Takeover 2.0 (Open)

Artemis went from roof top to roof top, noticing the dead below as she went. She had a feeling she might be the last one to arrive as she landed on the ground. She crossed the last bit of distance and sure enough found the door to be open. She walked inside and followed her senses towards the chakra signatures: three of which were familiar and one of which was quite large but not familiar at all.

Artemis walked into the room, whistling an old lullaby from when she was very young. She glanced around quickly, taking noticing of the head bands on the table. She gave the unfamiliar guy a wide berth, stepping over the dead as if it were no big deal. Reaching the table she would drop the Genjutsu bosses headband down and then step away a bit. With arms folding over her chest she would look towards the boss that was left. Would he surrender now? Or was this going to be a fight to the death: with him being the one to end up dead.

Not long after he came in, Kuro appeared, and tossed his headband onto the desk. Then there was Artemis, and she did the same. it was safe to assume that all of his people were now dead and/or run off, and he was alone. He looked angry. The bored/sleepy expression on Kinzoku's face changed none, blinking his eyes slowly.

If he was smart he'd get up and leave. But these "Super Villains" never were. Kinzoku figured he was going to do something stupid like try and fight Alec, and end up on the floor like the rest of these dead guys.

Kinzoku remained silent and kept his arms folded, waiting to see how this whole thing would conclude.

After he came in, Artemis entered and put a headband onto the desk last. It was no surprise that the kid was able to win; she was Alec's daughter after all. She didn't even seem the least bit startled or freaked out that there were dead guys lying around them, some of them sliced to pieces and covering the floor with internal organs.

Some kids just grew up too fast, he thought. He was one to talk, for he'd been one of these kids. There were now 3 headbands on the desk, which meant all of his bosses were dead, and the village was pretty much in their hands now.

Judging from the frown on his face, the main boss didn't seem like the type to just walk away. He would likely wind up regretting it soon.

A child walked in last, which caused the big boss to take a look of shock. A mere child had been able to defeat one of his top guys, as well as all of his subordinates? With this revelation, his anger began to boil over. His entire body began to tremble.

"My new office is a mess as is," said Alec. "Try not to make it worse, alright?'

The boss stood while flipping the desk, flinging the large wooden object easily into the air with a loud angry yell. It began flipping through the air across the office towards the 4 of them. Frowning some, Alec jumped up from his chair and towards the desk flipping towards them. He executed 2 kicks: one to halt the flipping of the desk, and another to cause it to begin flipping back in the direction it was flung. Alec seemed to hover above the desk as it flipped right back to where it had been flung, landing on top of it in a crouch as it landed right side up in the exact spot the big boss threw it from.

"Didn't I say not to make a mess?" asked Alec. The main boss threw a wild punch towards Alec that he jumped over. He executed 2 kicks to his face then one to the back of his head while jumping over him, causing him to stumble forward into the desk. Alec landed and opened the glass doors behind the boss's desk to the back balcony, stepping out onto it. There were couches, tables and chairs, and what looked like a barbecue pit.

The main boss stormed out onto the balcony. After performing hand signs, his body seemed to begin leaking blue smoke. Watching him, the big boss performed the same metal skin technique that one of his lieutenants did. When he lunged forward towards Alec, at a speed that was much higher, Alec realized that the big boss could do both the techniques that his lieutenants did, only at the same time. Speed, Strength and Defense all in one move.

"Not a bad technique boss man, I almost want it for myself. You can do both the abilities your guys in there did at once," Alec said, leaning to the side of a punch, then ducking under a kick. He'd become faster, but was still not fast enough to keep up with Alec, much to his frustration.

"JUST DIE!!!" he yelled, typical of a villain losing. He performed more hand signs. His chakra levels rose even higher, causing the balcony to tremble and the wood to creak. The big boss unleashed a devastating chakra projectile towards Alec, who merely grinned and made no attempts to dodge. It was a final desperation technique, Alec knew this.

Alec simply held out his left arm, the palm open to seemingly catch the attack. The big boss thought Alec insane, and laughed hysterically, until the attack disappeared into the 2 diamond shapes on the center of Alec's palm. He was speechless, being a mix of shocked and enraged.

Inhailing Maw:

"I offered you the chance to walk away. You didn't," Alec said, using the lapse in time to move towards him in what he would perceive to be the blink of an eye, placing a kick on the underside of his chin, which lifted him off of his feet and sent him skyward. While the boss was launched off of the balcony, Alec pointed his left palm towards him and released the stored projectile attack. The big boss was pulverized by his own jutsu, effectively turning his entire body into dust and ash.

