is in the desert - some of the best glass makers around. Umigakure... well that's a bit of a mystery really. It's rumored those people can breath underwater due to their village being built mostly beneath the ocean. Not... entirely sure how we'll visit there... I personally cannot breath underwater save for a jutsu, but I'll think of something."

Amara thought a minute before responding. She was wise beyond her years and she was absolutely right. The fuuinjutsu seals would respond if the village was attacked and Raijin was here, and Isao knew he could handle anything thrown at him. His wife then continued with her findings, including everything they needed to make this happen. Isao didn't know what he would do without her. He smiled as she started to recite the information she read, giving details as she went. Five villages total was a good number, and the wasteland sounded like a pain. Kurayamigakure was basically an unknown, but life as a shinobi made you prepare for such things. Morigakure sounded nice and prosporous. He needed to keep them in mind for trading and the like. Sabakugakure was in the desert, and while that was the opposite of what Isao liked, he wouldn't mind a quick visit. Wait, an underwater village? Flashbacks of Denryugakure flashed through his head, but he quickly shook it off. That was going to be weird.

"Wow baby, you were prepared. I'd say we have plenty to do. As for breathing underwater, most of my home village was underwater before it was destroyed. I don't personally know any of those jutsu, but it wouldn't be hard for me to create a variant of it. I already know the basic workings of it." He spoke, trying to be useful while also planning where to go first. "In relation to the four, which is closest to Soragakure's current position?" He asked, hoping it was somewhere nice. They would have to go to Umigakure last to give him time for his jutsu. He also needed to create a way of personal flight, considering he was the Kage of a floating village. So many things to do on top of paperwork, but he was motivated to get it done.

Amara couldn't help but grin happily at his compliment of how prepared she had been: she was simply trying to make his job as easy as she could. He had enough on his plate, enough work to do, so the little bits here and there that she could do to help she was more than willing to accomplish.

To Isao's comment about breathing underwater, and coming up with a jutsu effective like that she nodded her head thoughtfully. "I should probably come up with something like that... of course, the water village might not want all that much to do with me. I'm going to have to be very careful about my passive shock. I can control it, I'm good at it... but even the slightest bit of static would likely make all of them feel highly uncomfortable. I don't want to come across as being threatening when we're there for diplomatic reasons." It was a true concern for Amara; she had no intentions of causing an accidental war. Though, the chances of them winning said war against a place filled with water was high... still. She didn't want to go that route. She wanted peace if peace could be maintained.

She then thought about Isao's other question: which was closest outside of the water village? "Hm. That would be the desert village Sabaku. Kurayami is directly attached to it, though the desert stretches on for many miles so on foot it would still likely be a bit of a journey. Nothing too long for either of us though given how fast we move."

Isao's face showed the slightest hint of worry as she spoke of the water village's potential hesistation towards her. "Don't worry hun, you are in control and they will be respectful no matter how uncomfortable they might be." He spoke honestly, knowing that she would understand what he meant. "I'm sure they will like you. It will show them that we absolutely come in peace, as attacking the place would be simple for the two of us." He said, realizing the damage the two of them could do to a place like that. They would need to be careful while they visited that village in particular. Amara then stated that Sabaku was first, followed by Kurayami. "The Desert it is then. I'm ready when you are." He said smiling at her relaxed expression.

He looked up at the peak of the village, where the administration complex lied. "Give me a second to check on things." He activated the Byakugan in his right eye, giving him perfect site, or the closest thing too it. He studied what the various ninja and assistants were doing, making sure nothing worrisome was going on. "Seems quiet, so it looks like we will be free to leave when we wish. We need to at least send a message to Raijin first." He was sure the man would appreciate it, and he could handle whatever happened in their absence.

