PostSubject: Kaguya Yakuza Battles The Sand King [Closed Rp Invite Only]   Kaguya Yakuza Battles The Sand King [Closed Rp Invite Only] EmptyFri Sep 11, 2015 3:56 am

Yakuza walked along the dusty stone streets of his village. Here where he was, it was a watering hole; literally. This place was in cave but it was different. It used mirrors to reflect the light inside of it during the day and had lamps during the night. It was his favorite meeting place and the insides of it was nothing like the dull faceless and ragged surface that one would see on the outside of a cave. On the inside has intricate, hand made draperies that had adorned in gold thread, the ancient writings of his people and his village. The walls were shaven smooth and were polished with bee's wax giving it a special shine. The tables were made of acacia wood, the kind of trees that can withstand the harsh environment of this place and was a very durable wood. The bar top was made of marble as it rested on an oak cupboard for the drink supplies to be stored.

Yakuza walked in confidently, everyone in there knew him but not what he had done. Without each other knowing, he himself had went on missions for the note worthy people that were in there. But today he did not come to meet any of these but rather he came to meet one person in particular and he saw the figure sitting in the corner with his back against the wall as a true gangster would not allowing himself to be vulnerable and keeping his eyes on everything in front of him. He was smoking a pipe too as the breif glow from the pipe illuminated his hidden face under the hood. Yakuza smirked as he saw this and looked at the smoke slowly rising from the hooded one's lips. He took a seat opposite from this man and the man began speaking right away.

"You sent for me Yakuza, so here I am." he said in a deep voice.

"That I did." replied Yakuza in an octave deeper than this visitor. "I sent for you because this mission is different. Its not one that is assigned from the Kage and it would not be registered in the log they have here. But only for our organization."

"Oh? You of all people should know that I do not work for free."

And with that, Yakuza tossed a sack of gold on the table. The man took another pull of his pipe as he looked at the sack and again Yakuza saw the man's eyes under the glow of his pipe. His face had looked weary, no doubt from the long journey but now, he was ready to talk business.

"What do you want from me Yakuza?"

"Isnt it obvious? I need you to come with me on this. Even I cant take down the Sand King on my own." said Yakuza as he gestured to a waitress and ordered some saki for the two of them. "Yabedo, I need your abilities. As you can see, money isnt the problem here. And depending on if I get what I want and we both come out of this alive, there will be more where that came from."

After a few seconds of thought Yabedo said, "But why Yakuza? Why are you so persistent in taking down this Sand King? What could you possibly have to prove?"

"Simple, I need to test myself against him. His men would not make it easy for that to happen and that is where you come in."

"I see. So you want me to keep his men busy while you hunt him."

"Yes, to put it bluntly. But, we will do it together if at all possible."

"I hope you know what kind of person the Sand King is Yakuza. I'm sure youve heard of the stories." said Yabedo.

"Yes I have not only that but I have served with the man in the military at a point. He was my General. The man was fearless and his ability with the sword is formidable to say the least. I have trained hard for this and wanted to face him ever since we fought together in the war. But even more important, I think he has some sort of link to the death of sensei."

With that Yabedo got even more serious as he took a longer than usual drag of his pipe.

"Are you certain?" asked Yabedo.

"I am. There is no doubt what I saw the day I returned from that mission and I saw how sensei's house was and those markings I saw were not shuriken or kunai marks they were those of a broad sword. And there are only so many people that use that kind of weapon and I have killed off a few of them."

"Youve convinced me Yakuza. Alright, since this bastard could be our sensei's killer I will have to help you and forget the money. We can use it on out trip I hate to not be comfortable when i travel."

And with that, they are allies once again. And they will be working together to avenge the death of their sensei.

PostSubject: Re: Kaguya Yakuza Battles The Sand King [Closed Rp Invite Only]   Kaguya Yakuza Battles The Sand King [Closed Rp Invite Only] EmptyTue Sep 15, 2015 7:06 pm

That very same moment they got up from where they were sitting and went to gather supplies for the trip. They were basic which was more or less water and food. They had all the equipment they needed. Yakuza needed no sword but he still carried one. His bones was all that he really needed. They were his life long companions and one that would not betray him. He was something of a character where he is from. Loud and brutal when he needs to be and very discreet as well when the time comes for such things.