Judgement:

Alec watched the dust and leftovers of the boss drift away in a breeze. His hand still smoking a blue colored mist, he turned and walked back into his new office. "Now, for this incredible mess we've made..."

Kinzoku and Kuro remained silent and Artemis followed suit. She had nothing to add verbally to this situation: this boss was either going to take a hint and stop acting like an idiot or he wasn't. Either way Artemis found herself unable to care: if he died it would simply be more mess to clean up, and if he didn't then it would be a somewhat talented individual to have around.

Of course, it became quite clear rather quickly that he didn't have a brain. The trembling of his entire body proved as much: rage always seemed to cause such a reaction after all. Following this her father made a comment about not making a mess of his new office, only the boss didn't seem to care about that as he flipped a desk straight towards them. There was no point to dodging it, though, as her father took care of the desk rather easily.

The two then traded a few attacks – none of which seemed to hit her father – before the fight ended up out on the balcony where the boss' entire body began to leak a blue colored smoke. Artemis shifted a bit so that she could keep a watch on the fight, seeing this boss also cover himself in a metal like substance. Artemis thought they both looked and seemed pretty cool, and her father seemed to think along the same lines with the comment he made. Still, even though the boss was now faster then before he still wasn't fast enough to land a hit on her father who continued to dodge them all easily enough.

The boss started yelling at him to die and Artemis just shook her head with an amused smirk: this boss was looking like he was letting his anger get the best of him in this situation and she knew that wasn't going to help him any in the long run. The boss then unleashed a powerful chakra projectile attack, but her father absorbed it with one of his own techniques only to unleash it back onto the guy after he was kicked in the chin and launched in the air. The boss, after having his own attack unleashed against him was turned to nothing more then dust and ash.

When her father walked back inside she looked around at all of the dead bodies and then thought of all of the ones she left behind: this clean up was probably going to take a little while. ”Hehe... yeah. I kind of left a mess behind over in the district I was in. There were two goons of that boss' over there that wised up and took off instead of attacking me so they're roaming around somewhere.”

Even in the basement Jynx could hear the commotion upstairs. There were screams echoing down to her from outside, too. To Jynx it sounded like some kind of war had broken out, or something as equally violent. Jynx wanted to run away, to run and to hide. Yet, she couldn't go anywhere at all. She was trapped in the thick concrete walled room with the solid steel door that was locked on the outside: the door having a tiny square window to be looked through.

The room had been her home since she was a toddler; ten feet by ten feet in size. It had a small little seperate bathroom area for her to shower and clean up in, but otherwise it was completely bare. There was a single cot against the far right wall with a single tiny pillow and a simple blanket. A small wicker basket with a lid held the few clothes she owned a few feet away, and there were six books neatly stacked nearby for reading. In the ceiling, shining brightly, was a single lightbulb. This light had a switch both on the inside of the room and on the outside; so that her captures could turn it on and check on her without relying on her to comply to their demand to turn the light on.

A tray of basic food – rice, an orange, and some kind of meat – sat at the end of her bed. Jynx had been in the process of eating when the noises from above reached her through the air vents in the room; and it was at that time that she had pushed herself backwards and into the corner and curled herself up into a little ball. Her tail – which like the majority of her resembled that of a monkey's – was in her hands and she was holding it in such a way that would clearly state she was afraid it would be pulled.

Yellow eyes – useless due to her being a Yanagi – stared towards the ceiling, but it was with a single foot placed on the ground that she watched what was going on... there were a lot of dead bodies lying around, including those of her captures. What would her fate hold now?

There was an epic battle in the office; boss vs boss. The guy was very strong. He could make himself faster and tougher as well. But in the end, he was no match for Alec. He could not focus his chakra properly, and even if, Alec had that strange ability to absorb jutsu thrown at him to then cast it back at the caster, which proved to be the end of the boss, cementing themselves at the village's new owners.

"Leave it to me," said Kinzoku in response to the mess. "It's why I made so much Iron Sand. I'll take care of it all in no time."

The massive blob of black outside the house began to spread in all directions. Some of it even came in the house, spreading through the halls and up into the office, to clear the floors of the dead. Outside, the black moving substance spread throughout all districts. it gathered up all of the dead and dying to pull them back before the house in the Administration Complex. There, the bodies and parts began to be broken down and dissolved. the blob began to shrink and sink itself into the grounds...