Amara thought over Isao's words dealing with the water village and knew him to be right. A show of reigning in her power in an effort to keep them safe would work two fold: it would show that they had no hostile intentions while at the same time proving just how dead an enemy they could be were they to be crossed. Not that Amara had any intentions of destroying yet another water village... one had been enough. The screams, the smell, it would all haunt her for the rest of her life. It wasn't something she intended on repeating unless someone tried to attack them first.

Isao then agreed that the desert would be their first stop, which caused her to smile a bit in a playful manner. "Maybe I'll be able to work on my tan while we're there...", she said jokingly before falling silent so that he could use his dojutsu to scan the village and ensure everything was as it should be.

When he mentioned sending her father a letter she thought quickly and then created a small dragon made entirely out of raiton. She looked the thing in the eyes for a moment and spoke clearly "Find my father. Tell him Isao and I are leaving the village for a bit, and that he should keep an eye on things while we're gone. We're going to make nice with the other villages and find out additional information." The small dragon bowed once to her and then flew off into the air, clearly homing in on her father's chakra signature and his own potent raiton affinity. "There we go, that message won't be delivered to anyone but him."

Isao smiled at Amara's comment. She was beautiful just as she was, of course, but she was clearly teasing him. She then created a little Raiton dragon made of chkara. She spoke to it, giving it a message for her father to keep an eye on things. He was always surprised at just how creative the girl was with her power. Most people would die for the abilities she has, and yet it didn't effect her at all. She really was one of a kind. He would wait before the little creature floated off, speaking up afterwards. "Wow honey, good thought!" Raijin was more than capable of handling things while he was away, so he didn't have to worry about his new found home.

He made a mental note to meet more of the ninja in the village. He had met the important figure heads and some of the regular village members, yet he didn't know some of the Chunnin and Genin. He wanted to be an involved Kage, showing personal interest in each and every one of his ninja. He would just have to make this trip quick, as there was plenty to do in Soragakure as well. He just hoped it grew to be the village he imagined it could.

A kid could be seen rolling through the streets of the village. He moved fast, so at best, most only caught a glimpse. Those that did see him could only imagine what the device that had wheels on the bottom of it actually was. Sometimes the kid would jump and perform tricks with the device, spinning and twirling it expertly under his feet before landing and continuing on.

"A village in the air, heh..."

"Yeah, sucks so far."

"Well, if all else fails, then maybe we can harvest some body parts. Katto & Sashimasu thirst, it's been so long since they've pierced flesh and drank warm, fresh blood..."

"You really are fucked in the head, Tanken."

Misaki Yata was new here. He was being followed by Tanken, his guardian. Due to his Chameleion ability, no one else could see or hear Tanken except for Misaki while it was active. Since his village had been destroyed, he was currently looking for another place to inhabit, and a giant, floating island was looking the most interesting at the moment. Except, he wasn't seeing anyone else who looked like they could put up a fight.

For the moment, Misaki continued rolling around the village, catching the eye of pedestrians and other kids...

Soragakure was quite a peaceful little village: Oto had loved the place since she had first arrived. Of course, most places could be considered 'peaceful' to those without the proper ability to hear - Oto was deaf, at least in the normal way, so the world around her had been silent since her birth. She made due though, and would continue to do so, especially with a recently discovered ability that she was still learning about.

For now she wasn't thinking about though, instead she was simply watching where she was going as she made her way barefoot through the streets. She was dressed as she had her entire life under the tutalage of the monks - a black top that clung to her chest and showed off her mid-drift to allow for maximum movement, along with a pair of grayish white capri lengthed pants that were quite baggy and which hung a little low on her hips. Her long black hair was back in a ponytail, and her Soragakure headband was around her waist as if it were a belt.

Her status as a Genin in the village did little to stop the bullies and idiots who tried to pick on her for her handicap - mostly kids who saw her trying to use sign language to speak to the other villagers - and sure enough just as she spotted a familiar female face (Amara had been the one to help her register properly within the village as a Genin after all) she became quite aware of the vibrations coming behind her - teasing speech patterns from the several teenage boys coming up behind her, apparently trying to sneaking no less.

