The return, and new folk? (Open)

Alec went and made friends with 2 of the other 3 villages. He felt that he would be closer to the desert than the forest because Holeman was there, and he was one of his oldest friends. Temaki seemed straightforward though, and didn't give any reason not to trust her.

"This is Kurayamigakure," Alec said to Destiny after leaving the dock area and heading into the village of tall buildings, walkways, dark passages and back alleys. Konran went off to do his own thing and said he'd meet back up at the house. "There's 4 districts... The one we're in now is the marketplace. It's the biggest district, and the majority of the villagers live and work here. Kuro looks after this district. If you see something black with a bunch of crows flying around that's him.

"To the east of here is the high end district, Artemis is in charge over there; to the south are the slums, Kinzoku is looking after that, and up north is the Admin Complex. The big house there is where we'll be living." Alec waved to a few people while the walked through the village streets.

Alec put a hand to his ear. "Guys. Anyone there? We're back. Any problems in the village? Anything interesting happen while we were out?... We made friends with the sand and the forest. No one was in the water village but we met the daughter of the Kage in the desert. We even ran into Holeman and Dez... Anything going on here?"

It looked as if everything was legit for the most part, but looks could be deceiving...

"Yeah, everything's fine," Kinzoku answered back. Kurai was outside the village with his sister and someone else, and Kuro didn't talk much, so he figured he should be the one to speak up. "Holeman lives in the desert, then. And Dez is here too, that's good news."

Kinzoku was upon the roof of a nearby building. "Nothing happened here, but since we got rid of those headbands, some of the villagers are coming out of hiding now. There's a few new people around. Some guy with funny eyes, he looks pretty strong. I may be mistaken but I think I also saw some of the Uchiha Clan around here as well."

Uchihas... famed for their eyes. Kinzoku wondered what Alec would do if it turned out to be true that some of the Uchiha Clan lived here; if the wrong people caught wind it could quickly become a problem. Though, Kinzoku never had a problem solving them...

Once off the ship Dez paused a moment to close her eyes and use her chakra radar to see. As she listened to her father explain each district she zoomed in on them in turn. The village wasn't quite as large as their previous one, but it was still a decently sized one. She could only imagine the kind of condition it had been in once before her father and everyone else had taken over.

Dez watched Jynx and Artemis stroll by, mentioning something about getting some more training done. She waved to them, figuring she would catch up in a bit. Dez put her wireless communicator in her ear, figuring that's how everyone was likely keeping in touch this time around too. "I'm here; but I look like a little kid now. Medical experiment gone wrong." she said while figuring she might as well get that bit of information out now rather than later: at least this way the fact that she looked like a child again would be explained a little bit.

"Uchiha clan, eh? Huh..." Destiny grew quiet, thinking about the last encounter with dealing with anything related to the Uchiha clan: she had thought she had killed her sister Demi in a transplant gone wrong. While that hadn't been the case, and the incident had caused both her father and her sister's eyes to grow stronger, she still didn't want to deal with something like that over again.

"Get back here butt head! Mom's gonna be mad if we're late for lunch!", Heiwa called after her little brother as she chased him down the steps that led to the docks.

"Not a chance, dog breath! I wanna see the ship! Come on! Just a look and then we'll go home.", responded her ten year old little brother, Akarui, who was using his sheer smaller size as a means to dodge his speedy older sibling.

Heiwa attempted to keep up with her younger sibling; her deep blue high collared jacket with the Uchiha symbol on the back of it flapping in the breeze as she went. "Come on Akarui! We're going to get into so much trouble!"

"Go home then Heiwa. I'll just take a peak and we'll go ho---"

"Akarui, look out!", Heiwa shouted as her brother nearly ran right into the blind folded man and his daughter. At the last minute her brother skidded to a stop, landing on his butt. He stared up at the pair as Heiwa skidded to a stop next to him. "Sorry, my brother wasn't watching where he was going." Heiwa reached down and hauled her younger brother to his feet before actually getting a good look at the individuals her brother had almost ran into.

Before Heiwa could say anything, however, her brother spoke up with a great deal of awe and amazement in his voice, "Wow! You're that Alec Kane guy right?! I heard you guys kicked all kinds of butt!"

