Negotiations Ended [Travel, Mori --> Kurayami]

Kurayamigakure was now friends with 2 of the other 3 villages. He had no idea why Umigakure was empty, but he didn't think on it too long. The water girl Neo said she'd visit one day, so maybe he'd find out then. All in all, it was a good trip. He found out one of his closest friends Holeman lived in the desert, and he'd encountered his daughter Destiny, even though she'd been transformed into a child again, and carried around a magical flaming grizzly bear...

The forest disappeared behind them and once again they were out on open waters. there were other ships out there, but some of them seemed to steer away from the Mossberg as it approached. The radar told Alec that some of them were pirate ships, and their occupants had scared looks on their faces as they hurriedly got out of the Mossberg's patch. With his signature sarcastic grin, Alec figured that they'd already created a reputation on the water. This he didn't mind.

The trip back home seemed to be shorter than the trip towards Umi. They seemed to crusie quickly away from the lush green and cool environment and back into the heat of the desert rather quickly, where other ships were scarce.

Things seemed to be going good... He no longer was confined to a room, no longer being beaten half to death everyday. Konran was in the company of good people; a man who got rid of his parents and the evil people they worked with to instantly take him under his wing and began to call him family. His kids seemed alright with him too; Jynx, who'd been locked up like him since a young age, Artemis, who was super strong even though she was around his age, and Destiny, a little girl who was really a grown woman.

Best of all he had the chance to visit other villages that he'd only previously read about. He got to see the sun, the sky, clouds. He got to ride on a ship across water, and fight pirates. They didn't get to go to the water village, but that was alright. Maybe some time in the future....

The forest got smaller and smaller behind them until it couldn't be seen anymore. The green and the growth on the sides of them eventually turned into yellow sand, and the heat from the desert could be felt again. Konran once again started to glow as his body automatically began to absorb sunlight.

The ride through the desert wasn't as long as the ride through the forest, so they'd be back home soon...

Jynx had slept through much of their previous trip across the water after the encounter with the pirates, and had even slept through most of the visit to Morigakure, but that was alright. She had been exhausted from all of the action and all of the training: something that after talking to Destiny she said was normal. Destiny said she'd likely be easily tired for a few days as her body adjusted to having the appropriate foods, plenty to drink, and lots of sunlight.

Jynx didn't mind of course; if it meant she was becoming more healthy than she wasn't going to complain. Still, it was nice to be up on the ship again and sailing back towards Kurayamigakure no Sato. The other villages had been nice, at least the two out of the three that they had gotten to see, but she was excited to get back home and get back to doing some training. She wanted to become super strong like the Kane's, though she understood that that was likely going to take a lot of work, and a lot of practice. She was determined though, very much so.

So, as they sailed Jynx remained seated out of the way nearby Konran, looking all around and watching ther crew; memorising what they were doing ang learning from it. When that got too boring she would take to staring at the clouds and trying to pick out different shapes among all of them: this new sight ability thast Alec had given her was definitely a bonus.

Everything had gone over pretty well in the last two villages. Kurayami was now on friendly terms with Sabakugakure no Sato as well as Morigakure no Sato. Temaki had seemed pretty friendly, and from what she had heard Marquetta was a pretty cool person too. They probably could have stayed longer, but getting back home was a good idea too: she wanted to see what Kurayami looked like with her own eyes. Plus, she wanted to say hello to everyone again.

She knew she was going to have to explain her little 'accident' again since she should have a full grown woman, but she didn't mind telling her story all over again. At least this time she wouldn't have to worry about traveling with a bunch of pirates.

Destiny had taken up what was quickly becoming her usual spot on the railing near her father: out of the way but where she could watch everything. It was fascinating to her to watch the crew go to work, especially when they had to climb up pretty high to handle the sails and other tasks.

Destiny shifted her attention in the direction of Kurayami; waiting to arrive there so that she could say hello to everyone else.

Soon, the horizon became dark. Day seemed to change instantly to night. Nocturnal insects and other things could be heard in the darkness and the fog. Alec didn't mind even after being in all of the sunlight and the heat; the darkness and the chill of Kurayami he actually welcomed.

The Mossberg made its way into the dock area and dropped anchor...

Konran was still glowing even though they were back home again. He looked up to see the sky going from bright to dark. He should have dreaded coming back to where he'd been held captive for most of his life, but since he was with the Kanes now he didn't care. Alec didn't come off as the type to keep someone locked in a room.

They were back home now, and now it was time to figure out some living conditions.