"Taken care of," Kinzoku said once the blob was gone. "What now?"

The boss guy flipped a desk at them. Kuro didn't move. Alec jumped and kicked the desk back to where it was thrown. The boss guy swung at Alec a few times, with none of his attacks landing. The battle was taken out onto the balcony, where the boss guy did a move that raised his speed and defense. It didn't help him none.

Alec caught a chakra projectile that he launched and threw it back at him after a kick that sent him up in the air. The boss guy didn't survive being his with his own technique, and that was that.

Kuro sat down on one of the couches in the room. The village was theirs. Kinzoku did that weird Iron Sand trick that got rid of dead bodies. There was still some cleaning that needed done, but the major stuff was taken care of.

Kinzoku asked what was next, making Kuro look in Alec's direction curiously.

Alec picked up the papers and the things that were on top of the desk from the floor, putting them back where they were before the boss flipped it towards them. He pulled over the leather chair that he was sitting in and sat in it himself. While Kinzoku's sand took care of the dead bodies, Alec had himself a look through the desk, finding nothing of real importance.

He then looked over at the green that they were all smoking when he walked in, taking some in his ungloved hand to take a whiff, finding that it was exactly what he thought it was with a grin. He loaded some into the pipe that the boss was smoking and had himself a long hit, using Katon chakra and two fingers to ignite it.

"What now, eh," he said, choking back a cough. "Well, I figure you can run the slums, Kinzoku. get the mines and the rock quarrys up and running... Artemis, you run the Rich District... I'll run the Middle Class District and get the marketplace and waterfront going... Kuro, I know you don't much like dealing with people, so you... just sorta keep an eye on everything, yeah? Wander around, make sure it's all in order."

It was then that Alec noticed someone - or something - alive in the basement. Whoever it was seemed to be locked away in a room. The person didn't appear hostile. Were they a prisoner? Alec didn't see any reason for them to be locked away down there anymore, no matter what they did.

"Also... you all go find houses to live in... except for you, Artemis. You can go find yourself a HQ during the days over in the Rich District if you want, but at night you're to be right here, so find a room." After another long drag of the green he stood up again, smoke trailing from his nose and mouth. "As for me... I'm going to have a look around my new house..."

Artemis watched as Kinzoku made quick work of the clean up: the dead bodies were destroyed and the black substance that did it seemed to do so easily enough. There was still some mess about – like the broken table – but at least the whole village wouldn't end up smelling like rotting corpses now. Kinzoku, upon finishing the clean up, asked her father what they were going to do now. Curious, Artemis turned her attention onto her father and awaited his answer.

Her father responded by putting Kinzoku in charge of the slums; to get the mines and quarries up and running. Artemis herself was then put in charge of the rich district. Her father commented that he'd be in charge of the middle class district and that he'd get the waterfront and market place going. Due to Kuro not really liking to deal with people Alec gave him the job of just keeping an eye on everything, and make sure everything was in order.

Her father then said something about all of them finding houses, or rather that Kinzoku and Kuro should. Her father commented that she could find a headquarters to use during the day in the rich district, but that he wanted her to return back to this location at night: so this was definitely going to be home from now on. Artemis didn't mind this of course, and simply nodded in response. ”I'm going to go pick out a room then.” Artemis commented as she walked out of the room. She glanced about, quickly locating the stairway that led upstairs, and began to ascend it slowly with her fingertips trailing along the banister as she went.

Through her ability to see things through the earth she was able to watch as the bodies that had been laying upon them were destroyed with a black substance that one of the people in the room above was likely controlling; though she couldn't be entirely sure. The bodies were destroyed and the smallest of the four began to walk out of the room after a moment and head up one of the staircases. Were they going to call this place home now?

Jynx found herself torn between what she wanted to do. In one hand she didn't want them to find her: she had no idea if they'd be worse to her then her previous captors after all. In the other hand she did want to be found: starving to death was not the way she wanted to go. With the latter of the two choices winning Jynx slowly got to her feet and released the hold on her monkey-like tail. She took careful steps across the short distance between her cot and the door and then stood in front of it. She took a deep breath, squared her shoulders as if such an action would make her feel braver, and then began to beat the unholy hell out of the steal door with the sides of her fists.