Heiwa took another good look to realize her brother had been right. "So cool..." She then shook her head, realizing she was being a bit rude. "Sorry, I'm Heiwa, this is my little brother Akarui. We'll get out your way.", she said, tugging on her little brother's sleeve who wasn't moving.

Akira ran and jumped across rooftops and across walls. Sometimes he'd zip between buildings on the lines that were set up. He was glad that he was able to do this without someone chasing him or telling him to come down from there.

He'd done a job and killed a scumbag. He'd earned himself a few ryo too. This was just the beginning, so he wasn't going to let this go to his head. Akira didn't even brag to his siblings or anything of the like; he didn't even mention what happened.

It was while zipping from one tall building to the next that he saw a ship coming into the docks, over in the marketplace. It was probably the white haired man Alec Kane coming back from where ever he went, and as Akira wanted to get a better look at the guy, he changed directions.

As he got closer he could see Heiwa and what had to be one of her siblings headed in that direction too. Around the time that her brother nearly ran into Alec was when Akira had quickly made his way down to the ground by bouncing himself between the buildings.

Akira bravely walked over to the scene with Heiwa and her brother, glancing towards the man Luke and the girl Destiny first before looking up at Alec. He seemed to be a strange, mysterious guy.

"Hi," Akira said, waving. A plain but calm expression was on his face, as usual. "Uchiha Akira..."

(Kinzoku is on a roof nearby, talking to me through a wireless communicator, btw @ Luke.)

"The Uchiha clan, huh?... Interesting... very interesting..." replied Alec after Dez mention that she was a kid again, his sarcastic grin appearing at his lips.

It was around this time that another individual made his presence known and went to a kneeling position in front of Alec. Alec had never seen this person before. He must have been one of the folk in hiding when the Headband gang was in charge. Like Kinzoku said, he had funny eyes.

He introduced himself as Luke Yasenha, and stated that he was one of Alec's new Jounin. He said that he was sorting out the academy - something he himself had planned on doing - and that he was organizing teachers, and also working on ninjutsu in order to... seduce people?

It all just made Alec chuckle some. When Luke looked up at him, Alec "looked" back down to meet his stare. Alec stood 6 feet 6 inches tall. He had shoulder length white hair and a blindfold over his eyes, though with the way he carried himself, he didn't seem blind at all. Alec was wearing a black hooded cloak, the hood currently down. The cloak was actually much more that it seemed. In his right hand was a polished walking stick; it too actually much more than it seemed. At Alec's left side was a katana, the scabbard glowing, leaking a white substance that resembled smoke. Just one glance noted that Alec Kane was a man full of secrets.

"Stand up," Alec said to Luke, making a motion with his left hand for him to do so. "No need to bow to me, or to call me Kuraikage or anything like that. To follow the example of another Kage I recently met, I don't put myself above anyone. My name is Alec Kane, you can call me Alec."

Alec put his left hand to the side of his head, to have a look around. Indeed, he could see several people out that weren't out before he left. Word had to be spreading that they weren't tyrants that were going to run the village through force and terror.

"Much appreciated with everything you've been doing since we were gone, Luke, but you seem to be moving a tad fast, yes?... Leave the Academy to me... My sources tell me that we have some young ones coming out of hiding, young ones to add to the ones we already have... Eventually I want to get some squads going, but you're unproven right now. So... why don't you go and do a few jobs around the village first, then come back and see me. I'll be watching and evaluating, if I like what I see then we'll go from there, sound good?"

A couple of kids were headed in his direction. One seemed excited, while the other seemed reluctant. Alec also noticed someone else expertly running across the rooftops and zipping across the lines that connected many of the buildings. The young boy almost crashed into him, looking up and calling him by name. "Haha, you heard right, young man," he responded.

The girl introduced herself as Heiwa, and said that her little brother's name was Akauri. The other boy who was running on the rooftops made his way to the ground and over to them as well, saying that his name was Akira Uchiha. All of them were dressed like Uchiha, and the clan symbol was in clear view. Alec "looked" at the 3 of them with a grin.

"So there are Uchiha here, then... I was told your clan was all but extinct, but it seemed that some of you made it out of that massacre from all those centuries ago. Well, i'm thinking we'll have to take special care of you all then, because if the wrong people hear that some of you are living here, it could create a situation... Anyways, the both of you seem like you've been doing some training, aspiring to become proper shinobi, are you?"