"I'm going to grab her from behind, you two take her hitai-ate! Then we'll all scatter!" the leader of the little punk group was stating, not bothering to keep his voice down. Thankfully, he was close enough that Oto /heard/ everything with her new vibration sensory, and understood it clearly.

"She'll never know what hit her!"

"That'll teach the little deaf girl not to play at ninja!" The two boys went to the sides of Oto who finally paused to give them a chance to try and put their action into play. Her body remained loose, her breathing and mind calm: this was going to be nothing more to her than another training exercise like the kind the monks used to give her back home. The boys rushed her, seemingly in time with each other, though through her sensory she could tell the one to her left was a half second slower than the one on her right. Just as the boys would have got within an arm and a half's length of her Oto put both of her arms out and shot a pulse of sonic vibration from her hands, staggering both backwards and causing the third - who had been about to try running up behind her - to skid to a stop and look confused. Oto turned then, staring at him, and waiting to see what he would do next, while his two friends tried to stagger to their feet.

Amara couldn't help but smile at the compliment, especially since it had matched her own when her father had showed her how to do that in the first place. "Actually, it was my father who taught me how to do that, dear... but I'll pass the compliment along." Amara then paused in speaking, noticing that something was distracting several of the passerbys - not exactly an easy task since they were so used to living on a village that hovered more than a mile above the earth: strangeness for them was nearly an every day kind of thing.

Amara followed their gaze to the male riding something... strange. Curiosity flared in the Jounin's eyes before yet another scene began to unfold that caused her attention to sway. A girl, one Amara was familiar with since she had helped the deaf female with the paperwork, was being followed by three teenage boys. The three boys were talking loudly, clearly plotting some sort of attack on the female and thinking her helpless. Knowing that Isao's protective instincts would cause him to rise to such an occasion were he to notice she would gently place her hand on his arm to stop him. "Those boys are about to be taught a very severe lesson. If I remember correctly that is Oto Hoshi. The girl is deaf, but by no means helpless. She lived in a monastary with a bunch of monks who taught her how to fight before deciding to settle in here - they all thought it was best to further her education. I over saw her tests and training myself... she uses sound with deadly results even though she was raised as a pacifist.", Amara would explain in hushed tones, keeping her voice quiet enough not to be overheard by the boys clearly about to get their asses handed to them.

Sure enough, Oto sent the two who were trying to attack her from the sides flying with just a push of her hands, and then turned to the third one... Oto didn't seem like the kind to strike first, so Amara assumed the girl was waiting to defend herself. Either way, this would turn out interesting...

Isao smiled back at his girl before a new scene unfolded before them. A young girl walked along a path, not bothering anyone or causing any trouble. Then, some morons decided that she needed to be messed with. He could hear their voices as they planned their prank, but the Kage wasn't about to let it happen. However, Amara stopped him with her voice. Her hand would come to rest on his arm. Apparently, she already knew the young shinobi and knew well that she was in no trouble. Against his nature, he returned back to a calm stance before nodding. Had anyone else to him this, he might have ignored them. However, Amara was the one person he trusted above all else. He decided to let the scenario play out.

Just as she predicted, two of the boys ran in from the sides, but was pushed back by what seemed to be sound waves. Had he not seen it himself, he wouln't have believed that the girl controlled sound. Both teens hit the ground before the third stopped in his tracks. The girl would stand there, ready for the next stage of stupidity from these guys. Isao chuckled at the girls power and well trained movements. These guys were out of their league and they now knew it. "I see a lot of potential in her. She's got the skills." He would speak ever so softly to her, trying not to disturb the girl as she defended herself.

"Well lookie what we have here, maybe I spoke too soon! Looks like someone wants their ass kicked!" said Yata, changing directions.

"...Right. Or, maybe you just have an eye for that girl," responded Tanken, which made Yata frown.

