Description: The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface (even water) and as far as they want as long as there is a sufficient area.
Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other at the same time if the user desires that (of course, to prevent hurting themselves, the user just has to have the shuriken holster in a place where you don't normally have it, like the back, so that the opponent draws nothing when the user draws a shuriken). If the target is out of range, the user can produce a better light source to increase their shadow's size or rely on pre-existing shadows for their shadow to freely travel through. It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction. The shadow can also be attached to people without binding them, letting the "victim" move freely. Doing that has the purpose that the person, the shadow was attached to, makes contact with a third person, to bind the latter one with the shadow.

Description: A technique that follows the Shadow Imitation Technique. After binding a target with their Shadow Imitation jutsu, a Shadow hand will form from the shadow and ride up the users body to the neck. The technique will then begin to apply a physical force that mimics as if the target is being strangled. If the technique is accomplished for an entire post, the target will pass out from being strangled. This technique can be existed if the one it is being casted on has at least 75 more chakra than the user. Canceling the jutsu.
This technique can be broke by releasing a large amount of chakra, via entering a curse seal mode, releasing tailed beast chakra, Entering Master Sage mode, things that are understandable. Not just releasing your own normal chakra.

Description: The Shadow Style: Shadow Clone, despite its name is more akin to the various elemental clone jutsu. The Nara member will focus his chakra into the  thier shadow, causing it to rise up, forming out a single duplicate of the user, though jet black in appearance. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the clone is injured enough it will revert back to a normal shadow. The clone itself has no chakra pool of its own; it remains connected to the user by a thin strand of shadow. Instead, the user is able to use the shadow clone as relay point, projecting jutsu out from the clone as if it were the real user, thus extending the reach of his/her jutsu. The clone automatically disperses when the user runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause a noteworthy level of physical damage [second/third degree burns, broken bones, stab wounds, etc].

Description: This is a ninjutsu from among the Nara clan's secret techniques that uses materialized shadows to attack and bind, instead of merely immobilizing and controlling like the Shadow Imitation Technique. The user changes the shape of their shadow into several sharp needles and controls each separately. They can then attack several targets simultaneously and at the same time snatch away their ability to move by sewing them stuck with the shadow threads. Because it is a physical attack, it is impossible to capture someone without harming them, but on the other hand, since the speed of invocation and the time of duration are excellent, it can be used when urgent restraint is required.
This technique is usually used to go through the target and capture them, but depending on the opponent, it can also be used as an attack to bring them down. This special characteristic finds its greatest effect when used as logistical support. After this technique hits someone, it can then be directly transformed back into the Shadow Imitation Technique.

Description: This is a ninjutsu using materialized shadows, but compared to the Shadow Sewing Technique from the same line, this technique places emphasis on the minute control of the shadow's movements. It is accurate enough to even make the tentacles go through tiny holes. Basically, this technique takes the user's own shadow and transforms and stretches it into countless thin tentacles, which are then used to grab objects and pull them in. Also, one can skillfully make use of the tentacle-shaped shadow tendrils by using them to lift up and throw weapons like kunai and such. This technique has many possible applications and uses.

This place can create slices that are three inches deep, and if if hits where joins are can easily severe limbs or decapitate someone. It is shown to be capable of bisecting steel itself.

Description: To begin the jutsu the user must create a shadow clone. Next using the shadow clone the user will bind the target in the shadow possession jutsu. After the target is captured the clone will then draw a kunai and stab itself in the heart causing it to disperse while the target will take an actual kunai to the heart and die. This jutsu is most effective when the target has an actual weapon or if the user is preoccupied with another target.

Description: With this technique, users replace their own body with some other object, generally with a block of wood, the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. It's a basic ninjutsu even taught at the Academy, but it's a useful art that can be applied in variety of situations. Description: The Body Flicker Technique is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalize the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination. The different hidden villages have variations of the Body Flicker Technique, all of which involve some extra element aside from the movement itself. The extra element is usually some sort of substance used to distract the opponent, such as leaves, water, clouds, mist, or sand. 

There has been some confusion in some translations between this and space–time ninjutsu, but these are indeed different techniques, as this technique isn't teleportation, just an extremely swift movement.

