As they moved closer Yata moved further away after creature appeared, took something from Yata, and then disappeared again. He didn't stay gone, however, as he appeared and dropped two other items down to Yata. Amara fell completely still, watching and listening. Oto seemed suddenly uncomfortable with the situation, made more so by Yata's response to their questions. The young man seemed convinced that he was in some kind of trouble, and likely about to go to jail. He mentioned that he didn't live here, and told them to bring it on.

Amara simply grinned a bit, keeping her stance relaxed, and folding her arms across her chest. She had no intentions of getting into a fight with anyone, let alone throwing anyone into jail. "You seem to misunderstand. I have no intentions of throwing you in jail, nor punishing you in any way. As far as I'm concerned those idiots got what they deserved for thinking they could pick on someone simply because they're deaf. In fact, you're free to go if you'd like... I was simply interested, however, in how someone came to posses such great skill as was the Sorakage here. We've never seen something quite like that before..."

She wanted to ask him several other questions, such as where he was from, and what exactly that thing was that kept appearing around him. Yet, she withheld herself. If he wouldn't answer something as simple as his name then she highly doubted she'd get anything else out of him. For now starting small seemed to be better...

He looked from one young kid to another, waiting for the kids response. The boy threw his board up in the air, only for it to be caught by that same odd creature. It would drop two things before the boy spoke. While a tad rude, he seemed to be under the wrong impression. However, Amara spoke up, explaining the situation. Her voice was calm and her expression was kind. She was correct, as they were free to go and he had no intentions of throwing anyone in jail. "The thing that I love about Soragakure is that no one can force you to do anything here. You have free will and everyone here saw that you two were not causing trouble." He was once again speaking to the boy, but the sentence applied to the young deaf girl as well.

He would turn to Amara with his eyes a bit worried. The young boy seemed to be rather sporadic and did not trust the duo, though otherwise harmless. He just hoped it stayed that way, as he didn't want to have to fight the boy over a misunderstanding. Isao would remain silent at this point, allowing Amara to do most of the talking. He didn't want to set off any tempers here.

"Yata... how about you take a look at them with those eyes of yours... If they truly mean no harm then there's no need to be hasty... If they're lying... well. Perhaps Katto and Sashimasu can get that drink we talked about earlier..."

The girl didn't say anything and folded her arms. The woman said there weren't going to be any repercussions behind that brief fight, and that he was free to go. She said she was only interested in his skills. The Kage said everyone had free will, and that spectators saw that it wasn't them causing trouble. Tanken suggested that Yata look at them with "those eyes" to see if what they were saying was genuine. Yata did as he suggested, blinking once, and glancing about at the 3 standing around.

Eagle Vision:

All of them were colored blue. This meant that they had no ill intentions. If they had, they would be colored red, which mean that they were lying; that they were going to try something once his guard was down. Unless they had knowledge of Eagle Vision, which he highly doubted since there were barely any Assassins left, they wouldn't be able to fool his sight. It had never let him down in the past.

Yata closed his eyes, knowing now that they meant no harm, even with as powerful as Tanken painted them. Yata didn't like standing around, making friends and telling stories of his past. "Keh, this is starting to blow," he said, relaxing his stance. "Tanken you like telling stories to random people, why don't you fill them in?" Yata kicked forward and spun around, speeding off down the street. He jumped and performed several tricks, expertly spinning the board around beneath him in the air before landing and rolling on...

Tanken appeared again. He was crouched, resting his forearms on his thighs. Tanken sighed, sounding like some otherworldly creature while glowing blue eyes look down at the three. Pedestrians in the area turned to look at the large... whatever he was, some of them frozen to the spot, some running away. Tanken didn't like making appearances in public if he wasn't killing, nor did he like talking to other people. But if Yata commanded, he had to comply...

"...I will answer whatever questions you may have," said Tanken, his voice deep, raspy, slimy like a monster. "...Without giving away too many secrets better left secret, of course..."

Oto listened as Amara explained that no one was in trouble or going to jail. She said that the kids got what they had coming to them by thinking they could pick on Oto simply becuase of her handicap. It made Oto smile inwardly a bit; she wasn't as deaf as people though, though she gave no outward sign of this. She had yet to tell anyone about her ability outside of the monks because she secretly feared being used as a tool to someone's benefit. So, she simply watched everyone's mouth's moves as they went about the conversation, figuring she could at least for a while play off being good at lip reading.

The Sorakage seemed to agree with Amara's words, saying that everyone saw the pair had not been the ones causing trouble. Oto glanced at the male on the strange board only to find him seeming to be uninterested in what was going on. In fact, after he said something to the invisible creature he seemed to take off. Was he leaving? Or was he just messing around on that strange board?

The thing appeared again, and said that it would answer any questions they had, provided it didn't cause him to give away secrets. Oto stayed silent; she couldn't exactly speak, and had no idea if anyone knew sign language or not. She had caused enough trouble with her exploring today, so she didn't want to cause anymore. Still though, she lingered... curious. Very curious.