"Get real!" Yata's respond caused a laugh from his invisible guardian.

Yata and Tanken had seen the whole thing play out. The bullies and their little plan, and the girl that they would attempt to carry it out on. It was stupid, and demonstrated that the girl, who they just said was deaf, was able to defend herself with something Yata couldn't quite see. Nevertheless, Yata was itching for a little action, and 3 on 1 wasn't fair.

Yata was descending upon the scene about the same time that the two boys were pulling themselves to their feet. He went airborne with an evil grin that seemed plastered to his face, going to his left in a 360 spin. Both of his feet met the chins of the boys who'd went down and got back up, sending them crashing off of their feet and flying in either direction to crash and roll several times. His skateboard slammed into the face of the boy who'd skidded to a stop, instantly drawing blood. He spilled backwards yelping.

Yata caught his board with his feet and landed expertly upon the wheels. He caused the board to do a wheelie, skidding to a stop on the pavement to look back and fourth, then to the kid on the ground who was nursing a bloody nose. The sight of blood caused Tanken to have a strange reaction that Yata had seen too many times. None of the boys were trying to get up and retaliate, which disappointed Yata.

Still, he grinned evily at them. "Ehh, I thought you fuckers would have put up more of a fight! It takes 3 of you for just one girl, eh!? Why don't you try that on me, assholes!? I'll take all 3 of you fuck faces at the same time!"

"I call dibs on the left overs," added Tanken, but only Yata would hear him. "Mmmm, leftovers..."

A New Home [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: A New Home [Open]   A New Home [Open] EmptyTue Jul 12, 2016 7:04 pm

Oto's main focus was on the third of the guys - the ring leader so to speak. She had been about to concern herself with the two she had pushed off of their feet but who seemed bent on getting back up again, but just then she noticed the arrival of another. She was about to think she was really in for it had it not been for the fact that instead of joining the three who had been planning to attack her this individual took it upon himself to begin to attack the guys who had just been about to get on their feet. He was quick, that was for sure, and seemed to be using some kind of tool he was riding upon to help him. Certainly strange to her due to her mostly sheltered life.

She couldn't think about it for long though, as the third was still up and more than capable of fighting were he to choose to do so. He looked put off though by this new arrival, let alone by what Oto had done that he didn't understand at all, so he said nothing at first and simply looked between the two and then his two buddies who had been laid out so easily.

The new arrival seemed to be egging them on, while Oto's own choice was to avoid a fight as much as possible: which was precisely why what she had done to them had caused as little harm as she could manage. Had she hit them with an actual attack while using that the damage would have been so much worse and they would not have stood a chance of getting back up without the help of a medic. "You idiots! Get back up and whoop that guys ass! You gonna let him get the jump on you like that!?!" the leader of the little group yelled before deciding to try and rush himself at Oto at his full speed. As per her fighting style Oto simply remained still until he was close, and then turned in a circle dodging out of the way, leaving herself facing his back as he ran past her and attempted to skid to a stop before he got too close to the kid with the strange board: a look of fear crossing his face.

Instead of attempting to speak, or communicate some way, Oto simply watched as the other two attempted to get back to their feet so they could take another swing at this new individual. Oto felt sorry for them - she had a feeling they'd be shown no mercy.

Isao remained by her side, clearly heeding her advice which made her smile a bit despite the situation at hand. The girl handled herself flawlessly, as did the individual with the strange board who had been nearby and who obviously had decided to involve himself in the situation at hand. He attacked the two teenagers before they could properly get back up and attempt to attack the girl, and that itself caused Amara to remain where she had been and simply watch. He was posing no threat toward the girl, simply the bullies, and while he clearly outclassed them Amara did happen to believe a bit in karma. These boys were simply getting exactly what she knew they had dealt out to others - even if the scale was a bit higher this time around.

"Those who cause trouble often bring it to their own door..." she muttered softly, not loud enough to be heard except by the most sensitive ears, or those who were incredibly close by.