Dez said she looked like a little kid now because of an experiment gone wrong. Kinzoku wasn't surprised. He remembered all the weird stuff she used to be up to back in Makkura.

Alec was approached by a few villagers. One was the guy with the eyes, and the others were kids; members of the Uchiha Clan. Kinzoku himself never thought he'd get to see members of the infamous clan. Alec said that they'd have to take special care of them, and Kinzoku agreed with him.

"I'll be around, Alec, Dez," said Kinzoku as he turned and began to move off, seeing that Alec had begun to converse with the villagers. "Let me know if you need anything..."

A strong individual she had never seen before came up on them and kneeled down in front of her father, he introduced himself as Luke and explained what he had been up to since her father had been out of the village. Destiny raised an eyebrow in curiosity: it was a bit stranger to see some unknown person doing all of this work just to do it. Her father commented that he was moving a bit fast, and that Luke should prove himself by doing some missions for the village while Alec took care of the Academy getting set up himself.

Before Destiny could say anything, though, two children came running up; a little boy and a slightly younger girl. They were dressed in Uchiha garb, and the little boy skidded to a spot and landed on his butt right before he would have come crashing into Alec. The young girl came skidding to a stop nearby and introduced herself as Heiwa, and her little brother as Akarui. Another individual arrived moments later who introduced himself as Akira Uchiha. So, these were the Uchiha children roaming around?

She happened to agree with her father: if people found out they had Uchiha in their village, especially vulnerable ones, people were likely to come and try something funny. These Uchiha would have to be looked after, and their safety ensured.

Kinzoku left; likely to go patrol the village or something, and Destiny found her own curiosity beginning to rise. She felt like exploring herself, but first she wanted to get settled in. "I think I'm going to go get settled in, dad. I'll be around in a bit. Gonna go check in with Hikari too and get that uh... sitaution looked into. I have my wireless comm if you need me for anything." She didn't want to speak around strangers what exactly was wrong with her: she didn't know how much she could trust them after all. She would linger long enough to see if her father had anything else to add before she would dart off towards the building her father had described as home now: it wasn't hard to find with her chakra radar.

Akira arrived, she recognized him from the mission that they had done together when they escorted the leader of one of the minor villages back home and ended up kicking some missing-nin butt in the process. It had been fun, and she was looking forward to the chance to do something like that again. She offered a wave of greeting and a friendly smile before she would turn her attention back onto Alec while still attempting to tug her little brother out of his way by his sleeve. He was still awestruck by Alec and the rest of his friends.

After a tug or two her little brother budged, moving out of his way and Destiny's as she took off and left to head home. Heiwa listened as Alec mentioned taking special care of them, and said that if the wrong person heard about them and the fact that they were living in Kurayamigakure no Sato it could cause a situation. It reminded her of exactly why her father had told her they had moved to this village in the first place when she was a baby: to escape trouble just like that and because her parents hadn't wanted her to grow up as a 'typical Uchiha' as they had called it. She voiced none of this inner thinking, though, and instead focused on the question that Alec had actually asked them.

She nodded her head yes with a grin. "Yes, sir. My dad used to be a Jounin before he and my mom retired and moved here when I was a baby. He's been teaching me what he knows in secret, my little brother too: he said he wanted to make sure we were safe from those weird guys with the funny headbands." Her little brother didn't speak, but he nodded in agreement to what she was saying.

Her attention then shifted for the first time on the individual who had called himself Luke. When she heard him say that he taught his students about seduction and how it was beneficial to ninja missions she couldn't help but make a face; one that her little brother mimicked too. Neither one of them cared for that kind of idea; then again, they were still children.

Heiwa then looked down to her brother who was tugging on her sleeve now. "I'm going to go tell mom where you are so we don't get into trouble." Heiwa nodded, and then watched as her brother moved past everyone and took off at a run back towards their once hidden compound. She was a bit surprsied her brother was being so nice, but she had a feeling it had something to do with meeting someone he could look up to that wasn't family.

Alec Kane was talking to the guy kneeling at first, then he turned his attention to Heiwa and him. Heiwa waved to Akira, and he waved back. Heiwa's brother said Alec kicked a lot of butt, and Alec said that he'd heard right. Alec seemed to be looking right at them even though he had something covering his eyes. How was he doing that? it made Akira look a little puzzled.