Yabedo however was a man that Yakuza had met the moment he was taken into the tutelage of his now late sensei. He was short and stocky, barrel chested even and dark skinned. His hair was in plats and he had a red shirt with a high collar and black pants. On his person was the biggest sword that Yakuza had ever seen at that time. It was longer than Yabedo at the age of 13. But its ferocity in battle was something he had always wanted to see. Yabedo was his superior since he had been under his sensei longer than he was but now they were like brothers and the sensei was their father. And as with all young children, they would sometimes disobey their father and the father would punish them severely to make sure the lesson as learnt. Even with these punishments the lure of fun was sometimes too strong for the young Yabedo and Yakuza to ignore. There was this time however while they were out playing hooky, they were captured by some unknown persons who wore masks and just before they were about to be killed, their sensei came and rescued them easily by killing all those men that were in the room that day. Their blood and guts were strewn across the floor and on their faces. As the two of them looked at his sensei, he had nothing in his hand but a lone kunai. His partially grey long beard was now soaked in blood and his spikey greying hair was now flat on his head from the moisture of the blood. He turned and glared at them and they both knew they were in a world of trouble. After a bathe by the river and he made them wash his clothes as well, they changed their clothes and he carried them to the training area. And he did not treat them harshly he just spoke to them like a father would to his children. Yakuza never forgot that day and because of his sensei's forgiveness he chose to become better towards him but only towards him alone.

As they both grew they learned to love their sensei as a father. He took care of them and saved them a couple more times while they were on missions and it came to a point when they had to save him. Now that he was gone, the thoughts really began to sink in. Especially when Yakuza decided to visit their sensei's old house, the place where he was murdered. With slow steps they made their ascent towards the house, memories flooding into their minds as they looked at the training equipment their sensei used. As they made their way to the wooden structure, out on the balcony, they could imagine the evenings after a day of tough training where they would have these long talks as their sensei would teach them things about life and why being a true shinobi was important to their order. The smell as the same, fried noodles and gun powder. An odd combination but that was the smell of home. And even though Yakuza had parents, this was his real home. He could still see his sensei lighting the inscence on an evening for his daily prayer. What did all those prayers do? If it worked, his sensei would still be alive and well. His god if he was not deaf would have protected him. And with that thought, he suddenly had gotten angry and was about to kick down the shrine that was still there when Yabedo touched him on his shoulder and shook is head and he calmed down. Yabedo was right, there really was not anything to become angry about. The deed was done and now they had to focus on the ones responsible for killing their teacher. Yakuza then went to his room and Yabedo to his and thoughts, more than before started flooding their mental. He remembered the clean sheets and his own smell of his room now polluted with the blood of their sensei or his attackers. Everything as overturned and most walls were crashed into during the battle. He glanced across and saw a gaping hole across the corridor and into Yabedo's room and saw him there standing, no doubt having his own thoughts being swamped by the death of his sensei. Tomorrow was the funeral and knew that was the hardest part emotionally. To see the lifeless body of a man that you knew nothing less than a father lay cold and would never again be revived. Never again would they be scolded by him. Never again would they hear him laugh. Never again would they hear him give them commands about how to do things. He lived on only in their memories. And it was these memories that they will feed off from in their travels because if they are to win against the Sand King then they would need all the help and guidance they could get from their memories of his teachings.

PostSubject: Re: Kaguya Yakuza Battles The Sand King [Closed Rp Invite Only]   Kaguya Yakuza Battles The Sand King [Closed Rp Invite Only] EmptyWed Sep 16, 2015 5:20 am

Neither of them could bring themselves to stay there at least not in the state it was in. It was Yabedo that decided they should restore the place to its original state but they did not have the time. Yakuza pulled the strings and organized a crew to do the work for them. He paid them half in advance and gave the rest of the money to one of the men that work for him to pay them upon completion of the job. All they could do now is prepare for the funeral. People would be coming over, old students and friends of their sensei and his family. Yakuza met only a few of them while he was there.