Amara kept watch as the leader of the little group attempted to rush at Oto, who seemed to just stand still and wait. Sure enough though at the last second she turned off to the side, out of the way, in a move that left her facing the kids back as he attempted to stop himself from colliding with Yata. What would the kid with the strange board do now? Would this beat down continue? The others were trying to get back up as per their orders after all.

A young man on some type of device rolled onto the scene and proceeded to make the sides a bit more even. A grin on his face, Isao would have done the same at that age. He watched as the two shinobi held their own and proved quite strong. There as an obvious difference in style and attitudes, but both were polished and confident. He decided to sit back, listening to Amara's words with a chuckle. He couldn't have said it better himself. "Indeed. A painful lesson to learn." He said as he continued to smile. Oto had moved out of the way, causing the leader of the punks to head toward the boy. He was sure the man would use some unique technique to make him sorry, but he would intervene if it got too rough. He didn't want any deaths here, not that it would escalate to that.

Who Yata figured had to be the leader of the group of bullies didn't take to kindly to Yata's interference. He yelled at them to get up and keep fighting, then rushed in towards the girl himself, only to have her skillfully dodge out of his way, leaving him to come face to face with Yata. The other guys weren't looking too eager to go another round with him.

Yata was about to say something, until Tanken deactivated his Chameleon. A large person could be seen hunched behind Yata.  He was crouched, but was still well over 6 feet tall. Were Tanken to stand straight up, he would tower above everyone at nearly 9 feet. Tanken looked like something out of a nightmare. He was dressed completely in black, dressed like some sort of unholy Ninja from hell, with a red belt, red hood and scarf that blew around in a wind that wasn't blowing. Nothing could be seen of Tanken's face except darkness and glowing blue eyes.

Tanken:

Tanken didn't stick around too long. He did that mostly to intimidate and scare people before slipping back into his Chameleon status. Most likely, the bullies would have never seen something like that before, and would probably run away pissing their pants. In which case Yata would just frown.

"God dammit Tanken, I had this! Why pull that boogieman shit now? These shitheads are nothing!" was Yata's protest.

"Because," said Tanken in a serious tone now, indicating that he was all business and no joke. "Compared to those goldfish, there are a couple of sharks nearby. Be warned." Yata stopped frowning and looked at Tanken, then to where he was looking, to see a man and a woman. For Tanken to sound as serious as he did, they had to be powerhouses, possibly some of the people who were in charge of this flying island.

Yet Yata only smirked. Were they here to do something to him because of what he'd just done? Time would tell...

Oto was expecting the male with the strange board to end up giving the leader of the little group of bullies the same kind of beat down he'd given his lackeys - Oto wasn't personally all for the violent touch, but she wouldn't shame others who were since she believed they all followed their own path of life. Yet, that wasn't what happened. Instead, she suddenly became very aware of the large appearance of... something. This creature, whatever it was, looked like the kind of monsters the monks used to whisper about; the kind in stories who would snatch people up in the middle of the night and murder them for sport. It was nothing that Oto wanted to get too close to at the moment: who knew if it would turn its attention onto her once the bullies were dealt with?

Even as sure as she was in her skills and abilities she found herself taking a step backward to put some distance between herself and this...thing. However, it wasn't long before it disappeared, not just turning invisible but disappearing completely from even her extra vibration sensory. She couldn't detect it's presence at all, but it seemed that Yata could - as unless it was her imagination she caught him looking in a particular direction soon after the bullies went running off while in the middle of pissing on themselves, before he ended up looking toward who she knew to be Amara and who she assumed due to the outfit to be the Kage of the village.

She saw a smirk on Yata's face. Did he know who they were? Did he intend on causing them trouble next? Oto didn't know, but she suddenly found herself feeling very embarrassed for nearly causing harm to what were likely civilians and not actual shinobi like herself. Was she about to get in trouble for defending herself? Amara and her companion looked calm enough, but looks could be deceiving, and the very idea that Oto could have potentially caused herself some trouble just as she was beginning her career as a shinobi was cringe worthy.

