Uchiha Heiwa's Multiple Mission Thread [Thread 1]

I'm going to post multiple D and C rank missions here so as to not have to turn in multiple links. I hope that's okay!

General Repairs:

Heiwa looked down at the list that had been placed in her hand about twenty minutes ago; it was of a decent length, one with all sorts of little jobs listed on it that needed accomplished around the Administrative Complex. The list included painting both inside and outside of the building, shrubbery that needed some trimming, general cleaning of carpets and floors, windows needing cleaned, grass needing cut, among other things. A long list indeed, but there were only a few things that Heiwa, as a small child could do: so likely some window cleaning and some floor clean up was going to be what she ended up doing; she was small enough to get into all of the nooks and crannies after all.

The first thing she had to do was find a broom; especially as she noticed a broken window that was being removed so it could be replaced with a newer one by some of the older people who had been floating around doing work. She wandered down the hall to the Janitors closet and was happy to find it unlocked. A quick peek inside and she had found what she was looking for: broom, pail to sweep it all into, and a garbage bag just the right side of Heiwa to carry that she could empty the pail into when it got too full.

She figured she would start with the window first; clean up the mess before anyone accidentally steps on it and hurts themselves. The adults who had been working chuckled and stepped to the side to allow Heiwa to do her job right fast; she was thorough as could be in her cleaning, making sure she got even the little tiny pieces that most adults likely would have missed because of how tall they were. Once finished she emptied her pail into the garbage bag and then moved out of the way with a soft spoken "Thanks". Then it was on to finish the rest of her sweeping.

She went down one hall and another, cleaning as well and thorough as any child could as she went. As she finished with the last hallway she tied her now full bag shut and carefully dragged it to the dumpster; careful not to tear the bag along the way - the last thing she wanted was to have to do all of that cleaning work again, especially with the fact that there was glass in the bag.

Once the bag was taken care of she switched her broom and dust pail for a clean rag and some window glass cleaner and then went back to work. She easily was able to climb into the windows, the seals side enough to keep her small feet solidly planeted. She started with the freshly replaced window as the adults had just finished and continued on from there.

Window after window was cleaned thoroughly until there was nothing left on the windows; no finger prints, smudges of any kind, or any sort of dust or dirt. She knew they likely weren't going to stay that clean long, but she wanted to do her job right; it was the way she had been taught after all.

Once all of the windows were finished she wiped sweat off of her brow as she put the rag into the dirty rag pile in the Janitors closest and returned the window glass cleaning spray where it belonged. She then took off, off to turn in on a job completed while also checking to see if there was anything else she could do.

Transporting the Boxes:

Heiwa liked being helpful. She might not have been able to go beat up the bad guys (just yet, anyway) or go solve some giant problem, but moving some boxes? Yeah, she could move some boxes no problem. Even if a good bit of them were likely bigger than she was.

"Helping, helping! I get to help! Yes, yes, I get to help!", words sang in a song like voice in her head as she skipped into the building. She knew already where to go, having made certain that she memorized the directions exactly. Brain puzzles came in handy for memory skills, especially at times like these.

As Heiwa walked to the room that housed the boxes she needed to move she did the math in her head from the information she had been given: there were ten small boxes, five medium boxes, and five large boxes (those were likely going to be the issue for her to move), so twenty boxes in total. She figured it wasn't going to take her too long once she got a good pace going, but until then it was likely going to be a bit on the slow side of things.

She entered into the room and took in the sight before her; confirming the amount of boxes in the room did add up to twenty. She looked to the largest boxes first, figuring that likely the best plan would be to get the biggest boxes, the problematic ones, moved first and then work her way down from there. Biggest to smallest. Hardest to easiest. Seemed legit.

She started with pushing one box after another own the hallway, going from one to the next and then so on and so forth until all five were at the bottom of the steps. She then lifted them, one after another, taking them carefully upstairs. She followed this step with each one, pausing only after the fifth one was upstairs. She then pushed them down the hallway much like she had before to the new room they were to go to. Once she was sure they were in the room and pushed up against the wall neatly she went own and started the process over again with the medium boxes.