The next day, all the preparations were made as the people gathered at the cemetary to give an old man their last respects. Yakuza, along with most of the students that were there wore their old uniform. A white kimono with black fringes with the emblem of their school on the right of the chest and larger one on their backs. The sensei's body was born by his two sons as Yakuza and Yabedo were known by most who were there. Along with his surviving brothers and then Yakuza saw him. The man who could go toe to toe with the sensei himself. His rival Getshuro Taiken. He even looked like their sensei. Only his beard was not as long nor was it as white. For a second Yakuza looked at him to make sure it was not his sensei come back to life. He took his seat in the front row and acknowledged everyone around him while his face remained somber.

They carried the body to the front of the temple where a simple ritual as done and several prayers were said on the sensei's behalf. Prayers to the same God that he worshiped every day since Yakuza knew him. The same God that could not save his life. As the prayers ere being conducted, Yakuza felt himself getting more and more angry. Those thoughts resurfaced once again; ho could the God you religiously prayed to could not come to you aid when you needed him the most? Yabedo seeing Yakuza's discomfort nudged him with his elbow and glared at him. The hint was to tone down and take it easy. Yakuza simply exhaled deeply and continued paying attention to the service. At the end of it all, the priest asked anyone if they had anything to say. That was when the sensei's rival got up from where he sat and took over the podium. His dark eyes searching the entire audience as if to find any of those guilty of something or anyone that did not show up that was supposed to be here.

"My dear friend, my long time rival and the best and most courageous warrior I have ever seen. Genriyo Takasashi was a man of integrity but was also very unorthodox. His methods of teaching were not always agreed upon by those who came into contact with him but, they were effective indeed. As Takasashi made the best of this village grow and prosper into what they are today. Although not all of them might always do things according to the law..." he said as he looked at Yakuza and Yabedo breifly, "one thing is certain and that whatever they do at the end of the day will protect the legacy that my friend Takasashi left behind for all that came after him have a model to follow of what is a true warrior. In closing, my dear friend..." he said as he looked at the peaceful face of his rival. "I will see you in the afterlife. May you be carried across the waters that seperate the two worlds swiftly and may you attain Nirvana."

With that, he stepped down from the stage and retook his seat as the priest announced the ending of the service and for that anyone that wishes to do so may come and see his face for the last time. Yakuza got up and went straight for the sensei's now grown children. And offered them his condolences. As he did this, he saw Taiken watching him with great interest. He knew why of course. They had many things to discuss. After all, it as to Yakuza that the sensei entrusted everything too. After the pleasantries, Yakuza started walking to Taiken and Yabedo closely followed behind him.

"Just so you know after the funeral we have business to discuss."

"Fair enough. Come to the house after the service. I will be ready." replied Yakuza.

The next part was always the hardest in all funerals where they were going to say their final goodbye to their dear loved ones. He as cremated, as he always wanted. He never wanted anyone to use his body for anything out of the ordinary and those that remained alive respected this wish. A few hours later the three of them were alone at the house since all the family members had already left because they would be returning back to their lives. They came to pay their respects and did and now they wasted no time to take their leave. Still in their funeral garb, they realized Taiken was in a room by himself and in the center of it and they both wondered why. Sensing their confusion, it was Taiken that began to speak first.

"Have a seat you two. As you know, our organization, as small as it is, has within it alot of secrets. Fortunately for us, this ninja art form had been led always from its inception by two masters that were equally formidable in power. The death of your sensei has brought about a void in this and it is up to you two to keep his memory alive. Yakuza, he left it to you and Yabedo you are to have equal share in this, you all being his best students up to this point. I will be overseeing the finances of the school and will be donating two hundred thousand ryou to revitalize the school."

"Thank you Taiken sensei." replied Yabedo.