Even if that were the case, and she was about to be given an earful for her actions, she would bow respectfully to the two much higher ranked shinobi, hoping they took it for what it was: a sign of deep respect. All the while in the back of her mind she couldn't help but think that she might end up being shipped back off to the monks with the story of her failure at her heels. What would the monks think? If she shamed them all for violence when they had taught her all of her life to always use violence as a last resort?

Something, Amara wasn't precisely sure what, made its appearance known suddenly. It didn't feel like a bijuu - her own stirring awake at Amara's sudden burst of curiosity and weariness - and yet it did feel powerful. What was this creature? Before Amara could even begin to truly wonder and guess at what such a being could be it was suddenly gone: disappearing back to what Amara assumed was where it came since she could not sense the thing at all. Even her bijuu, as strong as the dragon was, was clueless as to where such a creature had suddenly gone.

Amara frowned slightly inwardly, while outwardly a mask of perfect calmness came upon her face - it was her game face so to speak: what potential problems saw so that they could not detect what she was thinking or feeling at the time. The male with the strange board looked over in their direction, as if suddenly noticing them, and smirked yet made no threatening gesture.

The girl, on the other hand, suddenly looked very worried about them being there, even ashamed, as she bowed to them suddenly in what was clearly to be a show of respect. Amara hated bowing: she hated the idea of being above someone. She treated everyone as her equal and knew Isao to do the same. So bowing? Pleasegodstop. "No need for the bowing Oto. It seems you showed those bullies what they had coming to them... an interesting fighting style for sure.", her gaze would shift from Oto to Yata, as she stood and took several steps forward while speaking so that she could better be heard. She kept her passive shock reigned in so it couldn't be felt, but either way she brought the smell of ozone - like freshly cracked lightning - with her. "What's your name, young man?", Amara asked curiously. She had no intentions of telling them off for what they did - the kids were still alive even if battered and terrified so there was no reason to yell. Yet, she was still curious the name of the individual who used such methods of fighting so effectively.

Suddenly, the boy was surrounded by a massive figure. He was easily the largest person Isao had seen, and he seemed to be quite powerful. "Now isn't that something." He would comment to Amara, knowing she probably was already aware of it's strength. With the boys running for the hills, The giant suddenly disappeared, impressing Isao instantly. He couldn't detect a trace of it, which was saying something. Soon after, the boy would look and smirk at the two of them. Well, it seemed they were spotted. The girl soon gathered their location and bowed, causing Amara to speak. They both hated bowing, way to formal for their tastes. Isao found it awkward too. "Agreed. I am Isao Sakebi, the Sorakage. You did quite well." He spoke honestly as both of the two in front of him had massive potential.

He would keep pace with Amara, showing no signs of aggression. His bow was still resting on his back and he looked relaxed. His partner then asked the boy what his name was. While the girl seemed humble, the boy was a different story. His moves in battle were confident and he showed no signs of reigning in that confidence. He looked to the device the shinobi had, wondering about it's mechanics momentarily. "The style you use is unique, where did you learn it?" He had never seen anything like it, and that made him a bit curious.

PostSubject: Re: A New Home [Open]   A New Home [Open] EmptyWed Jul 13, 2016 8:19 am

After looking pretty shaken up at Tanken's appearance, the girl bowed to the two, signaling that they were the ones who had to be in charge. But Yata bowed to no one. He continued to stand up straight, stomping the back of his board, causing it to flip several times before he caught it and tucked it under his left arm.

As they stared coming closer, Yata scratched the side of his head with his left hand. To anyone else, it would just appear that Yata was scratching his head. In reality this was a silent signal to Tanken to inform Yata what he was up against.

