| - Mission Being Taken - Uphill Battle:
Mission name: Uphill Battle Mission rank: A Objective: Investigate the bandits and intercept to destroy them. Location: All Villages Reward: 1 Word = 1 Ryo | 900 Words Minimum Mission description: Report of raiders in the southern lands have the people worrying for their safety while traveling. Hunt down the raiders and kill them Mission details: The leader of the Bandits is a man that summons wolverines to fight for him. The man and the wolverines are B-rank in physical power, and he doesn't use any other chakra abilities outside of summoning. The rest of his men are genin in power; and there are 15 of them.
Namie had undergone a lot of changes since being assigned a squad, and then being allowed to live in the Kane Mansion. Her hair was no longer a multitude of colors meant to show her rebellious behavior and instead was a bluish black color now and quite long and presentable looking. Her manner of dressing had also changed: a proper 'school girl' styled uniform in a variety of deep blues anad purples, allowing her to look a bit more professional than she had previously been dressing while at the same time kick ass due to the high polished lace up combat boots on her feet: short shorts black in color worn beneath the skirt portion of her outfit to keep anyone from seeing her panties while fighting. Her Kurayami village hitai-ate was worn around her head, the plate of which was polished to a gleaming shine and situated at the top of her head where it could easily be seen. Sheathed on her back was the katana her sensei had built her named Firestarter. She had been doing a lot of training lately, including enhancing the Chakra Radar which Alec had given her: creating a version that would allow her to do much like the Uchiha's eyes could, and copy abilities she had the appropriate specializations and elements for. For the moment Namie was standing at the bottom steps of the Kane Mansion; she had heard there were some bandits running loose and had planned on helping to take care of the problem - but she knew she couldn't do it single handedly. The mission was A-rank, a bit too hard for her to do yet on her own despite how far her skills had improved lately. Plus, chances were she wasn't dealing with just two or three bandits but bandits and then some: she wasn't going to purposely run into a situation head on without some form of back up. So, with this thought in mind, and figuring she hadn't done anything for a short while with her squad, she headed from the Kage Mansion and to the Uchiha Compound, hoping that she'd end up bumping into Heiwa and Akira there. She had never actually been in the Uchiha Compound before, and upon arrival was hoping she would either find Akira and Heiwa relatively quickly or at least find someone who could happen to point her in the right direction. | Akira had been going easy, mostly because his parents asked him to. He hadn't been doing anything too exciting or strenuous, or anything that put risk to his vision. His parents kept a close watch on him to see if he would have any adverse effects to having someone else's eyes in his head, but there had been none. Akira was fine, and his vision had not been affected. He could see just as well as he did when he had his own eyes.
So now it was time to start training and doing for the village again. He hadn't been allowed to train or do anything but relax and keep out of the way because of his parents being so paranoid, so he felt like he had to shake the rust off. The most he'd been able to do is sharpen Stinger, his custom made chokutÅ sword, although several times he snuck out after dark to practice wielding it. With his medical block lifted, Akira went outside and began his Parkour routine.
He'd been listening in on the "Party Line" and knew that Alec, the quiet girl Shizuka, and someone else who'd been identified as Alec's son went to Morigakure to attend a Kage Summit. He wondered how that was going to turn out. Morigakure wasn't the same since Temaki stepped down, and the new guy there wasn't looking like anything special, from the conversations he managed to pick up on. The people from the water village would be there too; Akira wondered what they were like.
Akira jumped from roof to roof, sliding across ziplines occasionally.

Heiwa, like Akira, had been taking it easy since returning from the sand village. Her parents and little brother were concerned about her, despite her telling them repeatedly that she was fine. Her vision was just as perfect as it had been before the surgery, and everything was in working order. She hadn't needed to take a trip to the hospital to see Destiny or any of the other medics in the village either, as she had had no ill effects thus far.
Her parents had let her return to full duty a few days prior, but she had chosen to take it easy an extra few days for their benefit. However, she was now bored out of her mind and itching for something to do. Sitting still so long after being given the freedom to roam around the village safely sucked.
Heiwa had left her house with her usual outfit of a black long sleeved shirt with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back, black knee length shorts, and black open toed shinobi sandals on her feet; her headband holding her black hair back and out of her face. Her weapons and bow were also on her; weapons in the pouch around her right leg and her bow and quiver of arrows on her back comfortably enough. She had planned on finding something to do when she spotted Namie wandering through the compound's gates. She had never seen the other female here before, so she headed over with a grin and a wave. It was clear that Namie had done some changing in the past week or so: she had a less rebellious nature about her and instead a more serious one.
"Hey, Namie. How've you been? You looking for Akira and I? I was just coming to see if you guys wanted to do something: I'm bored stiff."