The medium boxes were done in much the same manner as the large ones; pushed down the hall to the steps one after another until all five were there. From there she carried one at a time up the steps and placed them neatly at the top of the steps, out of the way so that anyone coming past wouldn't trip over them and fall from lack of paying attention. Once all five were at the top of the steps she then carried them, one after another, to the room they were to be in where she neatly stacked them as she had the large ones.

Now all that was left was the ten small boxes. Those weren't going to be too much trouble, and so one by one she carefully carried them from the one room, up the steps, and into the new one were she neatly stacked them as well. Once she had moved the last box and organized it she took count as she double checked her work; five large boxes, five medium boxes, and all ten small boxes had made it, undamaged, to the new room.

Giggling she skipped out of the room, shutting the lights off behind herself and closing the door. All of that hard work definitely deserved some ice cream!

Planer Lost:

"The heck is a planer?" Heiwa asked the man handing out missions as she looked at the scroll she had been given her. The mission itself was fairly simple - she had to find something that had been lost and which was near and dear to the person who lost it. But, she had no fucking clue what it was she was even looking for: which annoyed her, greatly. Glancing up from the scroll since she hadn't recieved an answer she looked up at the mission giver to see that he wasn't even paying her any attention. "Oi! You deaf? I asked what a planer is!" she repeated herself. In a very annoyed fashion the man lowered his glasses and sat up to look properly at her.

"A planer is a tool used to help cut wood. That is why you are going to a word working shop to try and look for it. I do hope you show more respect to your client or else you will not be paid.", the man finally responded. He then replaced his glasses on his face and make a shooing motion with his hand.

Heiwa simply rolled her eyes with a huff, turned, and stormed off. Out the administrative building she went and across the village. Once in the market she glanced around to get her barrings and then started heading towards the shop areas that sold things such as furniture and the like. She bobbed and weaved her way through the people, moving so quickly that she nearly caused a man to drop all of his groceries. Ignoring the yelling that was directed at her she just kept going until she was too far away to hear it. Arriving at the shop she knocked on the door and then walked in.

As the man behind the counter looked up she offered what she hoped was a cheery wave before walking over. "I'm here to help you find a... planer?" The man, suddenly looking happy, nodded his head and then pointed towards his temporary replacement to show her what it looked like. Heiwa memorized it and then nodded before she got to looking.

She searched high and low; up on the shelves and down in the cabinets. Then lower still as she started looking under the cabinets. Nothing. Eventually she started looking other places such as in the baskets and such holding supplies, yet still nothing. Then, just as Heiwa was beginning to get annoyed as well as beginning to give up hope she spotted it; off in a corner in one of the only places she hadn't looked. She picked it up carefully, ensuring that it didn't break, and handed it over to the shop owner as soon as he was finished dealing with his current customer.

The shop owner, seeing it, grinned from ear to ear and shook Heiwa's hand. Deciding to make her escape before he could try and hug her or anything she darted out of the shop with a wave and returned back to the administrative building. "Found it. Need my money...", she said after getting there. She was looked at curiously before her money was handed over. With ryo in hand she left...

Fixing the Shop:

"......" Okay, this time she didn't have a comment to make, or a remark. This mission was just sad. Someone's lively hood had been just ripped right out from under them - or more correctly burned out from under them. Of all people Heiwa knew how to suddenly lose everything like that felt, and it was a very sobering thought that kept her from acting like her usual bitchy bad ass self. In fact, her lack of a bad girl type reaction caused the mission giver to look up at her curiously.

Heiwa simply looked up from the scroll in her hands, saw the look, and gave a half hearted roll of her eyes before turning and walking away. Just as she was walking out the door she thought she heard a "Hmmm.." from behind her, but as she glanced back the old man was back to looking down at the papers in front of him and didn't seem to be paying her any mind.

Putting her mind back on her task she headed down the hall, through the doors, and out of the administrative building. Heiwa glanced around while calculating the quickest path to the bakery and upon figuring it out took to the roof tops as she jumped from one to another quickly. Her method of travel had her arriving much quicker than she would have been on the ground, and therefore less than ten minutes later she hopped down in front of the badly burned door and hesitantly stepped inside. "Hello? I was sent here to help...", she called out while wincing as she saw all of the damage.

