The Guards and Escorts (Open)

Sometimes people just needed to learn when enough was enough, and that's exactly what this situation seemed to be. Myuto seemed content in keeping himself out of the sitaution by drawing and Miyuki couldn't blame him for that. Jayr seemed equally as concerned with getting Okami to calm down as Miyuki did: neither seemed intent on seeing the young Kane murder the guy, let alone wanting to smell the aftermath of it.

However, Muninn, the ex-Harukage, came out of the room with the other Kage and seemed to add enough fuel to the fire to have Shizuka reacting. Miyuki knew sage mastery levels of chakra and speed when she knew it. Shizuka was no mere Genin, and apparently not to be underestimated. It would take someone with Perception of her speed level to see her move, and someone of her speed to even be able to try and dodge out of the way. Miyuki doubted the Harukage had either since he had lost his arm so quickly to two crazy people.

At the same time Suna, who Miyuki was still sure there was something wrong with, lashed out at the ex-Harukage in anger over what he had said. Miyuki herself was pissed off about that, given all of the assumptions he was trying to make and how he was trying to tell everyone how they should think and feel when it came to Okami. "You listen here you little shit; don't you talk to Suna like that or Jr. In fact, you say another word to either about how he should feel and I'll reach into your mind and remove your ability to ever speak again. If you don't think I can do it then think again, I'm a Kamizuki, I've got pyshic powers in droves and Genjutsu to make your skin crawl."

It was then that Miyuki would switch to telepathy, sending Muninn a further message only he would be able to hear. "I suggest you leave now and not come near Suna or Jr ever again with those assumptions of yours..." There would be no blocking her of course, not unless he had an ability that allowed him to block out telepathy which she doubted as only most Genjutsu clans did. Her eyes would be narrowed, fists clenched: the normally calm Miyuki was utterly pissed off and showing a side of herself rarely ever seen. But, that was just how it was, you didn't fuck with her friends.

Kamizuki Telpathy:

Finally, she'd turn her blue colored gaze onto Shizuka with a sigh. Miyuki wasn't even going to try and pry the girl off because she didn't want to risk being the next one to face her wrath. "Please let him go so him and Okami can leave: I don't want this situation getting worse than it is...." She could only hope the girl would listen, or that someone else would come along that could get her to release Muninn.

Kurai entered the dining room. There was a scene going on in there. The quiet girl that Kane rescued had Muninn up against the wall by his throat. Kurai, because of his own Sage mastery, could see that Shizuka was also a Sage in her own right. He didn't have an expression on his face, whereas Little Kong looked disgusted.

"I thought Alec told you to come out here and defuse the situation, not add fuel to it? Why aren't you on the way back to Mori, like Alec told you?" Kurai said calmly to Muninn as he was pinned against the wall. "You're speaking on matters you know nothing about, and have nothing to do with you, Muninn. You're not getting any closer to getting your hat back like this, either. Suppose I let this girl, who's only a Genin, kill you? To die to a Genin, wouldn't that be the ultimate disgrace? Let's not even mention what Junior here would do to you. As a Senju, you must have a weakness to fire, and you dare speak that way to someone who has an ancient fire spirit sealed inside of him? Do you have brain damage?... Your ancestors must be looking down at you, ashamed right now."

Kurai didn't know Shizuka, and there was the chance that he would attack him next, but he was prepared. He didn't mean her any harm, and put a hand on her shoulder. "Shizuka, would you let him go, please? I have to go train this idiot so that he can be a proper leader, as much as I wouldn't mind keeping the Harukage position. I think you know at this point he's harmless."

Kurai turned to look towards Okami and Jayr. "You two can start heading back towards Mori. Me, Little Kong, Muninn and my sister will be right behind you. I have plans for the two of you as well, get going."

Should everything end peacefully and not in violence, Kurai and Little Kong would head out soon after the others after giving a wave to those who remained.

... Jayr couldn't believe how things were playing out. Morigakure was beginning to look like a joke out of all of the villages. Even the water village whom she had heard hadn't had a active Kage in quite a long time was looking to be stronger and in better shape then her own village. Jayr could only shake her head in disgust. This whole situation was beginning to look volatile, and sure enough it erupted like a volcano would.

Muninn came back out from the Kage meeting room and instantly began to try and scold Jr. Kane. He said that Okami didn't deserve all of the hatred and the treatment he was getting from everyone, and that if anyone had a reason to still hold a grudge against him it was Suna. Jayr thought he was making a lot of assumptions without actually asking people how they felt, but since he was the Harukage--- wait what? He had been demoted? Not only that but the person taking over his position wasn't even a Morigakure nin... Just wow. Muninn went on to tell Okami and herself that they were to respect him the same as they would respect him or Temaki; then went on and asked if he had made himself clear. Jayr didn't really care for being talked to like a child, let alone treated as if she had done something strong when she hadn't. Before Jayr could respond though a situation started.