”Hey! Someone come let me out! Hey! I'm down here! Let me out!” Unknown to Jynx her voice and the sound of her fists beating on the steel door would echo into the air vents and began to travel through them to other parts of the building. ”Come on! Don't leave me in here! Let me out!” Even with the sides of her hands beginning to hurt from constantly hitting the door she didn't stop: she wanted to make as much noise as possible so that somebody would hear her and come find her.

Alec started straightening up the office. That green herb was what Kinzoku figured it was, and wasn't surprised that Alec started smoking it. He gave each of them a new task in the village: Artemis was to look after the Rich District, Kuro was to take his old job back home as security, and Alec would get the markets and economy in the Middle Class District up and running again.

Kinzoku was now in charge of the slums. He was asked to get the mines and the rock quarrys going. This was fine. Alec also told them all to go find a new place to live in these districts. Kinzoku was sure there had to be somewhere in the slums that was a little bigger and nicer than everywhere else. If not he could always come up with some way of making his own place.

"I have my ear piece," said Kinzoku while turning to leave when Alec got up and said he was about to look around his new house. "Contact me if anything new develops..." While on his way downstairs and towards the front door, he swore he could hear someone yelling. Sensory kicked in and let him know someone was downstairs. Alec said he was going to look around, and with those chakra eyes He was sure Alec saw this person by now, so Kinzoku decided not to get involved.

So, to find a proper living space....

Kinzoku ran the slum now. The mines and the rock pits were his responsibility. Artemis was in charge of the high class area. He wondered how the rich would take a little girl in charge. Kuro thought that Alec was going to put the Middle Class area in his charge, making the grin melt off of his face, but instead Alec said that he'd run it. Alec said that he knew Kuro didn't much like dealing with people, and said that he could just wander around as he pleased as security. To this Kuro gave a thumbs up. It was a perfect position.

In one of his rare moments of speaking while standing and walking with Alec out into the hall, Kuro asked "So... is this The Dark reborn?"

He'd been curious if Alec was going to restart the notorious criminal organization that had caused havok on 2 other continents, killing Kage, bombing villages and kidnapping females. Even if not, it was fine with him. Kuro would walk with Alec until he gave an answer, to which he would nod, then head out to find a place to lie his head. Perhaps the building the boss used in the middle class...

[Exit]

Artemis said she was going to go find herself a room. Kinzoku said to contact him on the headset if anything should develop. Kuro walked with him as he went out into the hall, asking if he was going to restart The Dark. Alec just grinned, pulling his walking stick from his belt again.

"I thought about it, but nah," he said, starting down the stairs to the first floor. "We have a legit village here, so why not be just that... legit? There's a bazaar in the middle class district, there's docks to move all sorts of goods, there's an academy... I saw a map upstairs that showed there's other villages around. Maybe we could go make some friends. Play it cool this time around. No use being the villains everywhere we go, huh?'

Kuro would nod and leave out, to possibly go find himself a new place. Alec walked through the house. There was a large living room, a big dining room with a long table, and a big kitchen which was fully stocked with foods of all kind. Alec was surprised these guys managed to keep the place so clean and tidy.

Alec found the stairs that lead down into the bowels of the house. The basement was huge and spacious as well. Some corners had old furniture, tables, chairs and bookcases. Through a doorway was what looked to be a laboratory, where experiments on people once took place. On one side of the lab were locked doors; cells. He made his way over to the door that was being beat on from the inside. It was sealed with 2 big locks. Alec used the Hidden Blade on his right wrist to pick both of the locks and open the door.

There was a girl in there. She looked like she had been mixed up with a monkey, even having a tail. Alec didn't change the expression on his face though. Sicarius, a family member, was part cat, so it wasn't like he hadn't seen anything like this before.

What she would see was a tall young man dressed in a black hooded cloak, the hood down. This young man had shoulder length white hair and a blindfold over his eyes. In his hands was a polished black walking stick that was actually much more than what it looked like. His right hand had a glove over it that had metal plates fashioned to it. At his left side was hanging a strange katana blade that had white colored smoke rising from it's scabbard.

"The bad people that lived in this house are all dead now. You can come out of there, you're free. Come on, we won't hurt you," said Alec, motioning for her to come out with his gloved right hand.

