General Description: Konran is highly developed for his age, having a muscular physique. He has many scars and bruises along his torso, arms and face; reminders of his training, and often wears bandages to hide these wounds. Konran has wild black hair. He normally wears black shirts and black wife beaters,  dog tags around his neck that have his name on them, fingerless black gloves, loose fitting pants, boots or sandals.








Personality: Konran is either of two emotions, confused or angry. There are many things he doesn't understand, and when something seems too much for him he flies into a rage. Konran isn't stupid by any means, and though nearly driven insane because of being raised underground, being beaten half to death at the hands of his parents in their daily training exercises, never knowing exactly who his parents were or why they were doing him this way, Konran has the judgement to know right from wrong. He is highly intelligent, having read every book given to him front to back twice, and educated extensively on the world, the other villages, shinobi, and the many other clans. it takes much to penetrate his bubble created from living in isolation, but when Konran does manage to make friends, he remains loyal to them until death.  Konran is a machine, born and bread to fight and to kill. He has no trouble taking a life, but he will not kill without reason. Konran dreams of living out in the world, and having a family just like other kids his age. Having read many stories and graphic novels, he hopes to possibly befriend a female, as he'd seen in the many stories that kept him entertained over the years.

History: Konran (which means confusion) was born to parents he never got to know. Konran didn't have the typical childhood. From a very early age he was kept locked in an underground facility designed to create super soldiers to invade other villages. This facility was shut down when the former crime syndicate in Kurayamigakure was run out and/or defeated, but the group known as "The Headbands" found and revived it and it's research.

Konran's mother was named Hotaru (Firefly). A member of the Nara clan she was a long standing member of The Headbands, and was instrumental in the take over of Kurayamigakure. Hotaru was a Kunoichi Missing Nin and primarily a physical fighter. After the discovery of the underground facility, she volunteered to bare a child for the purpose of raising it to be an experimental killing machine. She and her longtime boyfriend Setsudan, (Cutting) a mercenary and Kenjutsu expert, set about the process of trying to conceive a child.

A boy was born 9 months later. He grew up in the facility, and from the moment he could walk he began to be trained. Without knowing exactly who they were, his parents would daily beat the boy within an inch of his life; his mother through Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and Raiton, his father with Kenjutsu. Konran was given a full education by kidnapped tutors, and taught about the outside world to increase his intelligence. A guinea pig for scientists, they injected him with various agents from various other clans to see what kind of reaction they would have on him. Besides driving the boy to the brink of insanity, none seem to affect him except a serum designed to let people take advantage of Yang Release. By combining this with his Raiton, Konran came to find that he could create Light, and use it in a variety of different ways. While already having an affinity to take advantage of the Nara clan's ability to control shadows, Konran became a force to be reckoned with.

He was isolated in the labs after he began to kill the scientists and guards. Konran wasn't totally psychotic though; he let the tutors be, as they were the only ones not cruel to him. Hotaru and Setsudan began to realize that perhaps they'd created a monster, and began trying to use various remote controlled training machines to kill Konran. All of their attempts failed.

Fast forward to now. His mother and father were killed by invaders who took control of Kurayamigakure. The lab is again abandoned. Konran is left alone in the lab with nothing but his katana "Shift Blade;" a special weapon that allows him strange abilities, and practice dummies, sharpening his skills into a razor. One of the tutors unlock the door to Konran's isolation chamber before they escape...

RP Sample: Wounds, blood, exhaustion. His vision was blurred, but he could see the blood dripping to the floor. The sweat running down his arms and face felt like insects crawling on him. His breath that he was struggling to catch came in hot gasps and wheezes, making him feel like he was breathing fire.

"That all you got, Kid? Calling it quits?"

The taunt caused the rage to build. This rage gave him the energy to stand to his feet again, to rush toward this attacker to, 9 times out of 10, endure more punishment. He would be knocked down again, and there would be more blood and pain, but again he would stand, and again he would continue to charge forward. Whoever these people were, and for whatever reason they were doing this to him, Konran would not be broken...