Oto remained quiet and reserved; Amara expected as much considering her situation. The girl had been rather quiet during her testing as well, even when near people who could use sign langauge just as well as her. Yata, however, seemed to show a certain disregard to things in general; even going so far as to leave the creature behind to answer questions for him - which it seemed willing to do provided they didn't ask the wrong ones. Amara was amused more than annoyed at this point, so willing to humor the situation a bit longer.

"I was curious where such skills were learned... as well as that young man's name, yours as well... I've not yet come across a creature such as you in my travels - and they've taken me quite far."

Inside of her she could feel her own inner beast stirring. The dragon was not pleased she was so close to such a creature; one it knew nothing about. Her inner dragon was protective at best, but he was behaving himself for now - however, he was definitely watching as was indicated by Amara's eyes turning yellow and slit like, much like the dragon's sealed within her. Still, she kept her passive stance, and relaxed nature, along with keeping her passive shock reigned in and completely under control. She was still in charge after all.

The boy did not stick around long, speaking again to the invisible creature before taking off on his odd device. He watched as the titan like creature appeared again. He had to admit, a longer look at it made it that much more impressive. Part of him wanted to activate his Byakugan to check it out, but he resisted. He didn't want to show any aggressiveness after it offered to answer questions. Oto remained silent, curiously watching the situation before them.

Amara spoke up again, obviously entertained by the unique creature in front of them. They had been many places in their travels, but even they had not seen a technique like this before. She would speak, asking everything that he would have. It was funny, he was the Kage, but she had the personality more suited for it. However she helped, he was just glad that she did so after all the years of travel. "I don't mean to be rude, but I wanted to add a question to that. What are you exactly?" He didn't want to offend the giant, but he couldn't help his curiosity. He understood that not all information needed to be known though, so he was fine with the creature's conditions.

He glanced over to his wife to see the change in her eyes. It seemed the dragon beneath the surface was also curious, making it's presence slightly known. It was a tad overprotective like Isao, so they tended to get along when they got a chance to talk. He would smile, deciding to let Tanken answer any questions he wanted before they continued.

The usual questions... ones Yata always left him behind to answer... Tanken didn't mind. No matter how far away Yata went, Tanken would find him easily. Yata's attitude and brashness prevented him from getting close to or friendly with anyone, so sometimes Tanken found himself being the "Older brother" of sorts.

"Tanken," he said, pointing to himself. "...I am Tesaki, minions from a world parallel to this one... I am not a tailed beast, like the one you carry inside of you." Tanken pointed down at Amara. "...Long ago, a contract was forged between a clan and Tesaki... The clan was weak and pitiful... The Tesaki were bored of aimlessly wandering our dead world... We would aid the clan, and they would cure our boredom... Thus, Clan Tesaki was created. All born into Clan Tesaki are given guardians, like me..."

"He is Misaki... Yata. He does not like being called Misaki. I am his guardian... The skills you speak of, he did not learn them from someone else, he taught himself... Yata is the fusion of two clans... Clan Tesaki... and the Assassins, if such can be called a clan. The Assassins are nearly extinct...  Assassins are... "special." The small demonstration Yata just gave should be proof enough..."

Tanken shifted his stance and sighed again, blinking those 2 glowing blue eyes. "...More questions?..."

The creature called him Tanken, and said that he was something called a Tesaki which was a creature from a world that was parallel to their own. A pact had been forged long ago between such creatures and some of the people from this world which was how the creature and those like him had come to be here. He also said something that Oto would have been blind to miss: he wasn't a tailed beast like the one Amara carried inside of her?! She had a tailed beast? Oto had heard stories of such creatures, and none of them were very good. These were beasts of great power, very hard to control, and very dangerous.

Yet... Amara didn't seem like that at all. In fact, Amara came across as kind, though Oto was sure she was hiding some serious raiton ability given the smell around her all of the time.

Tanken then went on to say that the individual with the board was named Misaki Yata, though he hated being called Misaki: that he had taught himself the skills he used just now. That had answered pretty much all that Oto had been curious about, though she looked toward the Sorakage and Amara to see if they would ask anymore.

Amara absorbed all of the information like a sponge and with a very passive face: including the fact that this creature knew she had a bijuu sealed within her. It didn't put her off too badly though it was strange - most who had a bijuu sealed within them could tell that someone else did, so it really wasn't all that strange that a creature not entirely of this world could sense it too. Though, it did put her on guard of what other powers and abilities such a creature might posses. She wasn't going to bother asking - he'd likely never tell her no matter how sly she tried to ask.

"I just have one more question though it's more like two together: does... Yata... plan on sticking around the village long? I have no intentions of booting him out; in fact, with skills like his he'd be a great addition to the place. But I am curious as to his purpose, and how long he wishes to remain..." Would he be sticking around and making this his home on a permanent basis? Or would he move on somewhere else.

With skills like his, if she or Isao could convince him to find reason to be loyal to the village, they'd have yet another strong person to rely on - someone who clearly knew what they were doing.