"Alright then, let's see what we're dealing with here," Tanken responded from within Chameleion, catching the signal. "The male... Kage. Leader. He is strong, fast, tough, has great eyesight and vast reserved of chakra. He has some sort of weapon with him... a bow." Tanken smelled the air several times. He sounded more like he was blowing his nose rather than sniffing. "...He smells like Raiton. He also smells like... Suiton. There is also a hint of... Fuuton. He doesn't look very old, but he's no push over. You will have your hands full if you were to fight him."

Next was the female. There was something with her, because even Tanken took a step back. Yata looked from them to him; to ordinary eyes he'd be looking at something that wasn't there. Yata had only seen Tanken like this a couple of times before, around only the strongest people. "...The female is even worse," Tanken continued. "S-Rank Jounin. Speed, strength, toughness, eyesight and chakra reserves, all at their peak..." Tanken smelled the air again. "She REEKS of Raiton... There's... Suiton and Fuuton too, just like the male, but I can barely smell them because of the Raiton... She's saturated in it..."

Sense of Strength:

Tanken looked closer, and backed up even more. "Yata, keep your distance... she's carrying a tailed beast. I can't guarantee your safety in a fight with her."

If Tanken was saying this, then it had to be true. He did as he was told; as they came forward, Yata stepped backwards. Even with what Tanken had told him, he wasn't afraid, he had nothing to lose. Yata tossed his board upwards. Tanken appeared very briefly to catch it before vanishing again. Tanken appeared again to drop him another board before again vanishing. This was a special board constructed by some of the last Assassins, brought out for the more serious threats. It was put together with some of the hardest metals known to man, and also diamonds. Tanken appeared once more to drop Yata his weapon before again vanishing; his Trusty Bat.

Assassin Board:

Trusty Bat:

The female asked his name, and the male asked what style he used. "What's it to you, huh?" was Yata's response. "Trying to milk me for what you can before making a move, is that it?" He gripped his trusty Bat with his right hand while standing posed on the Assassin Board, ready to dart off in any direction. They were both strong and fast, Yata didn't doubt that, but he had a few tricks he'd picked up of his own; tricks that would let him go toe to toe with even Kage and S-Ranks.

"If helping a girl who was getting bullied 4 to 1 is against the law then fuck jail! I don't live here! Bring it on, mother fuckers!"

A New Home [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: A New Home [Open]   A New Home [Open] EmptyWed Jul 13, 2016 8:59 am

As Oto straightened herself up she became very aware of the fact that the male who had helped her showed no sign of having bowed to either of the two who were approaching. Even though they both stated they didn't like bowing it was a sign of respect that had been ingrained in Oto: not something she could easily just stop, though she would make it an effort from that point on to try as to not offend them. Neither Amara, nor the Sorakage seemed angry with what had just happened either, which again was strange to her. She was so used to living in an environment completely against violence that to suddenly be in one where certain reasons behind it were okay was still a bit disorientating. Perhaps it was something she would have to study more on later when she was again alone.

Both seemed curious about the male, asking him what his name was, as well as inquiring about his fighting style. She glanced over to him, noticing him looking off again in a particular direction for no particular reason at all: she was becoming more and more convinced that whatever that thing was that had appeared before was still there, simply invisible in a way that it could not be seen or sensed. Oto watched, further curious, as Yata tossed his board up into the air for the thing to suddenly appear and catch it. This creature vanished, then appeared again, dropping another board and then something else down to the male. Instead of giving the Sorakage and Amara the information they were seeking he seemed to be refusing. He also seemed to be under the impression that because he had helped her he was going to jail - something he clearly wasn't going to do willingly.

Oto folded her arms over her chest, looking back toward the Sorakage and Amara; all while thinking it would have been a grand idea to stay inside today and simply read a book instead of venturing about. Was she about to go to jail, too? Was this all an act to lure them into a false sense of security? Or was the male with the strange board simply taking things out of context? She wasn't entirely sure, and that made her quite uneasy.