From the back came a male voice, "Just in time. Can you come back here and give me a hand.. this things a bit heavy." Not wasting any time Heiwa made her way into the kitchen area in time to see the bakery owner attempting to push an oven out of its space alone. Rushing over she helped pull it out to reveal the damage behind the wall. She helped move the oven out into the less damaged room and then came back into the kitchen to help clear out the second oven. Once the ovens, as well as several other appliances were out of the way she got a broom and began to help sweep things up with the owner.

The work was hard, and it went on for hours, but not once did Heiwa make a nasty comment. In fact, she could identify with the bakery owner too much to want to be mean to him. He had lost his business, he didn't need her shit on top of that. Once she was finished she offered a good bye wave and then walked out of the bakery. She was hot, sweaty, and a mess, and she didn't care.

Heiwa made her way back to the administrative building once up at the desk she gave a light knock to grab the mission giver's attention. He looked up, saw the condition of her clothing and hair and easily could smell the burnt wood smell on her. Without a comment he reached over, pulled out the appropriate amount of ryo, and handed it over. "Good job..", he commented.

Heiwa, beginning to get back to her old self, as well as not wanting to lose her bad girl reputation simply rolled her eyes. "Whatever.", she commented before taking her money and walking off, this time sure she could hear chuckling coming from the old man behind her.

Scare Tactic:

Another day, another favor. This time around she wouldn't be protecting someone, or delivering some illegal substance. No, this time around she was tasked with scaring someone for cheating. The guy had been getting away with it for too long and him and his lover were a little too open with their relationship. The wife wanted it stopped, and she was willing to pay to have that happen. Heiwa wasn't going to turn down money, not when she was saving for a place of her own, and so she accepted without hesitation: morals were something she had given up on having quite a while ago since the rest of the world seemed to lack them.

Heiwa headed to the location she assumed her husband was at - a friend had tipped her off only about fifteen minutes or so ago so the chances were high that he was still in that location with his lover. As Heiwa moved, using the roof tops as a quicker method of travel, she thought about what she was going to do to the guy. The wife didn't want her husband killed, but she had hinted that she wouldn't mind his ass being kicked around a bit. As far as the lover... well, the wife had actually come out and said she didn't care if she died or not. Was Heiwa willing to kill someone over cheating? Sadly, it was possible.

As Heiwa skidded to a stop on the roof, having made it to the location, she peered down over the edge and sure enough the husband - whose face matched the picture she had been given - was lip locked with a female who looked twenty years younger than him. The woman was hot, attractive, and Heiwa could definitely tell why the guy preferred her to his wife. But, his wife was the one paying her, not him, so he was going to get his ass kicked and she was going to get her pretty face destroyed. All in the name of money!

Grinning to herself Heiwa jumped down and landed lightly on the ground. Her landing was nearly soundless, and the two lovers seemed to interested in sucking face to actually notice her sudden appearance. Deciding to spice things up a bit, as well as wanting to see all kinds of 'oh shit' looks Heiwa spoke loud and clear, "I don't think your wife would appreciate you sticking your tongue down that hot things throat." Just as she expected both the male and female jumped a mile and turned to face her, each looking quilty: which only clearly told her that the woman knew he was married and didn't care. Right, she was definitely getting her ass kicked becuase people like her were just the worst.

"My... my wife? There's no need to tell my wife."

"Tell her?", Heiwa asked, making a point to raise a brow. "Who exactly do you think sent me here? She's the one who told me where to find you. She knows this shit has been going on for long enough and she wants to make sure I drive the point home that it ends and it ends now." As Heiwa spoke she took slow and threatening steps closer. The woman was backing up while the man looked a little too terrified to move.

Just as Heiwa was expecting the woman went to try and run but a quick lunge and grab and Heiwa grabbed her by her long hair. She twisted her hand, getting a better grip in the long strong golden locks, and used it as leverage to smash her face into the wall - twice. She hit hard enough to at least shatter a cheek bone and break her nose - she wasn't going to look beautiful ever again. When finished she untangled her hand from the woman's hair as she dropped to the ground crying and screaming. Heiwa turned her attention onto the man who was backing up with his hands held in the air. "Please, I don't want any trouble. You don't have to hurt me. I won't cheat on her again. I'll come home every night, right after work. I'll treat her right."