The girl who had up until that point been nearby Jr. Kane flew into attack mode and had Muninn pinned to the wall by his throat so fast that Jayr couldn't even try and track the movement. The girl could move, and was apparently not to be underestimated. Jayr, to her credit or discredit depending on who you probably asked, didn't even budge from her spot. She just ended up taking another hit of her bowl while waiting to see if Shizuka ended up kiling him or not - it wasn't so much that she was uncaring she simply knew she didn't stand a chance against someone like that.

Suna began to rage out though it definitely still looked like something was wrong with him, as did the girl who was with him. The girl even went so far as to threaten to take away his ability to ever speak again, and said that she was a Kamizuki and because of that it was no empty bluff but an actual fact and an ability that she had.

The new Harukage came out of the room then and began to try and diffuse the situation in a way. He said that he had told Muninn to come out here and try and diffuse the situation, not to add fuel to the fire. Kurai said that Muninn was speaking on things he knew nothing about, and wasn't on the proper path to get his hat back at this rate. He then said about allowing Shizuka to kill him, and how dying to a Genin would be an ultimate disgrace for someone in his position. He also brought up the fact that as a Senju he was weak to fire, and that it was stupid to antagonize someone who had a fire spirit sealed inside of them. Kurai then put a hand on Shizuka's shoulder and asked her to let him go, that at this point she had to know he was harmless.

When Kurai focused his attention onto herself and Okami she paid attention. He said that he had plans for the both of them as well, and that they should start heading back and he, his sister, and Muninn would follow. Jayr bowed respectfully, slipped her bowl back into its special pouch and then took off without having to be told twice. She had no interest in getting on this Kurayami-nin, now turned Harukage's, bad side.

Sighing, Okami would let the Nature Energy settle. He hadn't needed Muninn's support, and to hear that he had been temporarily demoted was an unfortunate surprise. Another little surprise was that Kurai was the new Harukage. Honestly, he didn't mind so much, as the man was clearly strong enough and seemed to have a plan that involved training all three of the Mori nin that were present. Standing up and brushing himself off, he would apologize to everyone present for any misunderstandings and step out the door. He didn't want to mess with so many Sages at once, especially as he hadn't mastered his Sage Mode yet.

Stopping by Miyuki and Suna, he would look at them for a moment and smile. "You know, I really am sorry for everything."

After saying his piece, he would step out of the room and sigh, following Jayr. Things just did not look good for his Village, and Muninn was obviously going to have a rough time of it getting the hat back.

The Muninn Senju guy came out and started barking. Okami didn't deserve this treatment this, Suna's the only one who should be mad that. Blah blah blah. As his suspicions about his father taking his village were true, this guy was little more than a village ninja now, but called himself talking down at Jr as if he still had some sort of authority. It was all enough to push Jr over the edge, his eyes beginning to glow a furious red color. Growling, Jr turned, shaping his right hand into a spear-like shape, preparing to drive it into the chest of the Senju, then he--

Shizuka was off in a flash. She was so fast, even Jr couldn't keep up with her. The next thing he knew, she had the Senju pinned up against the wall. It was enough to torn Jr's rage into surprise, and cause his eyes to stop glowing. There was more to this girl than met the eye, and he liked it. Everyone had their turn to say their peace, and issue their own threats, except for the water nin, who sat at the table drawing pictures and wisely staying out of the mess.

Kurai finally came out with Little Kong and added his peace too, asking Muninn why he hadn't left like he was told to, and instead coming out here to add fuel to the fire. He said some other things, like how it would be a disgrace to be killed by a Genin, and how his ancestors had to be ashamed of him. Kurai calmly asked Shizuka to let him go, since he was the one who had to train the idiot, and told Okami and Jayr to start heading back.

Jr wasn't going to press the issue any further, and just grinned. He got in front of Shizuka and put his arms around her, attempting to dislodge her from the Senju. "Come on, Quiet, come on," he said to her, squeezing his arms a little tighter around her curvy frame; the feel of her enough to calm him down completely, and activate another emotion entirely. "No need to kill the weakling, leave him be. Come on..."

If he allowed her to, Jr would reach up and remove her hand from around his throat, and put both of her arms around him the same as he had his around her. He turned to look at Muninn with an expression of sarcasm. "I'd leave if I were you, right now," he'd say. "Just leave... don't say anything else, and walk out of here. You came real close to having your insides on the outside, so count your blessings... Kurai just saved your life, and so did I. Stay away from this village if you like breathing, get me?"