Isao stood listening as Tanken explained his origins and how the two of them had met. It seemed like a bond that was similar to a bijuu, but with different rules and such. The creature was well spoken, and represented his people well. The mention of a Tailed Beast sent Oto's face into an expression of shock, but Isao had long known about the sealed dragon. He held back a chuckle as he continued to allow Tanken to talk. Apparently the boy's name was Misaki Yata, and he didn't like being called Misaki. Isao would nod at the information, thankful for the heads up. He explained Yata's abilities and his uniqueness, which further proved Isao's theory of grate potential. Many things about the boy were easy to like.

Amara then spoke up, asking the question that Isao himself was about to ask. He looked to her with a smile before grabbing her hand gently. "Amara is speaking for the village here. We would be lucky to have him call Soragakure home." He spoke kindly only to reinforce her sentiment and full right to make such make such an offer. He would await Tanken's response with a bit of anticipation. He could admit that he loved Yata's style and only wanted to see him grow as a shinobi.

The female asked if Yata was going to stay here. She had no plans of telling him to leave.  She went on to say he would make a great edition to the village, as they probably had few numbers. The female wanted to know his intentions.

Tanken rubbed the top of his hood. It was a difficult subject to approach. "...Yata... does not rest in one place for very long... Besides me, he does not work well with others. He has never been one to be on a team, or to take orders... Much tragedy he has seen in his short life, and much anger within him... But I sense in him a restlessness... Perhaps your flying village will be where he plants roots... for the time being at least..."

Tanken started to turn and leave, but turned back to the pair. His blue eyes were glowing brightly. "...A warning... It has been my duty to protect Yata since the moment he was conceived in the womb... If something should happen to him in your care..." A growling sound came from beneath that red scarf, still blowing in a wind that wasn't blowing. "...The Tesaki are forever... You can displace us... but you cannot kill us... I will come for you... both of you... and I will keep coming until the light of your lives are extinguished... Even in the underworld, I will come for you for all of eternity... This is not a threat, it is a promise..."

Tesaki stared at them both seriously before turning to move off, and vanishing back into Chameleon.

......

Oto couldn't imagine such a life as the one Tanken had mentioned. While Oto didn't know her parents per say, she had lived in the relative safety of the monastery the majority of her life. The monks were like her family, in fact, that was exactly how she considered them, and they had been very good to her. They had not lived richly, but they had always had what they needed to get by, and no less than that. So the kind of life that Yata had seemed to live, while she didn't have the details per say, made her feel sad for him.

Oto felt no reason to stick around anymore. She nor Yata were in trouble for what just happened, and Oto really didn't have much more to say on the subject: attempting to communicate never seemed to go over well for her. Tanken, after a clear warning to the Sorakage and his wife, seemed to also be leaving. So, in her usual silentness she too turned and headed off in the opposite direction - in the direction of home.

The guardian explained in very little detail about Yata's past, and how he carried a lot of anger around with him. He didn't work well with people, and didn't handle taking orders all that well either. He would, however, likely stick around here at least for the time being. Amara hoped he could find something to hold his interest in the village, not just for the sake fo him staying so that there was yet another strong person in the village, but because such a life was a very lonely one and no one deserved to have to go through that. At least, though, Yata had his guardian for company.

The guardian then offered up a warning, one she could respect. If something happened to Yata while he was 'in their care' so to speak he would hunt them down to the ends of the earth and beyond. To Amara's credit she didn't even grin, though her inner dragon twitched in agitation at the obvious 'promise'. "Everyone who graces this village is protected to the best of our abilities... whether they live here permanently or otherwise." Amara didn't go on to say she would die for these people, it wasn't necessary.

The guardian seemed to be leaving, as did Oto, and Amara had no reason to stop either of them. So, instead, she shifted her attention onto Isao once more as her usual kind smile formed back on her face. "Come on... I want to go exploring!~", she would say as she tightened gently her grip on his hand and tugged on his arm playfully.

Isao listened as the guardian explained more about Yata and his personality. He was firecracker, or so it seemed. The kage was glad to hear that they would be potentially be around for a while. The idea of having the pair in the village seemed like a good one, and he was more than happy to overlook a bit of snark. Tanken then gave a very serious warning to the two of them. As kage, it was his responsibility to keep his villagers safe. He knew this, and did not run from that duty. He could see the bond between the two of them, so it was not an empty threat. Whether or no he could win such a fight, he didn't want to find out. A simple not to confirm his wife's statement was all the response Isao thought necessary. It wasn't seconds before the guardian disappeared again, going back to whatever place he naturally resided.

Oto turned and walked away too, probably wanting to get as far away from this place as possible. Seeing such a creature could frighten anyone, so it was understandable. His attention moved back to Amara as she spoke. Exploring? Sounded like a plan to him. She gave a gentle squeeze as she tugged him in the direction she wanted. He followed with a genuine laugh. She really was amazing. The pair of them would head down the street and out of sight.