Artemis paused on her way up the stairway as a voice echoing through the vents reached her ears. Frowning a bit to herself she cocked her head to the side, glancing backwards in time to see Kinzoku and Kuro leaving after her father explained that he wanted to keep Kurayami a legitimate village and do things the proper way this time around: something that Artemis had no issues with.

Still frowning to herself as she wondered where that voice had come from she started back up the steps until she reached the landing at the top. She glanced to the left and then to the right and then wandered down the hall. She had no idea where the voice had come from, but she was sure that her father likely knew: with his radar he could likely see the whole building after all.

Artemis passed several doorways until she found a room with lavender colored walls covered in a spiderweb like design done in black and deep purple. Grinning to herself she walked in. The room had a huge bed, a small library, a seating area, and what looked to be a miniature laboratory. ”Haha. Dibs. This is perfect.”, she muttered beneath her breath as she wandered over to see several small spiders in various containers.

Her own spider, Minerva, poked her head up from her jacket to have a look around as well before climbing onto her shoulder. It was then that Artemis heard the echo of two voices through the vents now and figured they had to be coming from the basement. Turning she headed out of her bedroom and down the steps. She quickly found the stairway leading further down and entered into the basement.

She glanced about in time to spot her father over by what looked to be some sort of cell. She wandered over, noticing a girl who looked like she was part monkey. Had she been stuck down here all this time? ”Hello... Why were they keeping you in there?”, Artemis asked curiously. Minerva, her tarantula sized black widow spider gave a very obvious wave from her shoulder: she was highly intelligent after all.

From the other side of the door she heard the locks that kept it shut shifting as they were released and so she took two steps back. She had no idea what to expect from the man she could 'see' on the other side; would he be kind, or would he be as cruel as those who had kept her captive? The door opened and a voice reached her ears: he was saying that the bad people who had held her here were dead, that she was free, and that they wouldn't hurt her.

It was then she noticed the young girl had joined them and her attention turned towards her; her head tilting so that she could hear her while her gaze remained on the ceiling: her eyes were useless after all. ”I... was born here.”, she said as she stepped cautiously out of the cell. Her head would then tilt in the other direction, still listening. ”They experimented on my mother while she was pregnant with me... only the experiment effected me, and not her.”

Absently she placed both hands on her tail. ”Eventually they created more successful experiments so they just locked me away in that room and forgot about me...” Realizing she hadn't introduced herself she added, ”I'm Jynx by the way... Jynx Yanagi.”

Artemis came down soon after. She asked the girl why she was in there. She responded that she was born here, and that they'd experimented on her mother. The experiments affected only her though. She said that they'd went on to other experiments and locked the girl away to be forgotten about.

All the better that these assholes in here were all dead and dissolved now. The girl said her name was Jynx Yanagi. "Ah, the Yanagi Clan. I have a couple of them in my village back home. I suspect that you must be blind then, right?" said Alec, turning to tap his way around the lab, looking here and there. The girl could talk well enough, so Alec suspected that they must have educated her.

"Well enough of being locked away down here, Jynx, there's a whole world to explore out there. My name's Alec by the way. I'm going to be running this village from here on out. I'm not putting you out of the only place you've ever known, you have more right to be here than we do. I feel the place would fare better with me in charge instead of that other scum."

The monkey girl stated that she had been born here and that the people who were now dead had done experiments on her mother only they had affected her instead. It made Artemis very happy to know that all of those evil people were now dead. Artemis found herself thinking and guessing that Jynx likely had never seen the outside of this building before, perhaps just the lab, considering how they had locked her up and forgotten about her.

Her father guessed that Jynx must be blind since she was a Yanagi, which made sense as to why she looked like she was staring off into space so much. Her father went on to comment that he wasn't going to put Jynx out of the only place she had known, and commented that she had more right to be here then even they did, something that Artemis agreed with.

To add on to her father's comment about how Jynx wouldn't be locked in a cage anymore, as well as him being a better choice to run the village then the scum that had been, Artemis added "You won't have to worry about anyone messing with you anymore, either. You can come and go as you please. I'm Artemis by the way."

The man introduced himself as Alec and guessed that she was blind, to which she nodded her head yes. "Ive been blind since I was born." He said that she was free to explore the world now, but that she was welcome to stay here and that he wasn't going to put her out of the only home she had ever known. He planned on taking control of the village and running it, and even though she barely knew him she figured he had to be a much better choice then those who had done so before.