| Namie had begun to think that finding Akira and Heiwa was going to be a little bit harder than she first thought. The Uchiha Compound was larger than she thought, and it was only upon actually seeing it that she realized just how many Uchiha clan members had been in hiding when the Headband Gang ruled the village. She felt that familiar feeling of gladness swell up in her once again: gladness that Alec and his friends had come to the village and taken it from the grasp of those who wished to do everyone harm and only better themselves.
Namie was just about to ask a passerby for directions when all of a sudden Heiwa came walking up. Namie grinned from ear to ear and nodded in greeting to her squad mate. "Hey, Heiwa. I've been alright; just doing some training is all. I was looking for you and Akira, actually. I remembered Alec sensei saying he wanted us to do some missions before our next meeting, and I found an interesting one but I need some help with it. It's an A-rank one. There's some bandits causing trouble for some of the merchants and travelers. I figured it'd be perfect given all we'd learned; and easy enough to handle for a couple of people. You interested?"
She glanced around while waiting for a response, wondering if Akira was nearby or not. She had no idea where he or Heiwa actually lived, and hoped that Heiwa did if Akira didn't happen to find them soon enough. She was sure the three of them could handle an A rank mission: if not surely they could find someone willing to help them. But, she'd cross that bridge when it came; for now she needed to know if Heiwa and Akira would accompany her in the first place on such a potentially dangerous mission.

| Akira considered going to look for his cousin and squad mate, before sliding to a stop on a rooftop to see Alec's ship coming back to the docks. Akira didn't have any kind of sensory abilities, so he had to look really hard from where he was. Alec had came back to the village with a bunch of people. 3 of them were the Kage from the other villages, and everyone else had to be bodyguards. Akira recognized Shizuka the Quiet girl, and someone else that had to be Alec's kid. Others looked sort of familiar, such as the sand people, and that Okami guy that everyone seemed to have a problem with.
All of those strong people gathered together in one place was a sight one didn't see often. Akira would probably hear all about what went on sometime in the future. If Alec needed them, he'd find a way to get in touch, so for now he didn't much worry about things. Alec had a bunch of strong loyal people with him, so if there were trouble they'd all be able to handle it; Akira was confident in this. He continued to run and Parkour across the rooftops, zipping across lines and running along walls.
He next caught sight of Heiwa and Namie, who was looking different nowadays. Akira quickly made his way to the ground, jumping the last distance and performing a commando roll on the ground. He rolled back to his feet, dusting himself off and adjusting Stinger while making his way over to his 2 squad mates. "Hey," he said. "Nice new look, Namie. What's up?"

Heiwa looked over to see Akira making his way to the ground, making her think he had been running along the rooftops and higher structures of the village until he had spotted them. He preformed a roll on the ground and then got back up to his feet, adjusting his weapon. He commented on Namie's new look and then asked them what was up.
"Hey, Akira. Namie was just telling me about a mission she wants to do. It's A-rank though, so she doesn't want to try it alone: she wanted to know if we were interested in going with her. There's some bandits who've been causing some problems for the merchants and travelers that need taken care of. I don't mind helping out: Alec sensei told us to do some missions before our next squad meeting anyway."
She then focused for a second on Namie's new look: she did look quite a bit different than before. She looked more professional, and far less rebellious than before. "You look more professional now, Namie...", Heiwa commented thoughtfully. She rather liked it, though she didn't really care what her team-mate looked like as long as Namie was happy in whatever she was wearing.

| "Hey Akira. Thanks. I don't have much of a reason to be all rebellious anymore since Alec sensei took me in, so I figured it was time for a change: I was really only dressing the way I did because of the problems with my family, sort of a way to lash out. Plus, didn't want to make a bad impression on anyone who visited."
Namie went quiet and listened as Heiwa explained what she had come to find them for, to which Namie nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I figured I couldn't do it alone, but if we all worked together we should be alright. Seemed like an interesting mission at least, and a way to try our some of our new skills. Better than having to find some old lady's cat or something, right?" Oh, Namie didn't mind doing the 'Genin' missions if it was needed, but she would definitely much rather handle something like this that involved a good bit of action and adventure.
While waiting for Akira's response she looked back and forth between him and Heiwa. Heiwa seemed down to go, but they were definitely going to need more than two people to do this safely. Namie didn't want another episode like what happened on their last mission - they got lucky that it was only her clone that got killed, this time around if they weren't careful it could actually be one of them.
"So, what do you say? You want to come with us?"

| Namie said she only dressed like she did to lash out at the superiors. Since she lived with Alec now, there was no longer a reason. She and Heiwa spoke of an A-ranked mission; bandits were up to no good out on the roads, giving travelers and merchants a hard time. it was the perfect opportunity to shake off the rust, and give Stinger a drink of bandit blood.
"Fine with me, but shouldn't we take somebody with us?" Akira asked, looking around. "We do want to impress Alec, but we don't want to get in trouble. All of us have learned a bunch, but we don't know what we're getting into. Maybe we should ask one of Alec's hard hitters to go with us, one that doesn't have anything to do with that meeting going on. Better safe than sorry, right?"
Akira pulled on his fingerless gloves tighter while looking around, scanning the rooftops around them. Someone had to be walking around up there.