Muninn's gaze flared in rage. What the hell was everyone thinking? It was a serious issue, and it needed to be addressed. He hadn't been talking down to anyone, other than the sternness in his voice being quite obvious. Responding to the words speaking in his head, he would reply in thought that he hadn't really meant anything by it other than trying to make a point. It was a valid one, and no one other than the former Mori nin had a right to be pissy about Okami. He digressed, however, and turned his attention to Kurai, who was trying to talk down to him and to Junior, who was being a bit of a brat with too much power for his age. Not that he'd ever say anything aloud due to his temper issues, mind you, but it was again a valid point. Kurai at least was being sensible, however, and made a very good point. With the speed that the young lady had grabbed him, she likely had some sort of ability that boosted her battle prowess beyond what it should have been, and that made her more powerful than he was. Physically, everything but his speed needed work. He could have probably pulled some room between them by using Mokuton, but to use any of his abilities on her would be an act of war. Fuck.

If he was dropped, he would begin to rub his throat with his single hand, turning to Kurai. "I'm sorry. I just didn't like the way they were treating Okami. He hadn't done anything to them to deserve it. I get the feeling that even you are willing to work with him after his past stupidity. I mean, seriously. Even after losing my arm, I don't hold a grudge against Ranmaru and Kaia-Mai. It's in the past, so I just let it go and want to work forward to better myself. Can we go now?"

Giving a final look around the room, he would walk out and wait outside for Kurai to join him. He had a lot to work on, and less time to do it in.

Shizuka while holding Muninn in the air thought of every way possible she could kill him before anyone could stop her: a snap of the neck, a light release bullet from her gun, a kunai to the heart. Yet, she didn't do any of those things, she just continued to glare at him up until the point that Kurai put his hand on her shoulder. A shift of her gaze told her who is was and the fact that he was a Kurayami-nin, or had been, was enough to keep her from reacting violently. His pleas for her to let Muninn go was the only thing that was keeping the former Harukage alive.

However, it wasn't until Junior got in front of her did she fully begin to respond and allowed her hand to be removed from Muninn's neck. She felt Junior wrap his arms around her, and her arms around him, and allowed herself to be moved away from the former Harukage though she didn't take her eyes off of him for even a second: she didn't trust him not to try something stupid in an attempt to seek some kind of revenge.

It was clear that both Junior and Kurai wanted Muninn to leave, to leave and to behave himself, but would he? Junior told him not to say anything at all, to leave without making a comment, likely to try and keep Shizuka from going after him again or perhaps to try and help keep his own temper in check. Muninn began to speak despite Junior's warning for him to just leave and Shizuka was beginning to get the feeling that the guy had a death wish, or perhaps was trying to egg one of them into attacking him again. Shizuka, to her credit, was far calmer this close to Junior than she had been moments ago when she had slammed Muninn up against the wall by his throat: it was Junior's arms around her that was keeping her from making another go at the guy.

So, instead, she watched him walk out of the dining room. Several seconds after he was truly gone her whistling would stop and a soft content hum would start up. She was glad Muninn was gone, and quite content being this close to Junior too. Idly she would reach up with her right hand and began to run her fingers through his hair idly. While she did so she found herself wondering if she would get into some kind of trouble for attacking Muninn, though she had no regrets in doing so.

Suna, who still looked like something was wrong with him, even moreso now, didn't have anything nice to say back to Muninn. He was holding his head in his hands. Myuto looked at him, concerned. What was up with him? Miyuki likewise had nothing nice to say back to Muninn, and threatened to do him serious harm.

Kurai the new Harukage asked him why he hadn't left yet. He said his actions weren't getting him any closer to getting the Harukage title back, and that it would be a disgrace for him to be killed by a Genin. He also said it was a dumb move to be talking down to someone who was his main weakness: fire. Kurai and Jr pleaded with the quiet girl to let Muninn go so that he could leave, with Jr telling him not to say anything else and to just walk out. Kurai told Okami and Jayr to start heading back to Mori, with Okami giving one final apology to Miyuki and Suna before heading out.

Muninn was let go, and started talking again. He half expected Jr or Shizuka to attack and end him, but then, they made it clear that they just wanted him to leave. He was soon turning and heading out of the Kane Mansion. Myuto took a deep breath and let it out slow. Through it all, his plain expression hadn't changed, even though this was the most action and excitement that he'd seen in a long time. He'd quickly sketched pictures of everything to capture the moments, sipping his Kurayami water, and was now putting the finishing touches on his pictures.

Umiko would likely be coming out of the room next, and it would be time to head home to show his family the many pictures of his journey he'd drawn.

...Suna didn't even want to watch this shit. Normally, he'd be laughing and ragging on this weak Senju man. But this situation, him, and that lobster Okami were the last things on his mind. Suna didn't even look up when Okami apologized. He wasn't paying attention to what Kurai said, or what Jr said, or what Muninn said when the quiet girl Shizuka let him go.