The girl, Artemis, went on to add that she didn't have to worry about anyone messing with her anymore. It was nice to hear, and she had no reason to think that they were lying considering Alec had freed her.

"You said you know other Yanagi? Did they come with you? I've never had a chance to meet anyone else in my clan before...", she said curiously.

Alec started walking towards the stairs, motioning for them to follow him. "Unfortunately they didn't come with us, but if I know Kurai, he'll come following after me soon," Alec said in response to Jynx.

Alec walked through the basement and up the stairs again to the kitchen. He opened cabinets to see just how stocked they were, seeing that there was food in here for years. A back closet revealed rows of shelves further stacked with food. "Well, at least we won't have to worry about going hungry. You ate, Jynx? You have to be starving, eat whatever you want."

Alec himself took bread and lunch meat. He found mustard, lettuce and tomatoes and began putting himself together a sandwich. His aim was to make the girl comfortable; he didn't mean her any harm. "Artemis look out for her, yeah? She's gonna have a lot of questions. Feel free to ask anymore if you're curious about something."

Jynx asked if any of the Yanagi's that her father had mentioned had traveled with him, to which her father replied that they hadn't but that if he knew Kurai well enough he would be along soon enough. Artemis happened to agree; the 'group' they had formed in their previous village was rather tight knit, and seemed to like to stick together – sort of like a family, which in all cases they seemed to be.

She followed her father as he led the way into the kitchen. She took began to look through various cabinets to see what all there was. The place was well stocked for humans, but she would have to hit up a apothecary – if the village had one – and see about getting some bugs for Minerva: the spider was large, yes, but she wasn't large enough to begin feeding on meat quite yet.

She nodded to her father when he asked her to look out for Jynx, and grinned a bit. ”No worries, I'll make sure she's taken care of. If you want to stay here, Jynx, there's a room next to mine that seemed pretty cool – I mean, you definitely don't have to stay in that cage in the basement if you don't want. The room's connected to mine too, so if you need anything you can get to me easily enough.” There was something about the other girl that made Artemis want to help her: perhaps they could even become close friends – the other girl only looked about a year or two older then Artemis at the most after all, and Artemis didn't care that she was part monkey considering her current best friend was a giant black widow spider.

She glanced back over to her father, seeing him make a delicious looking sandwich, and decided to do the same: her stomach was already growling at the thought of a nicely built sandwich.

Jynx listened to Alec as he talked, saving his voice to memory as well as the information he was providing. He answered her question by stating that none of the Yanagi's he knew had come with him, but that one of them would likely be along soon enough now that they were settling in here. He then began to head out of the laboratory and mentioned getting something to eat. Jynx stomach roared to life in response, and she found herself curious about the food in the cabinets as well: however, given how underdeveloped her ability to sense and see was she followed her nose instead.

It took a moment to find it, given the various other unfamiliar scents in the room, but soon enough she found herself a bowl of fresh fruit and sat down at the counter on one of the provided stools. She snatched up a banana and made quick work with peeling away the outer later so she could get to the sweet goodness inside. She took a bite of the delicious banana while listening to Alec and Artemis talk: Alec wanted Artemis to keep an eye on her in case she had any questions, and Artemis had absolutely no problem with it; she even suggested Jynx taking the room next to hers so that she'd be close by in case she needed anything.

Given that Jynx had a mouth full of banana she was working on chewing she simply nodded with a grin instead: she liked that idea. She chewed quickly and then swallowed, pausing to speak before taking another bite, ”That sounds like a fine idea. I have no intention of being stuck in that tiny little room again; gets a bit cold down there, even for someone like me covered mostly in fur. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea of not being stuck in that room anymore, though... I grew up in there.”

She took another bite of her banana and fell silent for a moment, chewing and contemplating until a sudden idea came to her. ”Say... where'd y'all learn to do all of that fancy stuff anyway you were doing earlier? I can sense things through my feet and use it as a method to see; it's not great, but what I could see what pretty amazing. If I could learn to do stuff like that I'd never have to worry about some creep like those guys y'all killed bothering me again...”

Alec took a seat at the big round kitchen table, leaning his Blind Fury stick against it beforehand. Alec chuckled some at Jynx's question, thinking about where to begin. "Well, that's a really long story, Jynx," he said, then he took a bite of the sandwich. Chewing and swallowing he said "But I suppose it wouldn't make me look any better by lying to you."