Alec Kane seemed surprised that there were Uchiha here, and indicated that he knew about the Uchiha Clan Massacre from way back. He said that they'd have to be taken care of, because bad people would come. Bad people who would want their eyes, Akira knew this without anyone telling him. It made him kind of glad that, unlike his older brother Akuma, he hadn't managed to activate his yet. If he kept going like he was going it would happen sooner or later, Akira knew this.

Alec said that it looked like they'd been training, and asked if they planned on being proper shinobi. "Yes," he responded. "My parents trained me and my brothers and sisters from the time we could walk... My parents were never proper shinobi but the ways were passed down to them through the generations. Heiwa and me did a mission earlier; we escorted an Uzumaki to one of the little villages nearby. Somebody tried to attack us but we dealt with them easy enough..."

If this guy was blind and had a glowing sword, and if he was able to deal with the guys who were here before, he had to be pretty amazing. Akira wondered if he took in students. There had to be all kinds of things he could learn from him that he could never learn from his parents...

Luke said Alec worked hard and went through much to earn the title of Kuraikage, to which he only chuckled again. Actually, he'd dealt with that boss and his lieutenants pretty easily. He said it was only out of respect that he bowed and referred to him by his proper title. Luke seemed somewhat confused when Alec said that he was unproven. He went on to say that he took his job as a teacher quite seriously, and that he taught about seduction and how it was beneficial on missions.

Luke wasn't going to disagree with Alec though, and he said that he'd do what he was asked, and asked if Alec had something specific in mind. "Not really," Alec responded. "Just pick up a few missions from the mission board. Depending on how you do them, we'll talk more about the academy and students. Don't misunderstand, i'm not singling you out, I just want you to prove yourself. That's all."

Destiny left, saying that she was going to go get settled in. She had the same eyes of chakra that he did, so it would be easy enough for her to find her way around. Alec nodded his head to her before she was gone.

Heiwa said that her father was once a Jounin before retiring and moving here. He taught them the basics in secret when the village was under the rule of the Headbands. Her little brother ran off saying he was going to let their parents know where they were.

Akira said that his parents had taught he and his siblings from the time they could walk. His people hadn't been ranked, but their skills were passed down to them through the generations. Akira also said that he and Heiwa complete a mission earlier: the escort of someone from a nearby village back home. Someone attacked, and they defended themselves. Alec was impressed.

"Good job... good job indeed. That Uzumaki must have been from the nearby village, they want to get trade going again. Since you two fought to protect him this will ease the tensions between the villages, i'm proud of you... I'll tell you what, I don't often take in students anymore, but to meet pure blood Uchiha is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Maybe I can teach you two a few things so that you can better protect yourselves and your clan, would that be something you'd be interested in?"

The last thing he wanted was for someone to exploit these kids just for the hidden powers in their eyes. If someone did come along, with what he would teach them, they would be able to properly defend themselves.

Heiwa practically exploded in excitement when Alec said good job to them in response to Akira informing him of the mission they had done and what had happened during it. The people they had been fighting hadn't been all that skilled, and both her fight and Akira's seemed to have gone very well and ended easily. But, it was still nice to be complimented like that, and it caused a huge grin to spread across the girl's face. Alec then went on to say that he was proud of them, and she couldn't wait to tell her parents and little brother that: the fact that she had made the Kuraikage himself proud? She was bursting with joy, and more determination than ever to continue to prove herself and to complete more missions as well as accomplish greater things.

When she heard that the Kuraikage himself was willing to be their sensei, well, she was having to restrain herself from jumping into the air and whooping with excitement. This was definitely awesome, and an opportunity she had never saw coming: she had grown used to her father's training, and could only imagine what epic and awesome things the Kuraikage himself would be able to teach them. "Wow, really?! That'd be super awesome!", she exclaimed ecitedly.

Out of the corner of her eye she watched as Luke, after saying his own parting words, left once more, leaving them alone with Alec Kane. She found herself wondering what sort of missions Alec Kane would expect someone who was a Jounin to complete to prove themselves, but then allowed the thought to go since it was really none of her business in the first place. Instead, she went back to focusing on the awesome idea that the Kuraikage himself was now her sensei, and her parents were going to be bursting with happiness when they found out and her little brother likely bursting with jealousy. "Are we going to have squad meetings and stuff, too?" She had heard about them from her father; he had had quite a few squads himself when he was a active Jounin; but she had never thought to belong to a proper squad. Things were definitely turning out pretty darn awesome!