Heiwa just grinned and shook her head. She lunged again, grabbing onto the mans crouch and giving a twist and squeeze. The man squealed like a pig as tears went streaming down his cheeks. Heiwa held on for a moment or two before he passed out. She released him quick enough and then glanced towards the alley way mouth; the woman's screams was drawing attention. With a quick bit of parkor she was out of the alley and back on the roof tops again, quickly before anyone could see her.

She took a long about way, not wanting to risk anyone following her, before making it back to the wife's house. She landed nearby, walked over, and knocked. When the wife answered Heiwa simply said "It's done." before she was handed an envelope. The door was shut, and Heiwa walked away with her payment.

Dealing the Junk:

Another little side job. It was one that would get her a good bit of money so she wasn't complaining. A buddy of hers needed her to deliver a package from one drop point to another drop point. Then she was to pick up the money, leave the specified amount, and then take the rest that was left as her own payment. It was simple, it was easy, and it would get her nicely paid which she needed considering she was now saving up for her own place to live.

Following the instructions she had been given she didn't waste time in getting to the drop point. It was, thankfully, dark outside which made moving around easier. The darkness meant she wasn't going to be noticed all that easy, and made hiding from the civilian police easier. It wasn't exactly like what she was doing was legal or anything. So yeah, best to avoid trouble and all of that rot.

Once at the drop point Heiwa found the package she was supposed to deliver as well as a note. She tucked the package into her jacket after a quick glance around to ensure no one was around and watching her. With the package safely tucked away and hidden she turned her attention to the note and opened it up. It was a simple set of instructions; mostly a location as well as a safe word. Memorizing everything she then ripped the pieces of paper into extremly tiny pieces and threw it into a puddle.

Turning on her heel she headed off to the location, getting there fairly quickly and without any sort of trouble. Upon arriving she spoke the safe word "Rainbow.", and watched as a figure emerged from the shadows. Not a word was spoken between the two as the package was handed over in exchange for the money and another note. She walked off a good bit before opening up the note. She read it quickly, memorized the location for the money drop off as well as the amount to be left, and headed there.

The money was dropped off upon arrival and the rest kept for herself. Not wanting to hang around for long in case someone came around being nosey and snooping she took off.

Protect the Whores:

Heiwa was desparate for money. Living in an orphanage after thirteen or so years of living in a normal house with a normal family wasn't fun. The rules, the regulations, the complete and total lack of privacy. Let alone all of the fights she kept getitng into. She didn't get along well with the other children because they liked to tease her and pick on her: she was different then them because her family was still alive, she was simply unwanted. But, it was whatever. There was no point in her getting distracted by those thoughts now.

She had a job to do; though this wasn't a normal ninja mission. She was to protect a whore while she went about her... well, business. It was definitely going to be awkward, and likely strange, but she was instructed that so long as she stayed quiet and out of the way no one would bother her so that was precisely what she was going to do.

Heiwa arrived at the brothal five minutes early and hesitantly knocked on the door: she had never been in a place like this, and really hoped she wouldn't actually have to go inside. Thankfully, the madame answered the door with the whore who needed protecting in tow. "Glad to see you made it. This is Precious, she's one of my best. Keep her safe while she does her job and you'll be paid well for it. If there's even a scratch on her when she gets home, however, you're not getting a penny. Understood?" Given that the woman was paying her and being rude to her likely wouldn't amount to anything good Heiwa simply nodded and didn't say anything - she didn't trust herself from not sprouting off with her usual attitude and bullshit after all.

Precious, as the madame of the house had called her, walked out the door and off down the street. Not wanting to waste time, nor stay near the madame a moment longer, Heiwa turned on her heel and followed quickly. She kept enough distance as to not spook the woman's johns, and simply followed her as she went about her day - or well, evening as it were. With her john in tow Precious led the way to a seedy looking motel and to the pre-ordered room she had reserved for her business. Precious ushered the john inside, gave Heiwa a pointed look and then shut the door behind herself.

Heiwa walked over to the door and leaned on the wall next to it. It didn't take long before Heiwa could hear the unmistakable sound of pleasure coming from the other side of the door, and she found herself beginning to hum to try and block it out. She really didn't want to be there, but the pay made it worth it, yet still the time dragged on all of the same. Eventually though the door opened and out walked the john who didn't even give her a second glance. Precious walked out moments later and headed back towards the brothal, Heiwa following behind.