Alec began to explain the long bloody story of how he rose to became what he was now, and how he met his friends. He told Jynx that he lost his memory at some point, and the first 20 years of his life were a mystery. He told her about Hana, about becoming a master weapons technician. About how he tried to fit in, how things were boring and bland in the hum drum everyday life of the village, how the leader fancied himself a god and planned on placing himself and the village above all others, and how Alec began to cause trouble.

He explained that he bombed the village and killed people - elitists like the leader - that tried to stop him. He left and became Missing. He traveled to a snow village and forged the glowing Kane Katana hanging at his left side; a special sword that harvested the souls of those it killed and allowed Alec to exploit his own chakra natures to perform incredible feats. How he next went to a desert village and encountered one of his kids, Destiny. How he became friends with Holeman, a child prodigy and medical genius. How there was a large bounty on his head, wanted posters were everywhere, and people were after him.

Next was how he got drunk in a bar and several goons tried to cash in on him, causing Alec to kill them and attract the attention of the Kage. How after a short fight Alec cut off his right leg and left him for dead. How Destiny ambushed one of his Genin Uchiha outside lying in wait for Alec, and they both scare him half to death, which causes his Sharingan, a special ocular Dojutsu, to activate. How Alec steals one of his eyes and has Holeman transplant it into his own head.

Then Alec and Destiny travel to a forest village where they encounter another of Alec's kids, Demitria. The leader of Hana makes it known that he wants a showdown with Alec, to which Alec returns and kills him, along with bombing more buildings and slaughtering several others, finding that he is also a Uchiha, and in his dying moments both of his Sharingan come to life. While gouging out his eyes he is approached by a female looking to reform the village, asking Alec to join her. Alec refuses and leaves, kidnapping a beautiful blond female beforehand. Alec has Holeman implant the other eye. Because he has to keep the eyes covered when not using them, Holeman teaches Alec the special Holeman way of sight, the "Chakra Radar" which allows him to see any and everywhere within a country as long as it is above ground, explaining to Jynx that it was a lot like the Yanagi way of seeing called Shinsai.

Alec explains how they had the makings of their own village, and that they planned on taking over one; the subsidiary of Hana, a village called Makkuragakure, or Makkura for short. Alec and the blond female - named Avery, who'd surprisingly taken a liking to Alec and his kids, despite being kidnapped - travel to Makkura and declare leadership, only after having to kill several of the scum inhabiting the village. Alec and Avery begin to turn the village around. Destiny and Demi travel to Makkura. Demi's daughter Nanalie joins in with them. Alec's son Jr appears, becomes away of the presence of a phoenix in the desert, and after traveling there with Nanalie and engaging in a short fight, Jr convinces the phoenix to join him.

Alec forms a criminal organization that he calls The Dark. He kidnaps several other people to gain intel on the other villages. A Kage summit is called to which Alec send Jr to attend, since he has become even more powerful that even Alec. Some of the people there have nothing nice to say to Jr, even with Jr saying that the Dark's Criminal ways were coming to an end. Jr flies into a rage and travels to the snow village with Alec to destroy it. because of this act, nothing is head from the other villages in 5 years. In this time, Alec and Avery become even closer. It isn't long before Artemis is born.

Alec travels around, learning many new powerful techniques and building himself a Stick Sword for the "blind" ruse that he gave off. He returns to see that someone named Saito has claimed leadership of Makkura. Alec merely laughs, while his family, Avery, The Dark, and the majority of the village still see Alec and Jr in charge. Saito indirectly threatens Alec, and Alec responds by decapitating Saito.

Ninja from other villages begin to appear in Makkura. Holeman, his best friend Mitsukai, her older sister Emiko, and Kinzoku from the desert. The Yanagi twins Kurai and Hikari from a paradise village. As Emiko and Kurai are both Jinchuuriki, meaning that they are carriers of tailed beasts, along with Jr who possesses a powerful phoenix spirit, this causes Makkura to become the most powerful village on the continent.

Mitsukai crosses an ocean to another continent and becomes Kage of a desert village there. Kinzoku goes with her as her bodyguard. With things secure here on the mainland, Alec and Artemis cross the ocean next. It is in the desert that they meet and befriend Kuro of the Nara Clan. Kinzoku and Kuro, having similar backgrounds, form a tight bond and become like brothers.