Alec praised them. Heiwa grinned and seemed like she was very excited. Akira would be lying if he said he wasn't as well. The grin seemed stuck to his face to hear that the Kuraikage himself was proud of them for easing tensions between this village and the next one.

He went on to say that meeting a pure blood Uchiha was a once-in-a-lifetime thing, meaning there weren't really a whole lot of them left anymore. He said he didn't really take in students anymore, but he offered to take them in, and even to teach them some thing to take care of themselves and the rest of the clan.

"Yeah?" Akira said, his face lighting up and his eyes becoming wider. This was what he'd always dreamed of, to be trained by a master. His parents training him and showing him the basics was cool, but to learn from a real master, who'd been out in the world, who'd fought horribly srong villains and beaten them, easily... "My mom is gonna have a baby. The brothers and the sisters will be so jealous too, I can't wait to see their faces!"

Alec told the man Luke to prove himself by going and doing some missions, kind of like the one him and Heiwa did. It made sense; Alec didn't know this guy from adam. So Akira figured Alec was asking Luke to go do some missions so he could be able to trust him. Totally seemed like something a Kage would do.

Heiwa asked if they were going to have squad meetings, something Akira was curious of too. He'd heard about proper villages, teachers, Kage and the like from some of the old ones. It finally looked like they were going to experience it for themselves...

Luke seemed to understand what Alec was asking him to do, or so he hoped. He got up and moved off.

Heiwa and Kaira both seemed to be excited about the chance to be trained by himself. With his own Sarcastic grin, Alec nodded his head. He would make sure they were both prepared for the occasion that someone came looking for them and attempted to steal their eyes, and also to protect their families. Uchihas were rare in these times, and Alec didn't doubt that someone would come along trying to exploit them.

"Excellent... And yes, there will be squad meetings and such. Your training will begin tomorrow morning. The big house up north, I want you two to show up there bright and early, alright? I'll see you coming. I wouldn't eat too much either, else you might throw it back up."

Alec waved to the 2 Uchihas before turning to head towards the north district...

Akira seemed to be as equally excited about Alec Kane, the Kuraikage himself, taking them on to be his students as she was. It was definitely something to be excited about, and even to be proud about if she was honest with herself. It wasn't a chance that came around every lifetime, and she was sure glad it was a chance she was being given. Her brother was definitely going to be envious when she told him, and her parents would surely be proud. Speaking of: she knew she should be heading back soon so that she didn't get into trouble, then again she likely wouldn't considerign what she would have to tell them when she did return to her house.

Alec answered her question about squad meetings with a yes, stating that their training would begin tomorrow. He wanted the two of them to show up at the big house up north bright and early, and mentioned that they shouldn't eat too much beforehand or else they might end up throwing up which made her wonder what sort of intense training they would end up doing. Heiwa nodded to all of this, saving it all to memory so that she wouldn't forget. She doubted she would be able to sleep much that night given her excitement, but she would set a bunch of alarm clocks if she had to to make sure she was up and on time: she had no intentions of being late. The strangest comment he made, however, was that he'd see them coming: she still didn't understand how he saw things when he was apparently blind - or so she assumed given the blindfold. Maybe this would be one of the secrets they'd get a chance to one day learn? Who knew.

She would wave goodbye to Alec and then, still grinning, turn towards Akira. "This is pretty cool, who knew we'd get this kind of chance. I'll see you tomorrow Akira. I have to go tell my parents what's going on; I'm sure my little brother is going to be jealous." She would wait around long enough to see if he said anything, and to give him a chance to if he did, before with another wave of goodbye she would dart off as fast as she could move in the direction of her once hidden home.

Alec said that there'd be squad meetings. He said to meet them tomorrow morning at the house the boss of that scum gang used to live in, and not to eat too much, because they might just throw it back up. That made him think some. He also said that he'd "see them coming."

He was confused, but excited. Trained by the Kage himself. What kind of techniques would they learn? Akira was prepared for anything at this point, especially if it meant he could help the village, and protect the clan from eye thieves.

Heiwa was pretty excited herself. She said her brother was going to be jealous, and that she'd see him tomorrow. "Yeah, so's mine. I'll see you then too," he responded, then he too ran off, headed for home...