The two didn't speak as they made their way back and for that Heiwa was grateful. What was there to say to a whore? How was the sex? Do you like your job? Somehow Heiwa figured Precious wouldn't quite enjoy those questions. So, she kept her mouth shut and her thoughts to herself. When they reached the brothal Precious walked inside after instructing Heiwa to remain outside the front door. Seconds later the madame appeared with Heiwa's money in an envelope. "Not a scratch, good job. If you wish to earn some more money come again another night, I always appreciate someone who can do their job properly..."

Heiwa simply nodded, took the envelope of ryo, and turned to leave; disappearing into the darkness as the madame closed the front door to the brothal behind her.

Mission Taken – Catch the Animal:

Akarui sat on Heiwa's shoulders as the pair looked down at the mission slip in Heiwa's hands: this had to be a pretty sad mission compared to the other six she had done so far – an animal was missing, and because it was a house pet it was incapable of surviving on its own. Heiwa knew that that meant if it wasn't found soon something terrible and absolutely horrible could happen to it – neither her nor Akarui wanted that.

Akarui climbed down Heiwa's shoulders and took her hand before the pair walked out of the building – Heiwa pocketed the slip as it contained the address of where she was to return the animal to as well as a general description of the animal – it was a small kitten, barely nine weeks old with orange fur and a white spot on its belly.

The slip had given the last location that the cat was spotted, which had been fleeing from the owners house after it had been accidentally startled, and so that's where Heiwa nad Akarui headed hand in hand.

When they reached the house they began their search, looking carefully under everything. Buckets were over-turned carefully, bushes were searched in, even the flower bed was given a thorough inspection. Still, they kept coming up empty handed. Akarui and Heiwa looked at each other and shrugged, frowning. Both of them wanted to complete this mission before the kitten could be injured, but so far they were coming up stumped.

Then they heard a little mewing sound and looked up: the kitten was in the tree in the backyard! Thankfully Akarui was a monkey, which meant the simian had no issues with climbing up the tree to the branch the kitten was stuck on. After some patience the kitten came over curious as to who and what Akarui was. Akarui picked up the kitten as soon as enough trust was gained and then climbed back down the tree – making sure she didn't drop the kitten.

When Akarui was back on the ground with the kitten in hand the two walked up to the house and knocked; handing the kitten over the owner when he answered.

Mission Taken – Rare Animal Hunting:

Some of the missions, Heiwa found herself thinking, were just downright silly. This happened to be one of them, or so she thought, as she read the latest mission slip she had been given: a more well to do lady wanted someone to go hunt down and capture some rare bunnies that had caught her eye – the description indeed did make them seem a bit different then the average bunny because they were pink furred and had four ears. Heiwa had been sure that when she started being given C ranked missions that they would get a little bit more dangerous then this, but she was also relieved she wasn't tasked quite yet with escorting someone or having to protect someone – she felt she was still a little too young for that.

Heiwa handed the mission slip over to her monkey friend, Akarui, and allowed the simian to read the mission description too. Akarui made a face that clearly said to Heiwa 'pink bunnies?', and Heiwa giggled silently and simply shrugged in response. She took the mission slip back when Akarui was finished with it and pocketed it in the front pocket of her dress.

Heiwa and Akarui held hands as the two left the building and headed towards the location that these very strange and apparently very rare bunnies were last spotted. Heiwa had no idea exactly how they were going to catch something as quick as a rabbit, but she was definitely going to give it a shot.

When they reached the location Heiwa and Akarui could see some pink balls of fluff in the distance and looked at each other. Akarui, the quick thinker, said exactly what was on Heiwa's mind: ”Lets use some of these old buckets lying around, surround them, and trap them that way, kay?” Heiwa nodded, figuring it was the best plan they would have. They each took a bucket and took off in opposite directions.

Their appearance startled the bunnies, but because they were coming from opposite directions the bunnies found themselves too confused to move. This allowed the pair to easily capture these bunnies in buckets, all four of them – two males and two females. With the bunnies for the rich lady who wanted them safe and sound the pair headed back to the village. They knocked on the woman's door and handed over the bunnies, both wincing at her squeals of joy.

The woman began to eye Akarui curiously and Heiwa took her brother's hand and led her away; removing him from the curious woman's sight.