The pain was dulled since he was looking down towards the floor, but that didn't mean it was gone. He was irritated and in pain, as if someone took something solid across his head several times. Suna wanted all of these idiots to just disappear. He liked this village a lot, but right now he just wanted to go home, and lie in his bed until these pains disappeared, even if it took days. The drama around him seemed to just make the headache worse.

Suna didn't want Miyuki to worry about him and start asking questions again, or even worse, tell coach Emiko. He would have to endure until he was back in Sabaku, where he could retreat into the solitude of his 2 roomed house. He sat up straight again, slowly feeling the pains building up and become worse yet again...

~Suna Out~

"Someone very wise once told me that your actions have a ripple effect. What you do, the things you say, they're like ripples on a pond. Okami tried something stupid with Suna, but that doesn't mean Suna is the only one who has a right to have an issue with him, Muninn. I'm Suna's friend, I was there that day, I have a problem with Okami too. He just needs to deal with it. You need to deal with it. You talking to people as if you're better than them and superior to them isn't going to help the situation either. Sometimes your actions cannot be simply undone by an apology; sometimes they can never be undone. Okami just needs to accept that." Miyuki felt she had to say her peace before Muninn left, so she did.

They were all linked in some way or another to the situation that Okami caused: either directly or indirectly. Therefore they all had a right to have a problem with him despite what Muninn might have thought. She imagined that Shizuka had done what she had done because she felt it was warrented due to the way Muninn had been speaking to Junior, just as Muninn had felt the need to stick up for Okami. Ripples. Lots of ripples.

Miyuki focused her attention back on Suna, able to tell that something was still very wrong with him. She wasn't going to pry if he didn't want to tell her so instead she settled on figuring it was time to go home. "Suna? Why don't we go wait out front for Emiko sensei. She should be along shortly... If he was willing to follow her, and capable of doing so, she would wave goodbye to everyone and then head out of the mansion.

"I'm sorry. I just didn't like the way they were treating Okami. He hadn't done anything to them to deserve it. I get the feeling that even you are willing to work with him after his past stupidity. I mean, seriously. Even after losing my arm, I don't hold a grudge against Ranmaru and Kaia-Mai. It's in the past, so I just let it go and want to work forward to better myself. Can we go now?"

Man, was this guy asking to get killed. These guys loved running their mouthes and offering up all kinds of bullshit excuses for their actions, expecting everyone to just go "OK" and accept it. "Like I said," Jr retorted. "That guy tried to pull a sword on Suna. That isn't something you just let go and hug it out over. I don't know about Suna, but i'll never like that idiot, and i'll never like you either. Now i'm done talking to you, you're irritating me to no end."

Miyuki explained to Muninn the consequences of their actions before he left. Jr, still hugged up with Shizuka, looked towards Kurai. "Man... are you gonna have your hands full looking after those two morons. Good luck bro, you're gonna need it." Jr gave him a thumbs up, then squeezed Shizuka somewhat.

"Don't worry about dad, Quiet. Honestly I don't think he'll care, he hasn't come out here. If he was mad at you he'd have been in your face by now, so it's no sweat. Those guys are idiots, and best of all, gone now. So things can get back to normal around here. I think i'm gonna go relax a while. All this excitement has me worked up...."

Jr let go of Shizuka, waving back to Miyuki as she left, and also to Myuto and Kurai, before heading towards the staircase and up to one of the rooms...

Junior said not to worry about his father; that if he had had a problem with what happened he would have been in her face by now and she'd know it. He added that Muninn and Okami were idiots, and best of all they were gone now. He then said that he was going to go relax for a while, that all of the excitement had him worked up.

Shizuka watched him leave and then, humming loudly once more, she headed outside so that she could take up her favorite perch on top of the left tower. She jumped from one thing to the next until making it to the roof where she sat down comfortable. She unhooked her gunscythe from her belt after that and opened it up so that she could look through it, watching the village as she so often did...

...And the room had pretty much cleared out at that point. Myuto finished the pictures of the confrontation and filled his bottle back up. He put the drawings away and stood, heading outside onto the front porch.

Taking a seat on the steps, Myuto pulled out his paper and pencils to sketch one last picture of Kurayamigakure's skyline. This had been an interesting experience, and it was good to be informed on things. Sabakugakure and Murayamigakure nin had problems with nin in Morigakure. The forest village was looking weak at first, but with the edition of 2 strong Kurayamigakure nin, things looked to change.

Myuto took a walk through the streets, taking everything in. Kuraiyamigakure was nearly as big as Umigakure. Everyone looked happy and thriving even though they lived in constant darkness. Myuto made plans to revisit, and took a position near the front gates to wait for the Umikage.