"No need to thank me. Your sensei I was owing my life since he saved me many times. It is the least I can do to ensure that his legacy stays alive. So are you boys just going to stay here and not find out who did this?"

"Way ahead of you actually. I sent for Yabedo here. He did not even plan to see me like this since he came for the funeral as well. We know its the Sand King and his men that killed our sensei and we are going after him." replied Yakuza as he looked at Taiken.

"Just the two of you? I know you both are formidable on your own and even better as a team but the Sand King is not one to be underestimated Yakuza. If you do, you may end up like your sensei. Think about about it. Anyone that as able to take him out had to be someone of extraordinary skill."

"Its ok Taiken. You may have your doubts but I know what I am capable of and so does Yabedo. I am heavily dependent on Yabedo's skill."

"Is that a fact?"

"Yes. I wouldnt ask him to come any other way. He knows me. And its very rare that I ask anyone to help me."

Taiken sighed when he saw that neither of them would be dissuaded from their mission and reached into the confines of his kimono and took out a piece of paper and handed it to Yakuza.

"Whats this?" he asked.

"This is the last known location of the Sand King's base. He doesnt bother to keep in hidden. He might as well publish this in the local newspaper. He is confident about his abilities and of those around him. Because of this and his reputation he thinks no one will ever dare oppose him."

"The Sand King killed the wrong man Taiken. I am not going to be taking him likely neither am I going to allow him to live after I got the info I need from him."

Taiken admired their determination and decided to say nothing more but to give them his blessing. He even wanted to come with them but he could not because he had his own school to run. They bade him farewell and finished their own preparation for their trip. Yakuza brought some camels who even though they were slow, they were indeed the perfect method of crossing miles upon miles of desert. Known as the ships of the desert Yakuza carried them to the watering hole to have their fill of water to be stored in their humps.

As they rode past the village gates, Yakuza felt as if he was about to save the world because to him, this mission would be the most important mission of his life so far. Daunting? Yes it was. The Sand King's exploits were things of legend and here he and Yabedo was about to go up against him. Him and all his armies and his high ranked officers who no doubt was almost as strong as he King himself.

According to the map that he got from Taiken he had three days travel in this heat. The water and food that they rationed supposed to last for five days so he was not worried about dying in this desert and besides, they both were accustomed to this harsh environment so became like walking in his back yard. Their beasts of burden were slow but they moved at a steady pace and would alternate if they should cover more distance in the night than in the day. His thick cloak made him feel a little warmer in the harsh coldness of the nights in the deserts. The trip was uneventful apart from Yabedo capturing a rattle snake here or a scorpion here and there to concoct his various poisons to place on his weapons and if Yakuza wanted that as well then he could get it on his as well. Yabedo's poisons were potent enough to take down an elephant sized target with just a cut with his sword. Yakuza had meager jutsu and that is because he would more think about money more than everything else. And because of this, he knew in comparison to some other jounin he is weak. However, his cunning, his mental prowess to trick people and to persuade others into doing what he says is a gift. As for the other skills that he had not yet mastered, it was only a matter of time before he achieved all of his goals.

The sea of sand stretched as far as the eye could see. It was not that they lost heir bearings it is because the desert is so vast and their village being in the middle of it made the journey especially long. In the fourth day of travel they finally saw some potential to get some sheltered rest in days instead of just under a blanket under the night sky they would be shielded a bit by this cave they came across. It was not gargantuan in size however it was well suited for what they wanted it for and that was a place to put their animals and for them to sleep as well. Yabedo made a fire and got some nearby dried grass and made a bed for himself and Yakuza did the same as well. As he sat on a rock across the fire from his friend, he could not help but see how his facial expression was no doubt in deep thought about everything.

"Whats wrong Yabedo? You havent even eaten anything since yesterday."

"Why the sudden concern Yakuza? Since sensei died youve changed. Become more concerned and that is being soft."

"No it isnt. Only the ones I view as comrades I extend that side of myself to them. My enemies do not get a shred of it." he said

"I know Yakuza. If it were not for the bond I had with sensei you would have already tried to kill me long ago.