The Body Flicker Technique can only be used to enter or exit a thread, it cannot be used in combat.

The Body Flicker Technique costs 10 Chakra to use.

Description: A technique that produces a clone by projecting one's own chakra towards dozens of "crows". Because it uses crows as a medium, it requires less chakra than the normal Shadow Clone Technique, while still being able to perform techniques. The dozens of crows come together to form the body of a clone. When the chakra projected by the user is severed, the crows disperse, though the user is still able to continue to speak through it.

Since the crows continuously clone themselves, the target becomes completely surrounded, obscuring their field of vision. When no longer needed, the crows will simply disappear in a puff of smoke.

Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this technique creates clones of the user. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the actual person even by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance. Because of the manner in which the clones are created, the user must divide their chakra among the clones, potentially using up all their chakra fairly quickly if the user is low on chakra or makes too many clones.

A characteristic that is unique to the Shadow Clone Technique is that any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user.

(When making a Shadow Clone the user must spend 20 of their chakra per clone, however they may if they so choose give their clone more chakra. Example: If you want your clone to have 50 chakra then you must spend 20 chakra to make the clone and an additional 30 on top of that for the extra 30 chakra. Each clone otherwise will have 20 chakra unless given more - when the chakra is used up the clone will disappear.)

Description: This technique is used to create a shadow clone that can be detonated. The clone looks like a normal shadow clone, which allows the user to get it close to the target without them expecting anything besides a normal attack, or the target might even close in willingly to try to attack the clone. Using multiple tricks and diversionary tactics to disguise the nature of the clone can make this technique more likely to be effective. An exploding clone can detonate with the force that will totally obliterate your average house. A victim (of the same rank and lower) caught in a close range explosion will suffer serious 2nd degree burns, lacerations, possible loss of limbs; 3 or more clones detonating within close proximity of the target results in death (If serious medical attention is not applied after 3 posts.)  It costs 25 extra chakra in addition to the 20 Chakra to create an exploding clone. (55 Chakra) An exploding clone can behave in the same manner as a Shadow Clone, with the exception that at any time the clone can sacrifice it's own Chakra reserve to detonate.

Description: Spiraling Sphere creates a skull sized sphere of raw chakra in the user's hand. Performing this technique doesn't require any hand seals, it simply takes roughly six seconds of preparation, wherein the user concentrates a large amount of chakra into the centre of their hand, applying intense shape manipulation to contort it into a ball. This sphere can be maintained in the user's hand for up to two posts before dissipating. On impact, Spiraling Sphere can severe limbs [if it impacts with the appropriate joints] and cause severe physical trauma, shattering bones around the impact site as well as rending cleanly through up to six inches of flesh. While the Rasengan, unless impacting with the head or heart, cannot cause immediate death, it can cause severe internal trauma that can require immediate medical treatment. Chakra Cost: 25

Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. The usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills, except for particularly adept users, who can completely erase even their chakra signature with it. Camouflage Technique costs 25 chakra to activate, and 10 to maintain each turn it is active.

When this technique is in play, no other Ninjutsu can be used; doing so will break the camouflage.

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to levitate and even fly. A skilled user is able to transfer this ability to others through physical contact with them for up to 5 posts. Flight Technique allows the user and those it is passed on to the movement speed of their rank. Flight Technique costs 30 Chakra to activate and 10 to maintain each turn. (Additional Chakra Costs for passing the ability to another person: 1 Post: 10 Chakra, 2 posts: 15 Chakra, 3 posts: 20 Chakra, 4 posts: 25 Chakra, 5 posts: 30 Chakra.)

Clan Name: カラスKage Karasu (Shadow Crow)

Location: Niwaurushigakure

History: There are many rumors, tales and stories regarding crows. Many legends depict crows as evil and negative omens. For example, in one such tale, the crow was sacred and meant the flesh torn by fighting. As he eats carrion, welsh poetry uses the metaphor "the crow pierced you" to say "you have died". They thought crows escorted the sun during his nocturnal path, that is to say in Hell. So they were a symbol of evil, contrary to swanns, symbolizing purity. In the Bible, the crow is sent by Noah to search earth after the flood. But the crow didn't tell Noah that the flood was finished. So he is considered selfish. Saint Golowin thought that in Paradise, the crows had multicoloured wings. But after Adam and Eve were driven away from the Paradise, the crows started to eat carrion. So they became black-feathered. At the end of time, the crows will find their beauty again and sing harmoniously to praise God.