Alec and Artemis travel to a cloud village situated in mountains. Hearing a rumor that the Kage there fancied himself invincible, and was known to be arrogant and treated his villagers like slaves, Alec and Artemis began causing trouble in the village to draw him out. When he appears, Alec easily dispatches him with a long forgotten technique called "Dance of the Crescent Moon." A rogue ninja attempts to join in during, and attacks Alec, the Kage and Artemis, causing him to be killed by Alec as well.

3 powerful Missing Nin destroy the cloud village when Alec and Artemis are leaving. They travel to a forest village where Alec watches a spar between some of the native kids, and some of the survivors of the cloud, where they migrated after it was destroyed. While originally not planning on getting involved, one of the kids attacks Alec. He kicks the child in the head, killing him by mistake. The whole village is evacuated upon realization that Alec is a notorious criminal. Upon leaving, Alec encounters another member of his clan, the Kurayami. Past history stated that Kurayami were deranged and insane, so Alec, taking no chances, cuts the individual in half.

Finally came the story of how he, Artemis, Kinzoku and Kuro aspired to continue travelling and discover new lands and villages. After a boat ride, they arrive here, on this continent, and soon discover Kurayamigakure, as well as the fact that it is being run by scum... and the rest is history.

Artemis remained quiet while her father began to explain the story of everything that had happened. She had heard it all before, quite a few times, but she loved to hear it time and again. It was definitely an interesting story, full of adventure and danger. Artemis had never enjoyed those little girly stories of princesses being rescued by princes; she had always preferred the more action and adventure type tales – and given that this one was real made it all the better.

So, while Alec talked she listened quietly and worked on eating the giant sandwich she had made. She also took the time to think of everything she might have to help Jynx with: from what the girl had said earlier she didn't know how to fight but had been interested to know where Alec and the rest of them had learned everything. Perhaps Artemis could try and teach her a few things; she was sure everyone else would be willing to help her out too. She would even help introduce them; she knew the others wouldn't harm Jynx, and her knowing more people would likely make her feel even more comfortable since it was clear she wanted to stay here.

Alec answered her by saying that it was a long story, but that it likely wouldn't make him look any better to her by lying to her. In truth, she preferred he be honest: she had no reason to think he would harm her considering he had let her out of her cage, so she doubted anything that he told her would make the difference in her opinion. She glanced over to Artemis who began to eat her sandwich; she too looked to be interested in hearing this story.

Finishing her banana she dropped the peel into the nearby garbage can before grabbing an orange. She listened as Alec began to tell his story while she used her thumb nail of her right hand to being slicing through the orange peel so she could get to the tasty treat inside.

Jynx listened as Alec explained that he had lost his memory of the first twenty years of his life. He told her about a village called Hana, and about how he learned to build weapons. He tried to fit in to this village but it was a boring life, and to make things worse the leader had a god complex. Because of this god complex Alec decided to start causing some trouble. He bombed the village and killed people – people who were like the leader and thought themselves better then everyone else. This, of course, made him what was called a missing-nin, a criminal. Following this he went to a snow village and ended up making one of the weapons he had on him. Next he went to a sand village where he met up with one of his kids, and made friends with a child prodigy named Holeman who taught him some kind of radar that allowd him to see since he couldn't use his eyes due to the transplants he had.

As Alec continued on she began to peel off slices of the orange, pop them into her mouth, and chew them up; enjoying the juicy tasty treat rather well – it was definitely better then the normal food those who held her captive sent down to her. She paid close attention to everything that he told her, glad that he was telling her the truth even though it meant him admitting that he had caused of a lot of destruction through his bombings, and had killed people and stolen their eyes.

By the time Alec reached his explanation about the village he helped to create Jynx had finished with her orange and threw the peels away only to resume her seat. She listened as he completed his tale, finishing to explain with the traveling they had decided to do. When Alec was finished she stayed silent for a moment or two, contemplating everything.

Finally, Jynx spoke up, ”Well... that was certainly an interesting story. Still, I'm glad I know now. But, it doesn't change my opinion of you; you let me out of that cage after all. Plus, you don't really sound like a bad guy; I mean, it sounds to me like all of those people who you killed or hurt – well they all either deserved to die, or interfered where they shouldn't. Some people don't learn lessons the easy way...”, she said with a slight shrug of her shoulders: she was definitely taking this calm. But, her opinion was formed: Alec didn't sound like the kind of person to harm innocents for no reason, and he hadn't harmed her, so she wasn't about to go running and screaming out of the building or anything like that.