PostSubject: Re: Kaguya Yakuza Battles The Sand King [Closed Rp Invite Only]   Kaguya Yakuza Battles The Sand King [Closed Rp Invite Only] EmptyWed Sep 16, 2015 2:32 pm

Yakuza smirked at Yabedo's words knowing fully well that they were true. Yakuza had no qualms about slaying those that were on his side for some sort of gain but Yabedo was different. They grew up together. They had many pains and joys together and he could not see himself betraying or killing Yabedo. After all he was his sensei's student as well and if he were alive he would not want them to be turning on each other at all. He always said to work together and flourish and achieve each other's goals and help one another and do not stand idly by and see someone advantaging your brother. It as one of the few principles that Yakuza chose to never break. He put on his cloak as Yabedo went to sleep and sat outside in the cold desert night as the first watch. The stars were spangled across the dark sky and it was then that Yakuza knew that he was insignificant in comparison to these heavenly bodies. After a few hours Yabedo came and relieved him as he went back inside and slipped into the bliss of sleep.

At first light, they arose once again and started on their journey. Well rested and their beasts too they rode on with more zeal than ever before. The Sand King did not hide himself so they did not have to go doing any in depth search for him. Around before lunch time, they arrived to the first major city since they left their own days ago. They went straight to an inn and the stable boy took their beasts for water and food to eat while they walked into the inn. As expected the roughest of the roughest was here. Some were playing cards, others were arm wrestling, some were drinking and some were even carrying women upstairs to fuck the living daylights out of them for a small fee. As they reached to the bar, Yabedo ordered whiskey while Yakuza called for a gin and tonic. They looked around them discreetly and observed and listened to the happenings on the bar when the door flung open and four men came in and at once everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to look at the four of them.

The largest one, with no hair on his body from the looks of it had tattoos in a tribal design all over his body and even his face. The others were the same way just smaller. They all carried curved knives and their faces were darkened with the rays of the sun. Everyone in the bar got up and dipped into their pockets and took out their money and into a basket and handed the basket to the bar tender who in turn offered it up to to the large man with the tattoos. He had a scowl on his face and it grew deeper as he looked at the contents of the basket.

"What is this Barry?" he growled.

"This is our daily offering sir. This is all we have. If we give any more I would go out of business." said Barry in a trembling voice as he could not even look at the man in the eye.

"When did this become my problem Barry? Everyone inside here gets my protection once they pay. If you dont pay then you dont get protection Barry. How about we trash your tables and teach you a lesson about respect and about keeping your word eh?" said the man as he signaled one of his men to start smashing up the tables. Yakuza didnt care as long as these men dont bother them then they will be fine as they ignored what was happening around them.

As the men started to smash the tables, the large one realized not only did Yakuza did not pay, but they were not giving him the attention he wanted and this as pissing him off greatly. Of course the mistake the man made was to bother them.

"Oye! What the fuck is this? You two said the man as he grabbed Yabedo whose arm started to move as with one stroke of his sword in an upward swing the man's arm flew into the air and blood spewed every where and his screams made everyone look in shock as the once powerful man was brought to his knees with a singled sword stroke. Yabedo stopped Yakuza from finishing him off and did the deed simply by stabbing downwards onto the man's spine and twisting his blade to truly make sure he as dead. His men could do nothing as Yabedo shook off the blood from his blade and eyes them awaiting for them to either attack or try to run away. Either way, they were dead. In his travels, Yabedo ate guys like this for breakfast. He had to give them credit though, they were actually able to place their hand on their weapon as frightened as they were. In a flash, his blade found their necks and he appeared behind them as blood gushed from their necks and their bodies fell to the ground. He again shook their blood from his sword as he returned it to its place.

"Bar tender clean up this place. I aint finished drinking yet." he said calmly while looking at him.

"S..Sur...Sure! Drinks are on the house for you and your friend traveller. Come on boys lets get these fools out back." said the bar tender Barry.