However, there are also stories that depict crows as exactly the opposite. In Africa, the crow warns men that dangers are menacing them. The crow is their guide and a protector spirit. In Celtic civilization, he has prophetic functions. Bodb, Goddess of the war, takes the form of a raven to observe the battlefields. The crows' flight and cawings told the future. The crow was also linked to Bran, God of the sailors (Bran means crow in gaelic) : the sailors had crows on their boats. They released them at sea. They flew in the direction of the earth. The same idea is in the Bible (after the flood Noah released first a crow).

Whatever stories and legends surface, the truth has been long lost to time. It is said that a clan of crows exists within the highest trees of the forests surrounding Niwaurushigakure. They are the eyes and the ears of the land, and dwell within shadows. Extremely reclusive, it is said that only a very certain few can gain an audience with the Shadow Crows, which legend depicts are highly intelligent and capable of communicating with humans.

Description of clan ability: Shadow Crow Sages' appearance alters somewhat when entering Sage Mode. Their eyes become a reddish color. They gain an incredible clarity of perception, letting them pick up on some of the most minute of movements (But not to the same extent as ocular dojutsu such as Byakugan or Sharingan; a maximum of SSS-1 rank)
Much like other Sage Modes, they gain access to a black ankle length jacket bearing the sage symbol on the back (The jacket does absolutely nothing to boost stats or defense.)
Crow Sages gain a boost in speed and endurance. (A maximum of SSS-1 Rank)
They share a telepathic link with other Shadow Crows, enabling them to communicate and to see what the crows see.
If the Sage has knowledge of Shadow Manipulation techniques, the costs of chakra to use these techniques while in Sage Mode are halved.
If the Sage has the ability to fly, the costs of chakra to keep the Sage airborne while in Sage mode are halved.

Drawbacks: Shadow Crows, and Shadow Crow Sages are extremely susceptible to attacks composed of Lightning, (Raiton) Ice, (Hyoton) Earth, (Doton) and any specialization that is a combination of any of these elements (such as Storm Release, Thunderstorm, Dust Release, Explosion Release, ect ect.) Sages take +2 damage to all of these elements, and +3 to elements combined. Continuous successful attacks can easily knock the user out of Sage Mode for the remainder of that thread. Sage Mode can be used indefinitely, with the drawback of having to cooldown and recuperate for every post used. During the cooldown period, the user's skills and stats are decreased to B rank.

Description: The sage can summon up to 10 Shadow Crows. These crows are several times larger than normal crows and can be compared to the size of an average dog. They have beaks and claws that can pierce steel, and do up to A-rank damage. The crows can scatter feathers as well as release a "Caw" to confuse (stun) a target for 1 post. They share a telepathic link with the Sage who summoned them, and when dispersed, they become shadows that can be used in conjunction with Shadow Manipulation techniques. Shadow Crows can withstand up to 2 A-ranked attacks before they are dispersed, but any element that they have a weakness to can disperse the birds in just one attack.

Description: The sage can summon Boss Crow, the Chief Bird of the Shadow Crow Sages. He stands as tall as a full grown human and is as wide as an ordinary van, having a wingspan of 20 feet. Boss Crow is highly intelligent and is capable of speaking English. His battle experience is vast, as he has faced many admirable Shinobi in the past and lived to tell the tales. Boss Crow has the skill and durability of an S-rank Jounin, but can be easily dispersed by an element he is weak to. While having all the same abilities as the lesser Shadow Crows, he can perform several exclusive techniques such as a Transformation technique to become an identical clone of his summoner, the Shadow Imitation Technique, and dispersing himself into several smaller crows to avoid attacks, or to travel into smaller spaces he wouldn't otherwise fit through.