Yabedo went back to the bar and continued downing drink after drink. Yakuza could not drink alchohol like him from ever since. Barry even gave them free rooms to sleep in and food to eat while they stayed here. Yabedo still thought he should pay the man for the room and board for both of them and have the drinks for free but Barry was so grateful for Yabedo slaying those men that he had to show it.

Yakuza went out onto the balcony of his room out into the moon light and gazed up at the night sky to think. He was about to enter into the Sword King's domain and he knew from here on out he and Yabedo's life would be placed into danger. The Sword King as confident as he was, would not show any mercy to those that stand up against him and Yakuza knew this all too well. But despite whatever, he was determined to slay the man that killed his sensei.

Yakuza simply went back into his bed room and sat on his bed and thought some more. It was not a fear he had of the sword king but one of respect of his skill. He had seen him in battle and the thought of facing him in some sick way excited him and made him lose his sleep. It had been a while since Yakuza had the opportunity to fight someone of his caliber and no doubt the Sword King had improved on his skills as well. But of course the Kaguya had also improved on his skills as well.  Suddenly, there was a crash as a man had spartan kicked the door so hard that it spun in the air and out the open window over the balcony. Yakuza's chakra had already started to mould itself within his body when the sword had struck him suddenly which made him stop and cough from the heavy impact of the blade. The attacker had a mask on plain white and black robes. He stood shocked as he saw his blade being pushed out of the Kaguya's body ever so slowly and he yanked his blades from within the confines of the bone and jumped back.

"Ah yes....looks like you tried to kill me didnt you?" said Yakuza as he grinned devilishly at the masked man who was now backing away and despite his mask, Yakuza could smell the stench of fear that permeated from his pores. *sigh* "Always the same, people try to kill me and they always fail. And they always end up dead."

The man somehow broke out of his fright and attacked Yakuza yet again with his sword. He had the same ferocity and speed at he had before. But when the blade struck Yakuza there was always a metallic sound as the sword repeatedly went past the skin and struck his skeleton. He started to fire wildly totally ignoring all of his training and assasination capabilties and Yakuza made his hand stiffen as he made his bones lock to his fingers pointed straight out and rammed his fingers and arm straight through the man. With his hand in the man's body, the warmth of the blood dripping from his hand he brough the man's ears close to his mouth.

"You are going to die...tell me who sent you."

"Urgh..." the blood was starting to enter his esophagus and lungs as he started to drown in his own blood. "...Sw...Sw..ing..." and he collapsed as died. Yakuza thought as he allowed the man's body to fall off his hand and onto the floor knew from his limited words, the Sword King had sent this man to kill him. Maybe the sword king forgot as formidable he may be, that it was still Yakuza himself he sent such a normal hood to deal with him which would have ultimately led to the attacker's death which is exactly what happened.

Soon after the owner of the inn appeared with his own security after all the commotion and noise and saw the mess. He moved Yakuza to another room as Yabedo just stood in his own door way observing everything. He did not even think about intervening because Yakuza would take it as a disrespect and he was just not seeing the need to. He felt sorry for the attacker because the Kaguya was alot less merciful than he was when it came to confrontations. He got to find out that before the man died of severe blood loss he was able to say barely that it was the Sword King that sent him. Yabedo wished someone would attack him next and know that Yakuza wished his attacker was alot more capable.

The next morning, the two left the inn and gave the inn keeper money for the extra trouble which he refused since he was so thankful for what Yakuza did he did not want to take not even a single dollar from Yakuza or his comrade. Yakuza was in deep thought as they went on their way and Yabedo noticed this as he looked at him.

"You know as well as I do that these attacks are not going to stop. The Sword King now knows we are going to come after him and he will intensify his attacks. He will send stronger opponents next time. Are you ready Yakuza?" asked Yabedo as he looked at the Kaguya he could see he had a content expression on his face and relaxed as if he had not a worry in the world then suddenly becoming totally serious.

"If he brings down the entire world and drops it on my head, even if he throws me into the deepest pit and leaves me, even if he buries me i will push through whatever darkness he throws at me. I will revenge the death of my sensei....my father....my friend...."
